Total cooks! Worst job I've ever seen. Plumber was called out for a backup up lateral isolated in the bathroom everywhere else in home was flowing. Plumber cut out square in the wall instead of pulling toilet to snake line. Charged elderly lady $1000 and left with line still plugged.

Jeff was extremely irritated when he spoke to me. Huffing and puffing to the responses I gave to his questions.
He didn't seem friendly, more of a (I have a job to do & I don't care anything about you as a human).
Every time I called with a question he was irritated and upset when answering. He acted like I knew what was going on... overall bad experience.
To top it off Jeff's worker left all the ""material"" that he was cabling for at my front door (poop water everywhere) SEE PHOTO..
if my apartment complex referred him again I would decline the service and ask for another plumbing company.

Superior customer service.
I genuinely appreciated being notified prior to the service technicians arrival.
I was able to coordinate accordingly and be prepared upon his arrival. Corey was prompt and courteous removing his shoes and wearing booties was an added bonus.
There was no upselling once the job had been completed. He was courteous and efficient.
This was especially reassuring to me because past experience with other companies is always meant with oppositions to add on and being pressured beyond the scope. From this point I knew I'd made the right decision in selecting Jeff's Plumbing.
Once the job was completed he took time to explain everything in detail that he'd completed.
It's rare in these days & times to meet customer satisfaction at this level.
So if you're in the market for any plumbing services give these guys a call. They offer a vast array of services and options.
You'll be happy that you did !

I contacted Jeff's Plumbing about a clogged sink at one of the vanity sinks. The lady who answered the phone said it cost $279 to unclog the vanity sink. I said that was expensive, but if they could resolve the issue, that would be great. I don't mind paying for professional work. They sent a tech out to take a quick look and said he unclogged the drain. He told me the PVC pipe was cracked, and they needed to open the drywall to fix the issue. I told them that I needed to get an official quote so that I could approve or decline the job. I never heard from them again, so I had to find someone else to fix the leak, but the sink was clogged again the next day. I asked Jeff's Plumbing to send someone back. They said they would charge $279 again. I told them it was unprofessional and that they should fix the issue since it was under 30 days. If you have plumbing issues, I suggest you look for other reputable plumbers in Sacramento.

I want to start by saying that there were many points along the way where I tried to give Jeff's plumbing the opportunity to do the right thing even after making some mistakes -- I always try to assume the best in people. But, they repeatedly lied to me and got hostile. I wish I had read the 1-star reviews prior to contacting them, but alas.

I recently purchased a duplex in Sacramento and inherited some tenants. After I asked, the tenants shared with me some of the outstanding repair issues they had including a leaky shower head, a loose sink faucet, and what sounded like a hard-water issue with the washing machine (among other non-plumbing things).
I contacted Jeff's plumbing. The initial call with the receptionist was great -- she said she would coordinate with our tenant to find a time that worked. I explained the issue we were looking to investigate and potentially repair. She said that the plumber would look at them and call me with quotes and if I chose to not have any work done, I would be charged a $97 diagnostic fee. And, any repairs I did have done would come with an emailed receipt/invoice. Great!
The day the plumber came, I heard nothing from the plumber. I texted my tenant to ask if the plumber was there; he said that he was. But, I never heard from the plumbing company. At this point, I could only assume that they were going to contact me with a quote the next day. I didn't think much about it.
The next day, I get a call from the same receptionist who told me that they needed to replace my shower valve and that it would cost $950 -- she asked if I wanted to proceed. This would require cutting open a wall behind a tiled shower, so I wanted to think about it. So, I told them that. She did not mention any of the other repairs (kitchen faucet and hard water). I assumed, again, things were fine.
A few hours later, I got a panicked text message from my tenant asking me why I was declining to do the repairs -- because the leaking shower had gotten MUCH worse and this repair was now critical not just a minor annoyance.
At this moment, I was incredibly confused:
a) I did not even know that any repairs were done at this point. I thought only diagnostics had been done.
b) The receptionist did not mention ANY of this when she had called to give me the quote.
Shortly after this, I got a notification that my credit card had been charged nearly $400.
So, I called them back to find out what was going on. This is when things went completely off the rails.
First thing I asked was: ""who authorized these repairs? I didn't.""
She began to tell me that I had, in fact, authorized the repairs. I explained that I was only expecting a $97 diagnostic fee. She then handed the phone to the owner, Jeff, who said that he thought there was maybe a miscommunication.
He handed me back to the receptionist to sort it out with her, who then began to tell a fabricated story of what had happened over the last two days (I could hear the boss, Jeff, in the background chiming in). This included that I had authorized any repairs, and that she had explained the other repairs to me like needing a whole house water softening system and that they had replaced the entire kitchen faucet.
When Jeff came back on the phone, he had a much firmer attitude and asked: ""Well, what do you want us to do about this?""
I just said: ""please fix my shower that you broke and that you did not have my authorization to repair.""
He snapped back: ""We're not fixing your shower.""
He did offer an olive branch here by offering attempt to re-replace a part on the shower and refund the charge for the repairs I did not authorize. I shared my appreciation for that.
But, I would still be in pretty crappy place if this doesn't work -- I may need to do $900+ of repairs (not to mention removing/replacing a shower tile wall; that won't be cheap either).
So, today, Jeff sent another plumber to repair that same part. And, I got a text from my tenant that this actually fixed the issue -- great!
At this point, I still haven't heard from Jeff's plumbing at all even though my tenant had told me that the plumber was clear that I would be getting a call as soon as the work was done.
I called them back.
I had the intention of paying for the work they did because, the reality is that if they had called me with the $400 quote I would have absolutely authorized the repair.
So, I offered: ""I will pay! But I'd also like to get an invoice for the work.""
The receptionist yelled at me and said ""you will NOT get an invoice"" and hung up on me.
I don't know what to say.
This wasn't just bad customer service, the fact that the owner of the business allows his employees to lie is pure disfunction. Do not hire them.

