I'm a DIY kind of a guy but ran into a challenge when redoing my bathroom. When I pulled out my old toilet, I saw the closet flange was cracked badly and realized I was probably lucky I was replacing the toilet in the first place. In trying to remove the flange myself, I quickly got to the point that the original install was not what it seemed at all and in fact thought I had totally messed things up. Redington to the rescue! Rob H was my plumber and he jumped right on it in identifying what was different in the installation and then what was needed to make the repair. He was highly efficient, pleasant to work with and kept the site clean. I was billed exactly as I was told and expected (but for a 1/4 hour LESS than what I thought!) so will be using them again for future needs for sure.

J.E. Redington Plumbing, is the BEST! Unknowingly he brought his crew over to repair my water meter, but on his first visit he saw that I had a problem with my gate and Jeff Redington and Tim Moore got busy with his drill and screws and repaired it for me the gate while his crew was in the basement repairing the water meter. Jeff said on his first visit he did not know whether to stay or leave because of my dog's, but he stayed!!! Thank you! Tim Moore asked me if I was Paula, I told him that Paula was my baby sister and they would be at Saints Skating ring. Before they left I asked the man in the beige pants his name and he told me Jeff Redington, I said you're the owner! I asked if I can pay them for the repair and he refused!!!!! They both said that my smile is enough! After they left I went in my basement and only Andy was their. I loudly said they all left without getting paid. Andy said their are still a few good people here! Thank you Jehovah! I asked Andy could I pay him, he refused also. I cried and prayed and I Andy Jehovah used him to help bless me with J.E. REDINGTON PLUMBING!

Scheduled a visit for an estimate to run a water line to a refrigerator and install a drain pipe from my HVAC to the exterior corner of the house and a couple other things. The gentleman who visited was very polite and helpful. Everything after that is absurd. A WEEK later I finally get the estimate where not only did they not list the parts/labor for the estimate, and break them down per task which I specifically asked them to do. They also didn't even include the two other things I asked them for quotes on. But the best part was their unbelievable estimate of $1255 to take $75 of parts and at best two hours of labor.

Buyer beware!!!! This is the first review I have ever given. I wouldn't recommend using this company. If you chose to do so, MAKE SURE YOU GET A QUOTE IN WRITING BEFORE YOU LET THEM START!! Do not let them go by the hour.

Now my story... I called the company and ask if they could come bid a job for me. The guy on the phone said he could do it over the phone. I asked for an 80g water heater to be removed and a 6g installed. I needed the 6g water heater to be put in the air. Then I needed new plumbing run to two fixtures because of a leak. I was quoted around $1000. When the plumbers showed up, we went through what was needed. They advised they weren't aware the water heater needed to be put in the air and that would be extra. It was clear he didn't want to do this and that's when the employee started with his big attitude problem. I asked for what the new price would be. He advised about $1200 but it would be by the hour. I wasn't happy but I said ok. Within the first hour, they turned off the electric and the water and took 3 smoke breaks. Within the first 2.5 hours they only had the old water heater out. It wasn't in a hard place but in a large open closet. After 6 hours they only had the water heater installed and none of the other work complete. The plumber came and got me and said he was done. I asked about the other work and he said it would be extra. I said to just stop and I was done wanting anymore work from them. The plumber asked why, I explained my issues and that's when he got very angry. I said please give me the bill and I would talk to the office/owner and then send a check. That's when he flew off the rails and cussed at me and stormed out. (I have video of this) The bill was over $1,300 and the second half of the job wasn't completed. FYI The water heater cost $250 from the store. Called the owner, owner let me get 3 words out and then told me his guys story and didn't want to hear anything else from me. I said ok I would pay the entire bill and post my reviews. He hung up on me.

Just beware if you decide to use this company.

In preparation for getting our house ready to sell last year in Fenton we bought a new bathroom countertop and two new faucets. J.E Redington Plumbing installed all of the new items quickly and with no issues. He showed up on time and left absolutely no trash behind. Our new fixtures and countertop looked great! I would highly recommend as it can be hard to find a reliable plumber.

I've referred them to friends, family and other business partners and never had a complaint. Five starts all the way.
