As a second-generation plumber, Jerry brings a wealth of experience. In 1993, he achieved the distinction of being the youngest plumber to obtain his Contractors License. Within a year of launching the business, Jerry brought on his first employee. In five years, our team grew to ten skilled technicians. We launched a new division in 1998 to handle fire sprinkler system installations. By 1999, we had added HVAC repair and service capabilities to our portfolio. By 2001, we were equipped to handle all aspects of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.

These people are criminals. They replaced a water heater and use no tape or compound on the pipe fittings. The house was filled with propane gas and could have exploded. When brought to their attention Jerry's said to ""call your homeowner's insurance"" regarding the problem. I have seen them in action for 20 years and their shtick remains the same. They are fraudulent and dishonest.

I have never hired them to do any plumbing at my house and after today I never will. Today (10/7/2019) one of their work vans (licences plate 46890L2) cut me off while driving on LOVR and proceeded to try and get in front of a woman on a scooter and tailgated her till she made a turn. The driver was constantly touching lane lines and generally driving erratically. When I passed this person at LOVR and south bay it was obvious to see they were using their phone while driving. Being incredibly reckless and thoughtless like this is no way to earn the business of the public, especially when the van has the business name plastered all over it for everyone to see.

I was referred by my Home Warranty to Jerry's Plumbing and Heating for a problem with my AC. I followed the instructions to wait an hour for my home warranty to reach out to Jerry's with the claim if they don't call you can call them. Jerry's is suppose to call me to setup an appointment. I did that and I did not receive a call after 3 hours. I called Jerry's and informed the lady of the situation and needed to get an appointment scheduled. The lady said rudely we will call you, you don't call us. I let her know that's not the instructions I was given by my home warranty. She said we will call you and we both hung up. Today I reached back out to my home warranty to have the claim reassigned to someone else. I never heard from Jerry's. My home warranty said let me call them and see if they have any appointments while I put you on hold. My home warranty said I just talked to them. They said they talked to you yesterday and they offered you an appointment for today or Friday. Today's appointment is now gone because you didn't want it. This company is unethical and flat out lying. Lost my business and I will spread the word. I filed a complaint with my home warranty on them as well. Glad they didn't come out seems like shoddy work judging on others reviews and their rating. Make sure to check out the unrecommended reviews at the bottom of yelp. Crazy!

I needed my furnace replaced after 33 years of faithful service. On a recommendation I picked Jerry's Plumbing. Louie arrived to assess the situation. He advised me of my choices and the ramifications of each. Once I decided, he made the order and it was installed the next day. Louie is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His attention to detail is outstanding. He replaced and added new insulation and both the gas and electrical connections are neat and tidy.

I had a very bad experience with Mario their service person. I am still in shock at the unprofessional handling of my experience.
When I booked this appointment I explained to the woman answering the phone- Jessica- that I needed to replace the cartridge for a Kohler kitchen faucet and that I needed it replaced the day of service because I have a limited amount of time on the Central Coast. I was assured by her that they have all parts in the truck necessary. I asked how much for a visit and she said it's a free consultation and the technician will let you know at the time they come out. I trusted my leaky faucet would be taken care of and I expected to pay at least $125.00 per hour like my cousin charges in LA who has a plumbing business, and told me what was needed to fix the leak.
Mario arrived at the time expected. He didn't have the cartridge needed and would have to order it. At that moment the sink didn't leak and I couldn't wait for the cartridge to be ordered and have him come out again so I said I wanted him to fix my toilet handle that didn't flush quickly. I knew I needed a shorter chain that I already fixed but that didn't solve the problem. He said I had ""the wrong flapper and it would have to be replaced and the water level was to high. He never told me at that time how much it would cost. I realized later that I should have asked how much will this cost me but I didn't and he should have said the cost up front. Without discussing price I said to go ahead and do the work. He was at my house about 30 minutes.
When he was done I checked out the work he had done but I should have looked closer. I paid by credit card. I was distracted so after he was gone I look at the invoice and he wrote $140.00 for his service call and under that was the word DISCOUNT $10.00. Instead of deducting the $10.00 he added it and my bill was $150.00. I immediately called the office and told Jessica that Mario billed me more than he should have if I'm reading this invoice correctly. I never got the feeling that she could handle this matter and constantly talked over me and didn't listen to what I was saying and frankly didn't care from her phone attitude.
I got frustrated with her attitude and said "" I will gave you 24 hours to resolve this matter"". This was on a Monday. She never called me back so the next day (Tuesday) I called back and again got nowhere with this woman so I demanded to talk to the manager. John wasn't in the office but called me 8am the next day (Wednesday) and couldn't explain why Mario added the $10.00. He also told me that his technicians do charge less than $130.00 for service calls. So why wasn't this disclosed at the beginning when I booked this appointment? I told him I felt like I got taken advantage of, not just from the money he added and should have deducted, but for the entire job and how it was handled. I believe Mario put used parts in my toilet and he never offered me the old parts which were not all that old. I will never work or recommend them again even though they gave me back the entire amount of money ($140.00) that they charged my credit card. Getting my money back was a fiasco too. Even though I was told by the manager I would get a credit on my credit card the office staff mailed out a check with out asking me where to send it. I do not recommend working with this company.

Jerry's was affordable, but the tech that came out would not snake out the main drain as requested. First he said he couldn't find the clean out, then he said it was too full of mud to snake out. He said we would have to empty our fishpond before he could work on it (the fishpond was installed with the clean out in mind).
I had to call Roto-Rooter, who did the job quickly and easily.
