Wow, looks like I dodged a bullet here upon looking this company up who I use years ago when I moved into my new townhome to do several odd jobs with no problem. However, to my surprise, I recently called them to do a job at my home and was hung up on by the first then I the second person my address and she tells me they are not interested in my business. I did nothing wrong to these people. I don't know what their problem is, but obviously somebody put some kind of note in the system about comple I didn't have any issues with these people unless they're out here, discriminating against people for no reason putting false allegations or notes in their system. They me a favor evidently looking at these reviews, they hire people who just hang up on people who have some kind of note in their system not to do business with them again and then when they don't hang up when you call back and actually speak to one of employees they don't give you any explanation as to why they're denying your service for no reason. Stay away from these people.

I requested Jeeves come to correct an issue on a shower door they installed seven years prior.The Handyman came and gave a quote of $350 to repair, which I approved. He worked on the shower door less than 20 minutes. I called the office, not to criticize the work but comment that the amount of work done amounted to more than $1,000 per hour. Several days later I received a $15 check from Jeeves. I returned the check stating obviously they need the money more than I did!

ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. They arrived 2 hours past their "" 2 hour window"" and did not come with the correct equipment AFTER I CONFIRMED TWICE with the customer service rep over the phone. I just needed a shutter hung and they did not bring a ladder tall enough. I even sent a picture notating that it was a third floor shutter. It is a 2 hour minimum of $340 to hang a shutter and was more than happy to pay that and for them to do one other job. They were going to charge me for the smaller job and again the $340 minimum to come back out and hang the shutter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Taskrabbit took care of it same day and 1/2 of the cost.

do not criticize people at the front office for misleading you or giving you really bad information about the cost and the time it's going to take. They canceled me because I questioned, a bit loudly, why they would do such a terrible thing when I had done so much to prepare. Very customer unfriendly in the front office. The technician was fine.

Had a shower replaced and suffice it to say will never use Jeeves again. This was a few years ago before I knew about Yelp which is why I am just posting this. I really hope people see this and not get snowed by their advertising. If you see an ad in a magazine or circulation ignore it.

Use another service PLEASE!!! Gabby the scheduler is rude and nasty. They don't treat you like a valued customer, they treat you like you owe them before they even start working. I see why their reviews are so low.

Had my loose siding repaired about six months ago. It took only 15 minutes but they charged me for two hours because it's their minimum charge for any work. All he did was place several nails to hold the siding. Now the same siding came off again. They do poor quality work and over charge customers. Do not recommend.

I recently used Jeeves Handyman Services in Virginia and I was very pleased with them from first contact through completion of the job. The price was reasonable for the services performed. The initial call was answered promptly and courteously by a knowledgeable person who booked the appointment. I received an email confirming the appointment. The handyman arrived on time with tools. He was experienced and knowledgeable about the work to be performed. He was very friendly. I was pleased with the results. Jeeves gives you 48 hours to let them know if you have any problems with the work. I recommend Jeeves in Virginia.

Do not under any desperate circumstances do you lower yourself to Jeeves. There are ""many"" more reputable and professional ""handyman"" services. This handyman service company doesn't provide qualified contractors that are professional nor reliable. The company overall lacks substance or ethical responsibility to its customers that receive poor service - poor quality - poor workmanship - and accountability for overall workmanship as well as warranty for all above noted. Bottom line is to provide whoever is available. Subtractor (3 rd person identified) was horrible, lack qualifications, tried intimidation methods to get paid for 1 hr (unfinished & horrible work) effort that was estimated as - 4-hr job. He actually locked to bathroom door to prevent owner to check on work as well as got aggressive when informed that he did not remove old grout to install new grout on bathroom shower walls. Owner had to request him to exit home multiple times which was very scary! Do not use this company for any work ... you are better off to pay more to get professional & quality work.

If I could've put 0 stars I would. This is the lowest quality ever. I just needed to install 2 doors, while they installed the doors, it literally took them 3 days instead of 1.5 day as promised. I found so many things for them to get fixed after they have asked me to accept the job.

Will never hire the company again. The value for the job is not worth the money.
