As a locally owned and operated company, Jeeves Handyman Services is proud to providing prompt and professional service to our clients. All member of our team possesses over 10 years of knowledge and is proficient in all aspects of home repairs. Our range of services includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, preventative maintenance, exterior projects, bathroom remodeling, and various other tasks.

Cassandra W.If I could give zero stars I would!!! I hired Jeeves to sand and paint the outside of my back entryway door. They arrived at 3:30 called me from outside front of my house then drove to the back talked to me regarding job. Started the job at 3:50ish by 4:10pm they were packing up ready to leave stating that it's starting to rain. WHAT!! When I inquired the small amount done on my door they stated it took a lot of time to sand paper around the window panes. I asked about the sander they had, the worker that could speak English told me it was broken!!!! WOW. I figured at least they could've sanded the bottom that was all wood. Then he told me I could purchase a $50.00 sander from Home Depot and do it myself. UGH!!! Then charged me $50.00 which was to be refunded after I complained to the companies manager. The manager was worse then the workers. I was lied to and brushed off. I haven't seen a penny of my money refunded and it's been 2 weeks. DO NOT USE JEEVES FOR ANYTHING!!! THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!! Believe the bad reviews or you will be joining the unsatisfied customer club. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau on them.
Follow up on previous review. In addition to the fact that the handyman took too long to finish the project and overcharged, they double charged us and it took more than a week to refund, even though we asked that they overnight the check. They sent it late and regular mail. Worst customer service. DO NOT use.
Yvette W.I hire jeeves to paint my bathroom he came out he was late, and then had to leave to get the material from home depot my appointment was a 1:30 pm he came back 45 minutes later I was at work husband was home long story short he paint the bathroom the wrong color didn't touch the base board miss spots on the work . my husband confronted him he call the office and told the manager Mark he felt threatened he left and stuck a bill for 475.51 to the front door I will never ever use this sorry company again. Mark was very nasty don't deserve a star they suck.
I responded to an email reminder about my appointment after it was completed. I received a call from Melissa. I called back, but since Melissa was out I spoke I spoke to a man.He said he would get back to me and I never heard from him. I called back and spoke to Melissa and after telling her about my dissatisfaction she said she would talk to the technician and get back to me. It is 6 days later and guess what no call from Melissa.
STAY AWAY FROM JEEVES
The estimate took 10 minutes. Quoted me a super high labor fee for a simple job. Asked for $35 fee before he left. How many $35 does this guy gets in a day? Negative star.
Do NOT use this company. Worst customer service, very rude. I agree with Anastasia regarding Mark, he has ZERO respect and tries to make you feel like you are in the wrong. Completely cut me off as I was explaining the situation with the technician.
Tech was scheduled to give an estimate and then just started the job! Then charged 3 hours for 1.5 hours of work! Seriously.
Never again.
What a joke. The owner asked my wife is talking to him when she wanted to explain the issue. Are they serious? 1 star is way too many. Please do jot use them unless you are flushing money in the toilet.
Anastasia G.Worst service and work you could ever imagine. The ""manager"" ""Mark"" has a horrible attitude and no customer service skills. Obviously, no concept of quality, either. Complete waste of time and money. Hired for 3 projects at my home and 2 out of the 3 were done improperly. The contractor that ""repaired"" my fence left long, sharp nails sticking out throughout the inside and outside of my fence (I have small children and a dog). They also left all the trash from the job in my yard which was a huge amount. They had to come out again and fix that.
The next horrible project was to fix the columns/posts in front of my house. Since they used the same lazy ""contractor"" that they did for my fence, that was done improperly as well. The seams started separating immediately and had huge gaps in them within 2 months. Three months later, the whole wood trim on that side just completely fell off.
I emailed, called and provided them with pictures throughout 2017 with no response to my emails and calls until one day I finally got them on the phone. ""Mark"" was completely unapologetic and rude on top of that.
I finally had time to file a formal complaint with the Maryland Department of Labor Licensing and Regulations. DLLR sent Jeeves a letter and only then did they contact me to make an appointment. They didn't even show up for the appointment, sent out a contractor days later without any notice to me and still screwed up the job in more ways than I have time to list.
People, do your research and ask friends for recommendations because Jeeves is your worst nightmare. Can't believe I actually had to pick a star instead of ""0"" to rate them.

I wish I had read the reviews before reaching out to Jeeves, but what I needed done was an extremely simple job with easy money for a handyman that would have taken about 20 minutes while charging a 2 hour minimum. My office is converting from a standard keyed doorknob to an electronic one with a keypad. We have the equipment, just needed someone to dismantle the existing professional grade lock and install the new one. Called Jeeves on Friday and scheduled the appointment window for this morning. Getting a convenient time was a hassle and that should have been my first clue. The woman on the phone kept suggesting times (all in the middle of the day no matter what day) and would get huffy when I would say, that's not a good time. It would have been easier if she had just asked me for a good time instead. The appointment window was 8:00-10:00 am for arrival. No show. I called at 11:30 and was told that the contractor was held up on a previous job and should arrive by 1 pm. At 3 pm , I called again and cancelled. No one showed up or called all day! Literally five minutes after I called to cancel, the contractor called directly to reschedule. No thanks, I've already moved on. One of the most unprofessional interactions I've had in awhile.
