Jeff did a couple of jobs at my house, and I'm very happy with the work, with his responsiveness, his know-how. His prices are very fair, so he's also a good value.

Jeff reinfoced a sagging garage slider barn door. The track was loose, bolts were broken. The door is huge and very heavy. Jeff added some additional bolts, replaced existing bolts with larger onces, and the door now works great. It also looks good; Jeff took some extra steps to make the attachment points look like a professional installation.

Jeff also re-hung a porch swing, it was moved to a different location. He figured out a way to secure it, cut some metal to make brackets.

Jeff also dissuaded me from having him making a change in my electrical panel because he believed it to be unsafe. I respect his knowledge in that area.

I will definitely call Jeff in the future for any kind of home repair that exceeds my meager skills.

I needed some lights installed on my home and had a very short window to get them installed. I called Jeff, expecting to get a voicemail, but was pleasantly surprised when Jeff answered the phone.
I knew that I wanted motion-detecting lights, and purchased 4 different types from the store not knowing which would fit my needs. Jeff not only answered the phone, but before he was even committed to the job, he recommended a place to get the lights with a true warranty that was exponentially better. Next he agreed to fit me in for later that week.

Jeff arrived on time with his colleague, Roger, and inspected the job and the tools necessary. He made sure the lights were placed where I wanted them and worked to install them and make sure they worked properly. He even found a table in the corner of my attic that clearly had been up there prior to me owning the home over 20 years ago!

I've used Jeff twice more since my initial review, once for electrical work and once to repair a garbage disposal & dishwasher. He's honest, knowledgeable, does a thorough job, and has been able to fit me into his schedule fairly quickly. I would definitely call him again.

Let me start by saying I rarely do reviews. That said, I felt compelled to leave a review for Jeff of All Trades. After spending 6 months being delayed by contractors who said they would perform the work we requested, none of them had even started the job. I started to coordinate the job myself and realized quickly that I would need someone with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. I reached out to Jeff based on his online reviews. Not only was Jeff able to start the work needed within days, but he also acted as the general contractor for the job. He directed the stone installers and completed touch-ups after the cabinet and stone portion was completed. Jeff also did the plumbing and electrical himself! Amazing to find someone so honest, knowledgeable, and always on time, after wasting so much time dealing with people who led us on and couldn't handle what they signed up for. These are the tasks Jeff handled himself. Prepped site for cabinet and stone installation, disconnected and reinstalled plumbing for stone/cabinet installation. Removed and reinstalled dishwasher, installed new faucet and most kitchen plumbing, replaced numerous electrical outlets/switches, leveled stove. Jeff also did repairs unrelated to the kitchen installation. Everything Jeff handled was done with the utmost professionalism and at a very good price. Jeff also kept us updated daily throughout the process, with pictures and phone calls. I have already scheduled Jeff to handle some additional work at my home. I can't recommend Jeff enough for pretty much anything you need done in or around your home! A++++ !!

Jeff was the man to call when I needed my AC fixed. Even with a troublesome fan that didn't want to come off the motor, he got it done quickly and efficiently.

Jeff's a character!

First off, he picked up his phone on a Sunday night and talked with me at length about a handful things I needed fixed around the house.

He's very honest, dependable, and has a big heart. He's reasonably priced, and really cares about the quality of his work. Plus he loves dogs, and brought snacks for our dog (which she loved). He did leave the front door open one day while working, and we were scared that our dog may have escaped. But it turned out fine, and it never happened again.

For our family, it was all about turnkey service. Jeff understood that right away and worked on a bunch of stuff independently. He repaired a jacuzzi bathtub motor, replaced rotting deck boards, painted our front porch, installed a Nest doorbell, fixed the doorbell ringer itself, and patched up/painted a spot on our house that a rogue pressure washer chunked off with his wand set to obliterate.

Jeff's partnerships in the community also allowed us to take advantage and get really good prices on materials as well (which he didn't mark up like most contractors would). Jeff's silly and eccentric. He comes in like a whirlwind, so be ready for some energy. He's an honest, good guy and did a solid job with all the stuff we needed help with.

If I could go to give stars below I would!

A neighbor recommended Jeff. All I needed was a toilet reseated. So Jeff on the phone quotes me $100. Then he gets here and he says he needs to cut out a wooden ring which will now bring the total to $175.

So he gets in there and yes does the ring. And then he cracks my tank. And he says you now need a new toilet.

So I order a new toilet. It's in his way over here so he picks it up.

Guess what? He doesn't tell me he's going to charge me for assembling the new toilet... nor does he give me any credit for f*cking breaking my old one.

I'm on disability so when he finishes, he says his bill is $385!!!!

He never told me or said okay this will be more expensive. I'm on disability. His surprise was well over 1/4 of what my monthly income is.

He's a cheat, a liar, oh and he will spin stories around you for hours, and he's charging you for those stories.

Jeff ... you're a cheat. And you absolutely f*cked us over!

Jeff was a true professional who wouldn't leave until I was absolutely satisfied with the job he did. He hung two new light fixtures for us and then, as an extra bonus, he balanced and adjusted the drawers to our cabinets beneath the sink.

Very professional gets the job done efficiently. He is very honest and tells you what you need to get done and how to get it done. While looking in my attic for a potential new electrical project he found my HVAC had disconnections due to previously done work by the HVAC company that installed the plenum in my house. If you are looking for a very comprehensive and knowledgeable handy person to be able to get work done that's needed to keep your house viable for the next umpteen years call him. His prices are reasonable for the work and the knowledge that you get to make sure your house as well as your property is up to par and can succeed during hurricane season
