They did fix my problem...but it took months. The original tech, who was here for other plumbing problems was shown two additional problems and asked for a quote...on at least two occasions. Also asked the office for a quote at least twice.

The first tech disappeared & two other guys came to do the work...no quote. 2 1/2 hours later we were presented with a bill for $900, which was not even broken down, tho parts were minimal..

When I complained to the manager, I was told that the techs did give us a quote & that everything was charged according to their fee schedule. He finally refunded me $100 when I held my position that we had received terrible service (no apologies) and that the charges were outrageous. (I had, while waiting for this job to be done, extensive foot surgery for which the doc was paid $800 & was obligated to do 120 days of follow ups...lots more time than 2 1/2 hours).

I will never, ever use them again. I'd rather be without water for a few days.

This was years ago but I guess it's better late than never. A few years ago our toilet got clogged at MIDNIGHT. lucky for us, Jerry's plumbing was at our home within minutes. They were very polite and friendly. thank you again!!!

Jerrys plumbing has been nothing but amazing. I had a huge plumbing issue and they were able to come out and fix it the same day. The girls in the office were all super nice and professional and called me before the tech arrived to let me know he was on the way. I have recommended Jerrys to my family and will continue to use them.

Incredibly unprofessional. AVOID. I called Jerry's and spoke with Anna on 1/2/15 to ""Request an estimate"" for a heating unit at my place of business. She said that their company could send someone out Tuesday 1/6/14 between the hours of 12- 5pm. I mentioned that they would need to be quiet as we would be in business at that time and I was told that they would make a note to look at the unit quietly. I had set up 4 different appointments for estimates on that morning. Everyone who had come out had been real professional preparing an invoice for the work that they felt needed to be done. Once completed I set each invoice aside to be reviewed following the last of the scheduled estimate appointments. When the technicians came out for Jerry's I showed them to the unit asked him to be conscience of the noise as we had clients. After about 30 min the tech came back up front with a bill. I let him know that I was told that this was a free estimate and asked why there was a bill. He said that he needed to check with the office and then came back in and apologized for the misunderstanding. He explained that he was told that our request was for a repair and not an estimate and that this was the 2nd call that they'd been on where the receptionist has micscomunnicated to them the work that was to be done.
I was upset for the technician and called Jerry's to speak with Anna and what ensued was became the most unprofessional display that I have ever experienced. She basically tried to cover her tracks by lying about what I had called and requested and when I insisted that I had notes for each free estimate appointment that I had made and that I had only set up an estimate she stated that they do not do not even provide free estimates. I told her that this was not accurate as I had made sure that they offered them when we spoke on the 2nd of January before we had even set the appointment for the estimate. She then reiterated that they do not offer free estimates again and threatened me stating that she would send this matter to collections. Her dishonesty and threat left me furious. After calling the lawyer for our business I went online to see if I could fine the owners contact information for him. What I found as clear as day in the center of the ""Contact Us"" page in bright red print was ""Call for Free Estimate"" Additionally to this there is also a post-it sized tag in the side that states ""No Cost Estimate"" After about an hour a woman called back stating that she was the owner. She yelled at me over the phone. She would not stop for me to speak and attempting to speak over her did very little. I could not say much and then when I asked her to speak she promptly hung up on me. Their overall method of handling business was completely disorganized and unprofessional. With everything from the miscommunication with their technicians, the lying about what was requested with me on the phone as wells as not offering free estimates, not to mention the threats made pretty much assured that I will NEVER do business with Jerry's. I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid them as well.

Something is wrong. A Jerry's Plumbing van is parked across town on El Nido Street at night and on weekends- during the work day some guy leaves his pickup there and uses the Jerry's Plumbing van. Why doesn't he pay to have a parking place someplace like other people- he is ripping off the taxpayers by using a street parking space for business use.

To start this review on a positive note, the assigned technician DID correct my plumbing problem. The rest of the experience has left a lot of room for improvement. I am a landlord and had a leak in a tub that effected two floors below it. My home warranty company selected Jerry's to perform the repair. I paid my required deductable with my CC. The technician showed up late, fixed the problem and then refused to leave until my tennant wrote a check to cover the cost I had already paid for. Appologies were made and promisses to make it right, Jerry's offered me a fair price to fix the effected drywall in the basement. I agreed, (My mitake). The same technician came out, did a fair job with the actual drywall repair to the ceiling but was suppose to get close or match the paint already on the ceiling. NOT EVEN CLOSE, used a cream color on a white ceiling, to make it worse, I had the correct paint in the garage, just had to ask my tennant. Repair job was around a lamp fixture and he failed to reinstall the lamp bezel that was lying on the floor. The tech called me and told me that he was done with the job and I told him I would inspect the job that evening and if satidfied woud call the office to pay the bill. Tech then apparenly told the billing department to charge my CC (they told me that this was not possible as they do not keep the CC info) and they actually did it. I gave no authorization to charge my CC and the job was not complete but they charged it anyway. I called and talked to the manager twice and he promissed me that the Owner (Jerry) was going to call me and make this right. NO CALL AND NO FIX. I have contacted my CC company and have issued a fraud alert on Jerry's and an investigation has been opened. I will get my money back.... but make sure you DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Terrible experience; DO NOT USE. Called Anna there three times and: 1. on first call she disclosed that the tech who came out to inspect for the work needed quit (she said they would call back); 2. never got a call back to follow up; 3. never got a copy of a quote that was supposed have been given to me; and 4. after asking for the estimate and calling twice more, a technician never responded to my request to explain the estimate for work.
After 3+ weeks of waiting, I've moved on (just like the tech who quit) and you should too.

I'll second the other review. One of my many problems was that they would act like they'd be right down, but unbeknownst to me, they were in Santa Maria, and I was in Goleta, so they wouldn't arrive for a long time. This was for dealing with problems with their original work. I got stuck with them when I bought something from Sears several yrs ago. I declined to have them install my recent Home Depot purchases, and someone else agreed with my decision Not to have them.

I bought my heater from Home Depot, and they sent their contractor, Jerry's Plumbing, to install it. When my installer came, the plumber immediately said I would need to pay $65 extra to change the piping of the relief valve, which was in a different location than my previous heater. I called Home Depot, and they said no. that's not the case - my purchase price covers up to 5 feet of extra piping. They ended up using just 2 feet. How could their own plumber not know this basic fact? He didn't even question it; he was going to charge me $65 extra until I called Home Depot,
After the plumber left, I noticed the pilot light position was 2 inches from from the wall, forcing you to scrunch over and peer under the gas supply line to see the pilot. I asked if it could be shifted at least 20 degrees so it was normally accessible. They said no (unless I wanted to pay for a reinstall). It was up to code and that's ""all that matters"".
