$175 for a service call. NOTHING was wrong. Thank God repairs weren't necessary, but DAMN $175. I'm on disability. If I had know before hand the cost I would have used another company.

We had a hot water heater burst at our office over a weekend and Todd sent two employees out to repair it. They were very polite, very efficient, and did a great job staying out of the way while we continued normal business during the repair. I was very pleased with them. However, there are two points that make me extremely reluctant to work with this company again, both revolving around communication.
When I contacted Todd initially to get a quote, he missed my call, but was very prompt to follow up. I explained the problem and he gave me an initial quote but explained that it may change when they have a chance to visually inspect it. Understandable. I sent him photos of the hot water heater which led him to determine that there would need to be two additions that would bring it up to code. I asked if that would significantly impact the initial quote, and he responded, "no not too much". However, when I received the final statement, it was about, or slightly more than, an additional quarter of the original quote. I did not appreciate being blindsided by that significant of a difference from the original when I specifically asked what kind of impact it would have.
Also, when we originally set up a time to come out and repair the water tank, he told me that he would have a team out that afternoon or the next morning at the latest depending on when other jobs completed. Understandable. My only request was he let me know if they wouldn't be there today so I didn't continue to expect him, and we could modify our business accordingly. Todd acknowledged he would keep me informed. Roughly an hour after they were supposed to be there in the afternoon, I contacted Todd to see if I had been pushed to the morning. He told me I had been bumped to the following afternoon. This was frustrating because he never told me anything until I reached out, and it was later than both of his initial time estimates. (I could have gone with another plumber that guaranteed I would be taken care of by the next morning had I known this when Todd and I initially spoke.) I asked to be informed when Todd's team were heading our way so I could inform our staff. 45 minutes after the rescheduled time, I was forced to reach out to Todd again to find out what was going on. He didn't even remember which job he was talking to stating that he would be here in 15 minutes when his team did show up 45 minutes late.
We were also required to have an inspection done by the city before the job could be considered fully complete, arranged by Todd and billed to us by him. Once again, I asked to be notified of when the inspection was scheduled. I never heard anything, but I did receive the bill for the job, including inspection, before the inspection was completed.
When the bill was not paid over the holiday week, when I was out of the office, I have received very prompt, blunt communication again from Todd, starting before 7am, wanting to know when he would be paid. Overall, I came away with a bad taste in my mouth that communication and finances only seem to matter to Todd when they impact his business. I did not feel like he believed that courtesy should be extended to me as well.

Great response time. Gave great advice and helped us minimize costs. Great crew and spotless cleanup.

I would most definitely not refer Jensen's Plumbing. Todd presented himself as a good business man that was willing to complete an unfinished job. I explained him the situation, he came out and looked at what I had going on, 2 bathroom remodels, and he said he could get the job done. He was supposed to come out Thursday, 3/4/21, and Friday, 3/5/21, and never showed. I called Thursday, no answer, and then an hour later, he texts and says he will be out Friday. I called Friday, and no answer. He then calls me a few hours later and says if I just allow him to work over the weekend, he promises to get it done. He also tells me that he had COVID, and that his trucks broke down, so his guys couldn't get out to do the job. I explained to him that he should have called and let me know all this, but since he didn't I wanted a refund for the down payment. He was hesitant, but he wrote me a check, which I will monitor to make sure it clears. I know COVID has impacted us all, some more so than others, but if you are a business and are trying to get over on your customers, the very people that pay you, then you might want to reconsider being in business.

I contacted this company after the snow storm. The owner sent 2 guys to my home to "fix" the busted pipes. They were at my home for an hour and fixed 2 small busted pipes to the right of the water heater in our garage. They were unable to fix my tankless water heater and said that someone else would have to contact me regarding this issue. I was able to turn the cold water back on in my home but still had no hot water, so therefore unsure of the integrity of those pipes. The workers were in a hurry to get to the next job and were quickly in their way. I received a call the next day for payment. He actually wanted to charge me $1500 for replacing those 2 small pipes (approximately 5" each) in the garage, even though they had not completed the rest of the job. I told him that I would not be using him to do the rest of the work and that I would be using my regular plumber who had an opening and was able to come. I told him that I was not going to pay that much for such a small incomplete job and asked him what he though would be fair. He then suggested $1250 and told me that I would not like any number that he would give. I told him that I would call him back and texted him that I would pay $600, which I still thought was way too expensive for this job. He immediately texted me back and said that if I paid $650, that we could call if good. I guess he needed to feel like he had the last word, by requiring me to pay that extra $50 dollars. I question the ethical business practices of a company willing to charge such exorbitant prices for incomplete work and take advantage of people during times of emergency.

Jensen plumbing the honest plumber with reasonable rates.
We had a guy tell us we had a root issue, his camera was junkie.
Jensen used a better camera and a cobweb not a root was in the pipe.

Todd installed a gas line for us, and made sure everything was done right. All the other plumbing companies wanted to send a tech and maybe a journeyman, but Todd stayed on site and made sure it was done right for the same price (even a little less than one).

Last year, I hired Todd and his crew to work on my Kitchen remodel and his work and service was excellent. I also called him recently when one of my bathrooms busted a pipe and was flooding my home. He came in instantly and not only quickly diagnosed a potentially devastating issue but also fixed my bathroom the same day. He charged me the price for the work and though I paid him the asked amount I always wonder... so I did my due diligence to check to see if I gotten screwed on the deal. I ended up calling a few plumbers to verify the cost of the work he had done the previous day to see if Todd was in the up and up and HE WAS. He was the least expensive of the four other plumbers who quoted me the same work! Todd could have quoted me a ridiculous amount and honestly, I would have paid him whatever he asked because I was at his mercy. But him quoting me a price that was not only below others and fair but with excellent service to boot? I now consider him my personal go-to plumber. I won't go anywhere else. Todd's the man!

Such a wonderful hidden gem in a world of sketchy businesses. Todd is a very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous plumber. We had a backup in our home and needed someone immediately to come help us out. Within 2 hours he was here with his technician Luke. We did not have external clean outs and they were able to clear the backup without pulling our toilets. Todd and Luke then spent the better part of their day installing external clean outs for us at a cost that was extremely competitive compared to previous quotes we have received. I highly recommend using Jensen Plumbing if you are in need of a plumber.
