We had a clog in our drain line which I already diagnosed. While they are very friendly and knowledgeable and confirmed my diagnosis was correct. I showed them everything i had done to clear the clog and where i believed the clog was. I explained what the problem was when I called for the service call, so they would bring the correct equipment. However, they did not have the larger snack on the truck which was needed. They had to go back to get the larger snake, which I paid for the additional travel time. They came back with the snake and cleared the clog in less than 10 minutes, as I had removed the toilet myself in hopes to minimize the cost. No such luck. They were at my home for appox .30 mins in total and I received a bill for close to $400. I was stunned at the cost to say the least. I called because i thought it was a mistake. Sad to say it was not. I wish they would have told me what the charges were going to be, as I would have shopped around and not have had them do the work. I did call and spoke to Jeff , the owner, and he very nice person. While they do great work and take pride in their work, what I told Jeff is the ""Value for the money equation"" is not where it should be. I would recommend them, only if you are good with paying their excessively high charges, They will do a great job. Just understand a high price comes with their great work. My suggestion would be to ask them what the job will cost before they start. In fact in their new commercial I think they say they will tell you how much the job will cost before they do the work. I highly suggest you tale them up on that as they told me nothing of what my job was going to cost.

When the tech first arrived and I showed him I needed leaky faucets in my tub fixed, he asked if the water ever froze in the winter. I replied it did if it went below 20 and stayed that way for two or three days. He started a lecture about how he can't work on a plumbing problem located on an outside wall without adequate insulation and I really needed to have the problem fixed. I kept telling him I just want the leaks fixed right now and he said if the water froze again after he fixed it, it would damage the new parts and their company would be liable... I was getting really upset because he wasn't listening and I started to tear up (it was a bad depression day). He saw that and stopped with the lecture and threw himself into fixing the problem. Finally.

The work done was top drawer. The lecture was NOT appreciated.

I had a toilet leaking upstairs that ran through the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom creating a lot of mold. Called Wilbur Plumbing around 9am and by 10am Greg was out at my house. Within a few hours the leak was fixed and the underlying issue was also corrected so no more worries. The fee did seem a bit excessive to me for the amount of time it took to fix the issue but when you think of the promptness of the service and the knowledge of what they are doing it balances itself out. I would recommend them and will use them again if I come across any other plumbing issues.

very prompt and professional. The fee charged just to come to the door was excessive. Especially when I had them come back to fix something and I was charged that fee again. It was a minor adjustment that took all of 5 min. I did not expect to have to pay anything for that service. Had it not been for that charge the rating would have been higher.

We asked Jeffrey's to come out and look at a leaking sink... After they arrived I asked for a quote he said about $125 I said no thank you and we still had to pay the $65 service charge. $10 and 20 min later I fixed it myself!

Came to our house to look at leaky shower. Gave estimate of over $1,000. I read up on issue myself, went to Fagers, and did the job myself for $150. Way overpriced.

we had a broken toilet that leaked causing damage to our house. within 2hr of calling, Greg the tech was at our house and a new toilet replaced within a few hours. Excellent customer service and great prices.

I do not live in the area; but I own a home outside of Harrisburg. My realtor uses Jeffrey Wilbur Plumbing regularly (in her own home and for other properties).

I had a leak from the water supply lines that are in the front yard; and the staff at Jeffrey Wilbur was great to deal with in a semi-stressful situation.

The office staff is super friendly and professional, as are the technicians! The work was done quickly and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely use them again if I have any issues!
