I called on 8/13 to ask for pricing and make an appointment to have a 50 gallon water heater installed. Low and behold I called about 11:30 because we had not received a call and was told there was no appointment on the books. After being told this I asked to speak with the manager, asked her if I did not have an appointment how did I have a specific date and a window of time???? I had a text that I sent my nephew telling him about the appointment(good thing). Still she did not believe me....said she had to 'look into it'. Called me back about an hour later said oh yes we show you called but no appointment was made. My sister really likes their work and has used them several times at her house, I even told a couple of friends to use them. DO NOT USE THEM - pretty much called me a liar but when they found I did call, say that no appointment was made.

Great experience! Needed a water line run and a couple minor issues looked at. Chad came out; he was both on time and courteous. He ran the line, fixed the issues, and earned a customer for as long as I'm in Reno. Five Stars!

It is rather interesting that Drew who claims to be the business master for Jet plumbing was no where to be found when I kept emailing and calling their office .
He talks about my statements about him and his inadequate office policies and staff are exaggerated or the fact had I not lived in California I would have sued jet plumbing .
presenting an invoice and stating this the final bill and then yet present one more bill 2 weeks later stating that we just located this bill .. seriously ?
As a property owner and manager I like to let other property owners know of my good and bad experiences .
There are some vendors that invite repeat business thru hard work and personal relationships and there are others that rather put a lien on someone's property but not pick up the phone and realize that maybe just maybe the person who has PUT $$$$$$ IN THEIR POCKETS maybe has a valid point .
DREW AND JET PLUMBING DROPED THE BALL AND THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS .

We had Jet come out to our house after having our home inspection and finding there were leaks in our crawl space. Our realtor recommended Jet thinking they did free quotes, they do not. $100 for the guy to shine a flashlight into the crawl space (not even going in) and then talk in circles about the missing nob on our water heater. None of our questions were answered and we PAID for NOTHING!!! Didn't even receive a quote in the end (I mean how could he give us a quote when he never went under the house to see the damage). Feel scammed on this one.

We have since found a new WONDERFUL plumber who in fact does FREE quotes after spending time corner to corner in our crawl space, and actually inspects the damage, figures out why something is leaking, and provides solutions!!! This other business has also completed quality jobs for us.

We live in Tahoe Donner, Truckee and struggle to find quality trades folks. Friend in Prosser recommended Jet Plumbing.

Live body answered a call late Friday evening for a leaky washer valve, offered emergency response but it wasn't necessary, first available was Tuesday afternoon. Great! Called numerous contractors Jet is the only one that picked up. Slight mix up with the scheduling, when you make an appointment they want to make sure you're there on the call ahead, don't miss that call.

Ricky showed up and was polite, courteous and professional. Recommended additional follow up work to improve our overall situation but fixed our immediate issue quickly and efficiently. Ricky is a true professional and I appreciated having a no nonsense tradesman on the job. Thx Ricky! Jets lucky to have you!

If you're looking to have the 'Operations Manager' Mr. Tommy show up in person at your house unannounced and provide a lecture on the subject of how to live your life because you were questioning being charged $155 per hour for 'road time' then this is the company to call.

The plumber showed up, looked at my water heater for 30 seconds and said ""I recommend you replace it.""

Total cost $120 - for 30 seconds work. Totally unwilling to negotiate. I will never call them again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I am visiting my folks here in Reno and noticed the drain in the guest bathroom sink was not working. My mom called Jet from a referral given to her by a neighbor.
Edwardo came out and was the nicest guy! He was so polite and figured out the problem right away. My mom asked him about the leaking hose bibs out front and he took a look at those too. He came back with a very fair quote for that job and explained everything to her very clearly.
I was very impressed with his professionalism and custom service. I feel very comfortable having him come back to finish this job for her even if I am not here.

Fantastic service. I had a blockage in my kitchen sink. It needed to be snaked. Same day great service. In and out in less than 45 minutes. Checked and double checked that the blockage was cleared. Totally reasonably priced. Thanks Mel !

BEWARE!!! This company started out seeming ok but then things turned around real fast. We had an appointment for a Friday to have a water heater replaced and our pipes fixed. They said they would be here between 10 and 12. Its 1230pm and they were not here yet. I call them and they acknowledged that i had an appointment but there must have been a glitch in the system and my appointment got deleted somehow. The manager said that he can send someone on the Saturday but then i would be forced to pay the higher rates. I asked why i would have pay the higher rates when the company was the one that messed up. He said ""because its Saturday and those are just the rates"". He finally said ""well i will do Monday then and give you a 100 dollar discount"". Are you kidding me, i get a 100 dollar discount for your mistake and i go another 3 days with no hot water. This manager and the employees never apologized and were so rude. I ended up calling another company and told them what was going on. After hearing my story they said ""let me guess, it was Jet Plumbing"". That actually made me laugh and they felt bad for my situation right away. They came out on Saturday and charged me regular rates to help me out. Jet was going to charge at least 2,150 for the work. I ended up getting it done for about 1,200 with the new company. Saved a lot of money. Stay away from this company. Very rude and overpriced.
