Jeff is a very nice guy but unfortunately he is way overbooked and his work was not the quality we wanted. He came out in December to fix a loose post on the gate and loose insulation under a door. He brought a slider to go under the door but it was the wrong size -- something he only realized after drilling holes in the door and taking it off its hinges. He put the door back and nailed the post back as a temporary fix but said he would need to come back later to fully replace the boards and fix the insulation.

But he never came back. We tried to get him out to fix the issues that created (the door now is often stuck and the post fell off the gate again the next day). He had to cancel on us three times in a row (once for weather but other times due to unavailability, after he already agreed to come out). After months of waiting we gave up waiting for him and now still are trying to find someone to fix these issues.

Beware! Jeff will manage to tell you within the first few minutes of conversation that he is #1 on Angie's list... but I have no idea how. I contacted him on a Monday for a door project that needed to be completed by the following Monday. I had a strict timeline that I informed him of right away. He drove by my property, inspected it, and accepted the job. We were supposed to be on his schedule for Friday. Friday came & went and no work was done. On Saturday, I asked again when the work would be done. He supposedly went shopping for the replacement door, but we ended up having to buy it ourselves. The door needed to be prepped for painting. Jeff took the door with him & said he would return it in the morning ready to paint. He did not. He showed up late in the afternoon on Sunday & started to prep the door then. The sun went down a few hours later & Jeff packed up to leave. When we told him that the job needed to be completed that night he screamed foul language at us & threw our door on the ground and drove away. The level of unprofessionalism he displayed was shocking.

Jeff came through for us on very short notice for an emergency job changing the locks at our house. SO grateful to him for his flexibility, promptness and excellent work. He has a can-do attitude and very much set my mind at ease during a very stressful time. I highly recommend him!

Jeff's a character!

First off, he picked up his phone on a Sunday night and talked with me at length about a handful things I needed fixed around the house.

He's very honest, dependable, and has a big heart. He's reasonably priced, and really cares about the quality of his work. Plus he loves dogs, and brought snacks for our dog (which she loved). He did leave the front door open one day while working, and we were scared that our dog may have escaped. But it turned out fine, and it never happened again.

For our family, it was all about turnkey service. Jeff understood that right away and worked on a bunch of stuff independently. He repaired a jacuzzi bathtub motor, replaced rotting deck boards, painted our front porch, installed a Nest doorbell, fixed the doorbell ringer itself, and patched up/painted a spot on our house that a rogue pressure washer chunked off with his wand set to obliterate.

Jeff's partnerships in the community also allowed us to take advantage and get really good prices on materials as well (which he didn't mark up like most contractors would). Jeff's silly and eccentric. He comes in like a whirlwind, so be ready for some energy. He's an honest, good guy and did a solid job with all the stuff we needed help with.

I love Mr. Jeff! He was responsive and super fast! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. Mr. Jeff was quick and painless. He worked around my schedule as best as he could. He was very efficient, effective, and easy going. He has such a great personality and got the job done. Shortly after Hurricane Ida, he reached out to finish my window repair. And boy, did he get the job done in a timely manner. I gave him a brief description of what I needed done and he got right on it. If there was an issue with anything, he was quick to think on his feet to find the best affordable option for me. He's super funny, too. Thanks, Mr. Jeff, you're awesome!

Jeff was relentless in making sure my ceiling fan was installed as I wanted. He also installed a microwave over the range and it looks great. He saved me from painting over a light fixture and made me paint the wall before installing, proving the customer is not always right. He was prompt and entertaining to boot.

Jeff has done some work for me in the past and has always been timely and helpful with whatever I need. It is a big boon in this city to have someone who shoots straight about their schedule and when they can get stuff done and then sticks to it. I called him this week because an outlet had gone bad in my house throwing out an entire circuit. He offered to come out the next day but told me it was something I could handle on my own. With Jeffs instructions I was able to handle the problem myself for about 4 dollars rather than paying him or somone else a lot more to come out. Jeff will help you find solutions first before worrying about his own bottom line. Highly reccomend.

Jeff is a one-man operation, so keep in mind that larger jobs may require some assistance. He made that clear immediately when I told him the job: installing a 18,000btu window unit. He said, ""How's your back?"" I called him a little before noon, I told him I'd be his assistant, and he/we got the job done that afternoon. Great sense of humor and a fun conversationalist - we worked well together and I'll call him again if I need assistance with a job or something done beyond my technical means. The fact that he worked me in the day I called was huge and unexpected.
