In 1994, Jerry launched Jerry's Handy Service, Inc as a side venture while employed the TECO company. As time went on, his passion grew a greater love for restoration projects. By 2001, TECO implemented wage cuts for several long-time employees, and Jerry was affected. In that instant, he chose to invest in himself as a full-time entrepreneur. Therefore, he accessed his retirement fund and transformed into a passionate contractor focused on enhancing homes.

During 2004, he ran a small advertisement in the paper. The advertisement grabbed the interest of the local action plan organization. The head of the weatherization program reached out to him to discuss a partnership to serve as a contractor for the initiative, which expanded Jerry's client base. In 2009, he received a call by American Project & Repair to serve as a contractor on various projects. During 2011, American Homes contacted him. In 2014, he employed a team of five and was on the rise. With Jerry's Improvements & Restoration, client needs come first!
