If I could give this company zero stars that's what they will get. Zero Stars...... I called this company on May 27, 2021 for my commercial business (restaurant) The original tech that came out had to call 2 other techs to come out and look at the job. I needed the produce sink with airgap, 4 comp sink and grease trap installed not an easy job. I know but it's a commercial business and I called a plumbing company who says they deal with residential and commercial plumbing. The 3 techs that came out said that I needed a permit thru the city and that it will take 5 weeks, Ok!? Cool. 5 weeks later on July 1 2021 I called and the lady who answered the phone said "" The permit guy is not in his office as soon as he returns I will have him give you a call."" Still have not talked to no one. I have called more than 15 times. Every time I call I get a lady who answers the phone just to say ""Let me check"", then comes back on the phone and says ""someone should call you back what's your name and number?"" I never received a response from absolutely no one. Come on Today as I write this review is July 14,2021 and to date I have not heard back from one single person from this company. Jeff the Plumber, you are not reliable, poor communication (NO COMMUNICATION) !!!!!!

Thanks to Jastal Plumbing for doing the job. Not only doing the not so easy job.... the same day but I never needed a permit to get the job done. Same day service and responsible and reliable. Call Jastal Plumbing!!!

I called and was quoted a price to have a dishwasher installed. After the job was complete, my bill was $100 over the quoted price. I immediately called and talked to the person who originally quoted me over the phone. She told me that she never gave me a quote. I then called the manager who told me I that I must not have heard the original quote correctly. This is a dishonest business. Save yourself a headache and call a different plumber.

I hired them to fix a busted sewer pipe to my house. A guy name Brian came out, gave a quote. Decent price, so I had him fix it. They left the side of my house a mess. Tore up my driveway and didn't attempt to make it decent to drive on. Every time it rained there was a huge deep puddle there. I had to fill it in with gravel. Secondly, he was supposed to cap a pipe and didn't. Called him about it, said he would come back and fix it that week, never did. I had to call them to send someone out to do it, and this was after the pipe flooded my basement again because he didn't cap it the first time. Thirdly, I am still hearing gurgling in the kitchen sink when the upstairs toilet is flushed. So I have to call them again. I think we may end up in small claims court. I would definitely not advise anyone to hire them.

Had a 8:00 am appointment. Still waiting on them at 9:00 am. We've used them in the past and they've done a decent job, but need to rethink hiring them for future plumbing issues.

Called up with an emergency...cannot leave a message. Filled out the online form to be contact immediately as we had a pipe burst. No one ever called or emailed. I called the office. The gum snapper on the other end was rude and nasty. Said she'd deliver the message. Still no one ever called me back. Hired someone else. Obviously they don't need the work.

Richard from Jeff the plumber installed a kitchen faucet for me this morning. He was on time, professional, and neat. He did the job quickly and very well. I would definitely bring these guys out for another job.

I was recently reviewing some papers I found at my 80-year old mother's house in Cuyahoga Falls. One of the things I found was a receipt from Jeff the Plumber. The receipt was old - dated 6/29/2014. So this review is far from 'timely' in any sense of the word. However, since it's still the same Jeff the Plumber....while not timely, the review is still meaningful. At least for me.

The receipt indicates the technician - Mike P - arrived at my mom's house at 9:10 am on Sunday June 29th 2014. The receipt also indicates that Mike was done and on his way out the door at 9:29 am. So he was there a total of 19 minutes. The description of work reads: ""Augered [aka snaked] toilet 6ft. Flushed several times. Seems to be ok."" That's it.

For that 5 or 6 minutes of actual service he provided, my mother was charged $204.95; $115 for the services call, $85 for the 'Sunday service charge.' And a fixed charge of $4.95 for ""MISC. TRUCK SUPPLIES"", which I have no idea what that could be since all he did was use the auger.

I get that plumbers are expensive; and I get that there are established rates and surcharges. But any company that can charge a (then) 76 year old woman (with obvious limited resources, which could easily be deduced from the size/condition of her home) that much money for that little actual work should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

Shame on me for not being there to help my mom with the needed repair; I live in Maryland and did not realize she had a backed-up toilet. Frankly, it would have been less expensive for me to drive round trip from Maryland, buy a snake at Lowes and complete the job myself, then it was to hire Jeff the Plumber. If only we'd known. So on behalf of my now-80 year old mother, who still doesn't realize the ridiculousness of the situation, thanks for nothing.

I called Jeff the Plumber in Akron to fix 2 clogged drains. I asked what their charges were prior to scheduling. I was told $120 for the first drain and "" $69 for the second hour of snaking"". I thought it reasonable for the possible time
involved. The plumber arrived at approx 12:45, cleaned the kitchen sink using 2 plungers ( 1 being mine), and cleaned the bathroom sink by cleaning
out the trap below. No tools other then a possible screwdriver were used in the bathroom. NO ""snaking"" was involved to clear the with drain. the technician even remarked that both sinks ""were easy fixes"".
The technician went to his truck at 1:15 to figure out my bill...which amounted to:
$189 for about 1/2 hour of work. I mentioned the discrepancy of the estimate I was given and he replied that 1 drain was $120, the second was $69. Told him he should mention this to the office when he returned as that estimate was not what I was told.
I called the office and explained the above and was told they will review the bill when the technician returns and get back to me. The more I thought about these charges the more I was upset. I called again and was told that ""the rate of charges are different depending on what they have to do"". Thus, 3 people gave me 3 different explanations of charges. I talked with someone
who may of been a manager and told him they misrepresented their costs and Id of called elsewhere if I was told 1 drain was $120 and the second $69, no matter the time involved. He was not willing to work with me to reduce the costs, and told him he'd lost a client.
Thus, I would NEVER recommend this plumber due to their misrepresenting
their charges at an exorbitant rate for service rendered. I would of been
satisfied with some rebate on service, but they were not willing to give any
positive customer service.
I contacted the BBB in the area to again give a customer review for this
business as they don't deserve anything positive.

I had a leaking Moen shower faucet, The tech came out and could not properly repair faucet, then destroyed the faucet, He went to his shop to get a replacement, did not consult me that new faucet was different, then installed it. I had to pay for entire faucet replacement because the service tech ruined what was there.
The next day I looked online to You Tube videos, Several repair procedures listed as options.
I wish I would have done that first, or at least the professional service tech, saving me the cost of the replacement.

Very disappointed. After spending money for a service man to tell me an estimate of labor hours would be 4 and when their estimators called back 6 days later, glad it was not an emergency, labor was estimated at 16 hours. Company refused to give me an answer why such a drastic difference. I can only assume since they choose not to explain the service man had no idea what he was doing or the estimator thought he could take advantage of a women, either way it is poor customer service.