Overall, very pleased. They were able to get a technician out within a couple of hours. He solved the problem and cleaned up after himself. Price was reasonable. I hope I don't have to but I'll call them again if necessary.

Our toilet backed up in a rental, our property manager had them come out to hopefully fix the problem. Water would go into the tubs when the toilets were flushed. Creating a not so nice problem, A gentleman came out on 8/8 - within a few hours of them calling me and me confirming I would be there all day as I work from home. He did his best to fix the problem, but, unfortunately, the same problem occurred the next day. Again, our amazing property management called them immediately and they called me within a couple of hours. I answered, explained the problem (the same as yesterday) and said I would be here. They called me about 40 minutes later, and I had stepped outside for a break, I called back 7 minutes later and the receptionist woman refused to send anyone out, saying she called me twice (which is true) and ""they don't have all day"" to wait. Um... what?! 7 Minutes?! I told her initially, I would be here, and yesterday I told her I work from home. So now she tells me because I didn't answer they could come out tomorrow at the earliest. So..I guess we don't have a toilet or showers until tomorrow because I missed a phone call by 7 minutes... on something that should've been fixed the day prior. Pretty inconvenient especially with 3 children and a newborn. Whoever is answering the phones has to be one of the rudest people I have met. A stark contrast to the nice gentleman that attempted to fix our toilet yesterday. He's the only reason I gave 2 stars.

You're probably better off going with any other plumber but these guys. Horrible communication. Waited for 2 weeks for them to get back to me on the follow up for a job and finally had to email them again.
Asked for a morning appt and they gave me a 5 hour window to which I didn't even get any type of response of an estimate until the guy was on his way on the last hour of the window.
Horrible communication and punctuality. Better off trying a business that cares about customer satisfaction.

Jeff's Plumbing is in my contact list (speed dial, haha).
I am so grateful Thomas, was able to serviced my plumbing issues several times on my property. The speed, quality, reliability and reasonable cost provided by Jeff's makes them A-1 in my estimation.
D. R. midtown, Sacramento

We have used this company on two occasions: once for a water heater problem & most recently, to fix a leak & replace pipes.
In both cases, the work they did was fine but their customer service was absolutely terrible.
In the first scenario, the plumber showed up at our home in the height of the pandemic without a mask. I had to ask him to put one on, which he did rather begrudgingly, but then proceeded to wear it below his nose the entire time. I thought this was especially careless & disrespectful since we had a newborn in the house, which we had explained to him.
For the second job, which took multiple days, there was almost zero communication. After the initial assessment, they showed up & started digging in our yard without letting us know they were coming. Then with no explanation, just didn't show up at all the next day (even though the yard was all dug up), and on day three, they showed up & gave about 5 minutes notice that they'd be turning the water off (something that would have been useful to know in advance).
At one point, I called to ask what the plan was & was told Jeff would call me back. He never did.
Most astonishingly, even the receptionist to this company complained about how poor Jeff was at communicating & said that when she recently needed plumbing, she went to someone else because she didn't want to deal with his rudeness.
This company is incredibly unprofessional & I do not know how they are in business. I would not recommend them.
