I recently had Jemco replace my entire heating system and hot water tank. I would highly recommend Jemco and the technician Sean. They were efficient, respectful, and clean. They were respectful of being in our home and were very courteous. The new seating system, and all the plumbing required was done with precision in the result of a highly skilled and experienced technician.

Called me back in 10 minutes, was at the house in 20 minutes, and fixed pipe in 30 minutes. Does not get any better !!

Who ya gonna trust with your heating system , these guys get it right every time !!! I called for help a few times over the past 15years and the owner and his staff had help here in less than an hour and that's real important getting my heat working !!! Good price on oil too with more than 30 perfect experiences , its obvious they care !!! Great service on every call and dependable to say the least !!! Real Peace is a phone call away !!!

My 88 year old disabled wheelchair bound father received a complimentary assessment of his furnace. The furnace was in good working order but he wanted to take advantage of the free service. Unfortunately that service was the beginning of the nightmare for him. The tech spent a long time in the basement before stating that he needed a part. My fathers health aide thought the tech was going to the van for the part but the reality was that the part had to be ordered. In the meantime he shut down the furnace on his grounds that it was unsafe. What's unsafe is that he is now using 4 space heaters to keep warm. He left him with no heat on a Friday afternoon. On Monday my dad was informed that the part was 'extinct' and that he now needed a new furnace. A furnace that was working perfectly prior to the tech dismantling it. Because my father is on a social security he now has to apply for a new furnace. And all this time.... he has no heat. I called the owner, mike, and he was less than helpful. I never heard of shutting down a perfectly working furnace and leaving an 88 yo disabled man w/ no heat for what is now 7 days.... with temperatures dropping quickly as it is November. It can be at least a week longer before the furnace can be replaced. This is criminal that a tech shut his perfectly working furnace down without so much as giving him time. Because of his disability he can only remain at his home or be admitted to a hospital. That's not fair to him as he is not ill only cold!! Think twice before you call Jemco!
We have an old house with the original furnace that had a corroded section of steam (return) pipe; the tech replaced the pipe in two and a half hours. There was an explosion when the furnace was turned back on. As a result, the police, fire department and NatGrid all arrived. The tech insisted he be paid the $525 fee before leaving, even as the police and fire crew were in the house. The tech commented that the piping would remain even with a new unit. Two days later, a Jemco-referred plumber began to replace the unit, and the piping that Jemco did was ripped out and tossed out. I reached out with the manager at being billed for $525 for less than three hours of work and having it removed 2 days later. I was told it was not his problem but he would get back with me. He never did. My family had no heat for 8 days; I paid over $14K for a new unit. I will not use them again. Thanks, Scott M.

This technician is knowledgeable and honest . is like he working on his own house. He went above and beyond my expectations and is an asset to your company . if any one needs work done ask for Eric .
We purchased a service contract on our boiler as it was on the older side when we bought our home. Jemco went above our expectations. Anytime we had an issue they were prompt, perfessional and fixed the problem. Mike Romano and the other service perfessionals are a great asset to Jemco and I would recommend them!

Explanation Of My Consumer Complaint Against Jemco Fuel Company
Another company installed a new heating system in my home during the winter, but the technician did not install it properly and it quickly broke down.
I called other companies and their servicemen made temporary repairs.
After the system broke down once more, I called Jemco Fuel Company.
Jemco installed a new Aquasmart thermostat.
It was so cold that day and the Jemco repairmen were so busy that I personally picked up the replacement Aquasmart at the plumbing parts supplier.
I don't know how much the plumbing parts store charged Jemco but Jemco charged me $500 for the new Aquasmart, and $336 in labor and taxes, for a total of $836.
Replacing the Aquasmart still did not solve the problem. Repairmen from Jemco came back two more times.The additional charges were more than $200.
I contacted the company that makes Aquasmart and they honored their warranty, and arranged for me to get a new Aquasmart from their factory. It arrived several months later and I picked it up myself at the parts supply store.
I arranged to return it to Jemco, and drove to their home office. But the owner was only willing to pay me $99 cash. I rejected that offer because I believed I was owed $500, plus labor, since the replacement of the thermostat alone did not fix the heating system.
I am stuck with a brand new Aquasmart thermostat which is of no use to me. But Jemco won't refund my money in return for this new part, which they could use to repair someone else's gas furnace.
For this reason, I can NOT recommend Jemco to other Long Islanders who need to have their heating system repaired during an emergency.
Well they finally arrived to 'fix' the problem. And it is fixed. BUT I WOULD SUGGEST TO ANYONE/EVERYONE to avoid this company when looking to do a Natural Gas conversion. The support is NOT in place for the Natural Gas area of their business.
