Home Depot sent them out to install a dishwasher. They tried to charge an additional $380 to install a ""T fitting"" and 2 new shut off valves after Home Depot told us all installation would be included. We told them to leave. Additionally, they wouldn't wear shoe coverings in our home and wore their masks under their nose.

If anyone else wants to complain to Home Depot, the correct department is Market Delivery Operations at 240-258-9023. I filed a formal complaint against this company. Home Depot confirmed that two valves are not covered by their installation fee, only one valve is covered, and they would refund me installation if I want to get my own plumber. Home Depot said they are the only plumber that is contracted for our area, and it seems like JEG knows it.

Our plumber installed it by just replacing the hot water valve required for the dishwasher, and he said the second valve was fine and isn't even used by the dishwasher. This would have been covered by the Home Depot installation, so it seems like this company is making up issues to pocket extra money and overcharging for their made up issues.

Same story as everyone else. Came for a Home Depot install of an oven, removed my old one and then insisted on $500 cash to do the install on top of what I paid Home Depot. Additionally they spoke very derogatory of my in Spanish not thinking I understand (my tenant is fluent and told me everything they said) and as I was asking some additional questions about the install which I had paid for they blatantly ignored me then even hit my shoulder as they were leaving the kitchen - which is always inappropriate - but even more so when I'm pregnant.

They brought in the new stove and refused to move it to the kitchen even though I paid for deliver and they had a dolly.

They are scam artists and incredibly horrible individuals. I blame Home Depot for even allowing them into my home.

JEG Plumbing does not even deserve one star. I bought a refrigerator from Home Depot in mid-December which was delivered to my house on December 27. The delivery guys said that a plumber would have to connect a new water hose before the new refrigerator could be installed. They told me not to worry, that there would be no additional charge, and that Home Depot would have a plumber out to my house within 48 hours to install the water hose and then the refrigerator. The following Monday, after I had not been contacted by a plumber, I called Home Depot to complain. They checked with the third party contractor (JEG Plumbing) and told me that the plumber had called my call phone on December 28 (not true) and had determined that I was not home on December 31 (also not true; my wife and I both work from home and were here all day on December 31). Home Depot then promised the plumber would contact me within 48 hours. Today, nine days after the refrigerator was left in my garage by the delivery crew, two JEG Plumbing employees showed up. They connected the new water line--something that I could have done myself, not rocket science--and then left. When my wife asked if they were going to install the refrigerator, one of them replied, ""That's not my job."" I called Home Depot to complain, and they said absolutely the expectation is that the third party plumbers they contract out with will install refrigerators after connecting new water lines. I can't tell you how disappointing this experience has been for me. To sum up, the JEG Plumbing, LLC employee lied about calling me to set up an appointment, lied about no one being home on December 31, and then opted not to do the work they were contracted to do. In retrospect it may be best that they did not install the refrigerator, because they probably would have screwed it up. is incompetent, cannot be trusted to do decent work, and should be avoided at all cost. I will post daily to make sure the message reaches the widest audience possible. I will also write a letter tomorrow to Home Depot detailing the experience and demanding that they drop JEG Plumbing from their list of third party contractors immediately. They can and should do better.Be forwarned--and trust me, I will Home Depot is hearing from me on the perils of picking shady third party contractors--steer clear of JEG Plumbing LLC. Unless you like wasting time and money.

Same problem as the other reviewers. I ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot, and the plumbers told me my water valve was leaking and it would cost $375. I had my plumber come in the next day, and he said there was nothing wrong with my plumbing. These people just want to scam me for more money since Home Depot only charges a small installation fee. HOME DEPOT NEEDS TO QUIT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Garbage . Bought new washer and dryer from Home Depot and paid for installation. These guys came out and tried to charge an additional $175 to cut out an already perforated hole in the drain pan. Furthermore, they just left after unhooking the old appliances and not hooking them back up. I call the ""boss"" and he didn't seem the care in the least. Do not use!

Purchased laundry machine from Home Depot and technician said plumber will come out to shut off the valve for free. Plumber came out and said $375 when paying cash and $390 for credit payment. The plumber said they don't work for free and contracted with Home Depot. Home Depot scam you. Be careful people.

We bought a dishwasher from Home Depot and paid for installation. The delivery guys drop it off and tell me they have to have a plumber come out. They send out these guys who want to charge me between $300-$375 to put in a dual valve. Why can't they use the line that is already there for the present dishwasher? A valve for $300-$375?! Highway robbery!! It doesn't take more than 30 min to put a valve in! Do not go with these guys! They take advantage of the fact that people want to just get it installed and have waited and are desperate.

Absolute scam. Home Depot contracts with this company to install appliances. We purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot. The HD techs claimed the valve was leaking although we had no water under the sink before or after their two minute visit. A week later HD sends these clowns out and suddenly the entire valve is ""bad"" and they want $260 to fix it and of course not covered in the HD install. $260? They must had have been smoking weed in the van. Not leaking then and not leaking now. Run as far away from JFG and HD as fast as you can.

Home Depot sent them to install a gas dryer. They were replacing a 4 year old gas dryer that had been properly permitted and installed in Arlington County.
A flexible gas line with a shut off valve was installed 4 years ago as was a flexible vent line. The company wanted to charge over $400 to ""lower"" the gas line. This is robbery. They are dishonest and try to charge extra at the delivery point. Patently dishonest. I checked Arlington County's code and our arrangement is within code.

Used as a home depot contractor. Three guys showed up yesterday and stated that it was impossible to install a 33.85 dishwasher under a 34 inch countertop. I contacted ARLO Builders 703.501.3822, and Alvaro had it in, by himself i might add, in less than 1 hour. Do yourself a favor and call Alvaro.
