We called Jerry's Plumbing after 10pm because we had a sewage backup. Jerry's was very responsive and came out to our house and fixed our issue. The tech Sean was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend their service to anyone who has a need for a plumber.

My sump pump stopped working during the middle of the recent summer rain storms so I had water damage to basement, bathroom and spare room. Doug from Jerry's guys at Paul Davis were fast, efficient and professional. He quickly diagnosed my issue and put in a new sump pump. I appreciate that he was willing to work with me on paying for the sump pump. He answered all my questions regarding other way to protect my home when we have heavy rains. I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs.

Doug Knight has earned my business on behalf of his company.

About a week ago I had a full stoppage the whole house was affected so I logged into the good ole HSA (Home Warranty) website bracing for how terrible they are and those they refer to are. They linked me up with LiveGreen plumbing out of DC, to keep the rest of this short because its not all about them. The tech informed me that the pipe needed snaked and the warranty won't cover it because he has to go through the toilet. He quoted me $638 but after his new guy got sewage water all over several of my walls and doors. He decided to drop it down to $438 SMH.

On Sunday 15JUL2018 I heard the dreaded noises of the back up and sure enough my toilet couldn't flush and my shower would fill up when turned on. Sigh. I decided I was not going to use the worthless HSA or anyone the recommend this time. So away to Yelp I flew. I was apprehensive at first of Jerry's due to some of the more extreme negative reviews but decided to be my own adult and give them a try. I determined that we would live with the issue for the day to avoid extra fees and I would contact them on Monday. So on Monday the 16th I followed the link to their website to submit a request directly in hopes I would get a faster reply, I sent it at 7am ish. I was called at around 9am so pretty good in my opinion. I can't remember the name of the nice lady but she took down the problem and said she could have a technician come out that day between 12 and 4 so I said yes. I am in the military and work in DC so I couldn't be there but my grandma is and if the tech can call me when he gets there I can answer any questions he may have.

at 1221 I received a text that the technician was on his way at 1234 he called and was on site and ready for the fully story. I explained that it had been snaked the week prior and that I had crawled under the house to inspect for myself yesterday and to see if the other guy had totally lied to me about clean outs. Boy was I upset to see my plumbing. The home was renovated prior to the sale and all new fixtures were installed including PVC piping from said fixtures. All of that looked great until I came to where it all comes together. I discovered that they had cut the old cast iron pipe and plugged the PVC into it. Sigh great this is why the other plumber was hinting at replacing the main line all the way to the street. I told him I was bracing for the bad news and expected it to be as high as $8000 ruff. He agreed with all the other details and said he was headed under to take a look and would call me back once he had a good assessment and estimate.

At 1304 He called again. He said ""Your old pipe is most likely original to the house and may have failures somewhere between you and the street we cant know that for sure unless we did the camera but then you spend the money on the camera just to spend the money on replacing so if you do want to go ahead and replace it so you don't have to worry about it I have the estimate ready"" to which I took a breath and said lay it on me. This man said ""Well I see about 25 feet under the house and was able to trace it to the street and its approximately 65 more feet. We would dig down to between 4 and 6 feet and lay gravel install two clean outs one by the house and one by the street. All in all to bring things to code and the excavation with your military discount your lookin at $11,347."" Dramatic pause and Grandma has to sit down in the background! ""But you may be able to put this off because you have sewage coming up in the ditch and I think its the counties clean out leaking because it might be blocked in their pipe, especially because you said the other plumber told you he put 175 feet of snake down and you only have about 100 feet in between that toilet and the street."" to which I said ""Damn your right I bet that guy saw that and saw a way to get money out of me without the warranty being involved and took advantage of how naïve I am"".

He finished with explaining the financing options available should I decide to go through with it and did not pressure me but reaffirmed his recommendation to call the county and come have them take a look. I Called them immediately and told them what he saw and the nice county lady said someone would be out right away or definitely this afternoon. Long story short they found their clean out and the cap had been knocked down inside and was causing the blockage. They cleared it and ran the camera finding a few other troubled areas in their system and snaked everything. Magically my problem was solved and my plumbing bill went from $11,347 to $105 just for the visit.

I have saved my estimate and will definitely be calling once I am in a better position financially for my family to have my pipe replaced so that it won't become my next problem down the road. Thank you Doug and Thank you Jerry's plumbing for fostering a Team with Honesty and Integrity it is rare in this world.

I spoke to Jerry on the phone and he was quite an expert at diagnosing on the phone. A gentleman named Doug came out to my house and spent a good 30 minutes trying to fix my system (which was installed in 1982). After talking to him he laid out two options for replacement.

They installed it the VERY next day and my house feels great!!!

Do not believe the lies as told by the friends in these reviews. Although I had seen varying reviews I decided to give this company a try. It was a mistake. An appointment was made with a window from 1400 to 1800. I took time off work to be available, but even After multiple phone calls the technician never arrived. Finally around 1830 I received a call from the service provider. It was late so they asked to reschedule for the next day from 1000 to 1200. Again after multiple phone calls the technician never arrived, again after changing my plans to meet their schedule. Tried calling at 1300 but the call went straight to voicemail. Do not use this service provider.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! The technician was knowledgeable, but the operational support was horrific!! The level of customer service was horrendous. The office manager was disrespectful and offensive.

If there's a choice for zero star that's how I will rate them. Called Jerry's Plumbing talked to a lady and explained to her what's wrong with my Heat Pump unit outside and if she can give me an estimate how much it would cost to repair it but she insisted they will send someone to my home at no charge unless they try to fix the issue. After Jerry's employee checked my furnace by removing the panel using his screwdriver and flashlight and he noted everything looks good in the inside. Then he went outside to check the pressure of the Freon using his finger and stated no freon is coming out and I will need a freon. He removed the panel and read the instructions how much freon I need and he stated I need 10lbs and it wil cost $75 a pound plus labor. For the ""service"" he provided comes out to $135. Reason the amount is $135 for the ""FREE"" estimate is, he had to take his tools out to diagnose the problem which was the Screwdriver and a Flashlight. So beware everyone.

My well was not drawing water to my rental house. I installed a new tank and a new pump, but was still not having any luck. Jerry's sent a tech out. He refitted the well hose with new hardware, which was a logical move, but the problem remained. The tech informed me that the only part left was the hose from the well to my pump. It required a backhoe and shovels. After installing the new hose (in less than a half-day) it developed an air leak, causing it to fail. On a Saturday night I called the emergency line. Jerry himself came out Sunday morning with a backhoe and then re-ran new PVC piping., My tenants had water in a few hours. He didn't make excuses about coming on a Sunday, he just fixed it as promised with no additional charges. My kind of company.
