bum's. still waiting on a call back. left repairs half finished. never completed the work

After our amazing plumber of 20 years retired, we decided to give jerry sibley a try. They are 20 feet from one of our properties so we thought it would be a good fit....NOPE! Worst experience with a plumbing company ever. After a no call no show for an apt, they arrived without warning 3 months later to tune a boiler. We also gave them another project that took them over a year to complete! We had a sewer back up and tried them once more.... they showed up unprepared and my husband had to do the majority of the work. They could not fix the issue, and the proceeded to send us a bill for 3k. They are unreliable, understaffed, lack communication, and are grossly overpriced.... save yourself some money and frustration! They also handed out our personal information to a third and fourth party without our consent.

My landlord hired Sibley to fix our office AC. He was told that the heating system had MAJOR problems and would essentially have to be entirely rebuilt. That was six weeks ago. The technician replaced thermostats and then did not return. We suffered through the entire month of July and half of August when the heat in the office went into the 80's. Landlord told it would cost thousands $ to repair.
After being frustrated with the lack of response from Sibley, my landlord hired another technician. He had the problem identified (a small relay) and repaired within about an hour. No major revamp of the system was necessary.

Called Sibley after I had PSI to my house 4 months earlier for the same exact sewer problem. I thought PSI was expensive when they charged me $648 to clear my main sewer line and scope it, but then I had Sibley come out and they charged me $1565, yes, for a main sewer backup and no scope. The guy who came out did not have the ""right"" snake so he had to wait for it to arrive with another tech. While waiting he did cover my carpet with the plastic I gave him (because I did not want to be charged for his run to Home Depot), but still proceeded to get sewer water on my washing machine and carpet when cleaning out the line. When I called to ask about the bill, the supervisor was proud of his tech for ""finding"" things to do while waiting for the snake, such as changing out the ""insides"" of two of my toilets. I knew about one of them and questioned why it needed to be done and the tech said it would be inexpensive, uh, really!? I was home and never even knew he changed the second one until I got the bill. They were obviously running up the bill. I should have chased them away when they did not have the right equipment, but I had already waited two days for them to come do it. Never again will I hire Jerry Sibley.

Would NEVER call Sibley again...with the extremely cold weather we have been having unfortunately my furnace stopped working. I was very happy when they said they could come out that day. WELL...they did come and proceeded to work on the furnace. I had to leave for a couple of hours and asked them to leave me a note of what they did, and to please call my landlord (she will be paying the bill), and explain what the problem is. Came back 2 hours later to a freezing house with the thermostat continually running the motor, no note, did not call the landlord as requested either, and obviously furnace was not fixed. Temperatures in the single digits...
I called Sibley and was not happy...first thing out of the technician on call was..""Well, seems like they had never seen a furnace like that before""..really!!! Said that it was working when he left. I believe it probably was, but was hoping he would have stay a bit to make sure, AND let me know or my landlord what he did. We were not happy and they were not very sympatric, said nothing about any one letting us know what happen nothing...they did not fix it and the technician on the phone continued to say it was fixed and did we think they were lying. Horrible customer service...but wait it gets better....they called my Landlord after I asked them to again to explain all of this nightmare. My landlord called me back and could not believe the conversation she had with them. She made an appointment for the next day for them to come out AGAIN and actually fix the problem. Sibley called me this morning and said they decided not to return to fix the problem...I had them call my landlord and both of us cannot believe this. We are not old and do have an electric fireplace, but if this were elderly people and the temps are -7 and below, an old person could die with no heat, and the strong possibility of having broken pipes which is not a cheap fix. Have discussed this with my fellow colleagues at work and could not believe they just dismiss the job in this kind of weather. I am a concierge and boy...probably not a very good business practice Sibley since I am in contact with many many many people.
We now have Bishop Plumbing coming tomorrow since they were fully booked. I might add we usually call Bishop and should have waited for them from the beginning, but needed help ASAP, they are wonderful. Thanks for nothing Sibley...
Cold in the mountains....

Used Jerry Sibley plumbing for an obstruction in a pipe. Was GROSSLY overcharged. Be VERY leary of their billing methods as they charge all customers both way travel time which means every single customer is over billed while they collect double on their drive time at a rate of $110 per hour. They also state the drive time will start from ""where ever"" they are in the Valley and end ""where ever"" their next service call is at the rate of $110 which they do not disclose up front. Also, there is no Jerry Sibley. This is only the name of the company. Matt, the service manager, was rude and when he didn't show for the service appointment asked me ""what my hurry was"" in getting the plumbing problem fixed.
