JDR PLUMBING IS THE BOMB! Reached out to him regarding a clogged sink and he responded to my inquiry within 10 minutes and followed up with a call when he finished the job he was doing and came out within a hour! He came in and immediately greeted my grandmother who is unable to communicate verbally, assested the situation and got to work. Reasonable pricing of $89.00 and a 30 day warranty, without any GIMMICKS! I will definitely be keeping his information and be referring him! Had our kitchen sink back up on a holiday weekend Friday night when we couldn't get ahold of our landlord. Found JDR on Yelp and Juan responded within five minutes to our quote request. Saturday morning, we set an appointment, and he showed up on time, did a quick job of taking care of the problem, left the place spotless and charged a very reasonable flat fee for the work. No surprises, no hidden charges, and he was quick, thorough and friendly. He even gave us some advice on how to keep the 90-year-old pipes in our building from having more problems. Will gladly call him again for any plumbing work we might need. Seems like a nice guy, too, which is always an added bonus.

Visiting my 'older' ESL parents in Torrance and we found all drains were stopping up. It was 9:30pm and we needed to get this taken care of.

I started yelping, and found many 1-5 stars, with mixed reviews, and I didnt want to leave my parents with more problems than they already had.

Found Juan at JDR and contacted him via Yelp Quote. He replied in 10 minutes. He said he was able to come right then for $200 minimum, but we had to leave anyway and scheduled for 8am the next day. I had mentioned the main drain line in my RFQ and he came back with $89. From past experience elsewhere, I told my parents there might be some add-on so don't be surprised.

Messaging was smooth and respectful, and I left feeling good. Next morning, he texted his ETA within his window, cleared the drain, and called me letting me know the results - all for $89 as quoted.

I asked him about other possible issues and he tested the water pressure and said it was way too high, and we will be scheduling that fix later.

Now I know who to call for any plumbing issues they have. Juan at JDR!

My review would not be doing him justice, but Juan is one of the best plumbers I've seen around. Professional? Friendly? Fair and honest price? Check Check Check! Added bonuses, he is punctual and very diligent in communicating what he is doing, and kept the work area clean. He took care of a clogged pipe and a leaking toilet without any problems. He doesn't play games with the price like some people do. He does a great job communicating tips.

I highly recommend JDR plumbing -- their work is excellent, completed on time, and reasonably priced.

I received a quote from JDR plumbing for 5 plumbing repairs I needed. This included a new garbage disposal and kitchen faucet, replacing a shut-off valve behind a toilet, the trim pieces and flex line, and the ballcock in the toilet (this was a special low-profile part).
There was additional work in the shower, as well as replacing a leaking valve and gas line to my water heater.

The quote was reasonable -- among the lower quotes I received. JDR plumbing quickly completed all the needed work with excellent results. The plumbing which was replaced around the garbage disposal made the area under the sink look clean and tidy, a huge improvement over the old pipes that were replaced. All their work was like this -- things looked excellent and worked perfectly.
