My journey in construction began at 15. I worked summers hauling lumber for a framing team. At 18, I began my journey as a pipe fitter apprentice. I progressed through the ranks over five years in commercial mechanical piping to become a first-class fitter. At 25, I transitioned into plumbing. Noticing little difference in trade applications, I embraced the chance and have dedicated the last 20 years to becoming a highly skilled and knowledgeable plumber. I have seen many tradesmen who were only skilled in one or two plumbing areas. I feel that a genuine master of the trade should possess a well-rounded skill set and applicable experience to support their title, rather than just knowing the codes.
