Think they are big shots because they have a couple developers they work for to float them when they screw over regular customers. They don't honor their work, and their work is sub par at best. Stay far away

They saved the job that was started out by someone else who ended up making a huge mess and never came back.
I had them finish installing a gas cooktop and overhead vent. I found that most HVAC people just do the AC, and many plumbers don't do the kitchen vent. So I believe they are one of the few in the area who can do the duct work for the kitchen vent.
I find their pricing to be reasonable. Although they do charge for the travel time, other companies charge for the estimate and have slightly higher hourly rates. They initially said cooktop installation would be $250 but I ended up paying $350, which I did not mind, because Joey was super nice and took the time to redo the piping.
For the vent, they initially gave me a $1350 estimate, but their guys were so efficient that it took only 1 hour to complete the job. I asked for the reduction in the fee and they only charged half of the original estimate.
Scheduling the cooktop, which needed to be done ASAP, was done promptly. I was not in a hurry with the vent, so it took some calling back and forth to get an estimate and scheduling done. But once the appointment was made, things moved along smoothly.
Nicole and Michelle who answer the phone were always pleasant and courteous.
They saved my kitchen.

These guys are terrible and don't seem to know what they are doing. We had a AC leak. They came in and did not complete standard leak test for HVAC systems. Put freon in the system which got me cold air but that didn't last long. Now back to hot AC air. Called the company but they said its been too long since repair.......I do not recommend using Jerry Daley & Sons!

Jerry Daley and sons is no good... please stay away..
They do not return phone calls they lie lie lie... they make up stories....Jerry is very unperfetional.. he talks over you and rudely interrupts you.. he has no customer service skills what so ever

We scheduled a routine AC maintenance check with JD & Sons because our neighbors let us know they were doing the same. We'd never had an issue, but figured it was a good thing to do. Later that day, our AC stopped working. Mid-July, no cool air.
They were difficult and defensive when we let them know. Eventually they agreed to come take a look & it was discovered they had done something to the Freon which caused the problem. It was a mini-ordeal.
We never received a bill & optimistically assumed they waived it given the situation. Nearly eight months later, they contacted my father-in-law stating they had been unable to reach us and we owed them a debt. They never once sent an invoice, called, or emailed us. We paid immediately to be done with them & recommend everyone else avoid them from the start.

Horror show. Simple boiler connection. Jerry Daley sent out someone who said he was a plumber and an assistant. They both went to get parts and billed
me for both guys even before the job was started. The plumbing job was unacceptable when it was finally completed. The connections leaked because of incompetence. The guy that was billed out as a plumber did not know how to solder copper pipe. Solder was caked onto pipes and was all over the floor. Not sure what went wrong. J. Daley told me,
""My plumber must have had a bad day."" After paying triple of my original estimate, I had to hire a real plumber to fix the leaks. Basically the entire job had to be redone. I would never use Daley Plumbing out of N. Chelmsford again. I wouldn't even let them connect my garden hose.

My family has been using their services for years for various fixes and projects and have been happy with the work. I live in a condo townhouse and a few years ago my central AC broke and flooded my furnace. I already had been having issues with the furnace, which was the original from 1986, and having the AC break on the hottest day of the Summer was the last straw. I got an estimate and the finished work came in just under that figure which included unexpected work due to my condo complex not being built to code. I've had no issues with my equipment and the guys who came out to do the work were knowledgeable and friendly.

Use someone else.

We hired Them to redo a bathroom years ago. They installed a solid metal pipe running into our toilet in stead of a flex pipe. This started leaking very quickly. We called to ask the to fix it. They came out and replaced it with flex piping and charged us over $200 for their mistake.

I recently had the come out on a warranty call for a water heater. Said it was $110. We got chartered over $300 because the supply house gave them the wrong part. We got charged the extra 2 hours it took (no one at our house) for them to get the correct part from the supply house.

When I nicely called to ask the owner (Jerry) about this, all I got was a very rude and irate response from him. I probably would have understood the mistakes and being charged more. I do not understand rude business owners. I will NEVER use them again. I highly recommend that you look for someone else. There are much nicer people to deal with in the Chelmsford area.
