JDB Construction, Inc is an excellent company to work with for both small and large jobs. Jordan and his team did a roofing heat tape project and they did an excellent job. Jordan was up front about he would only take the job if he could complete it in the short time frame we requested. He worked several weeks in what was at times very cold conditions. The job was done on time, on budget and he was very thorough in completing the work and communicating all the way through the project. He provided progress and final pictures along with TOML permit cards for future reference. I highly recommend JDB Construction, Inc.

JBD did a great job removing a damaged greenhouse from our rear deck. The job was done on time and they did a worked hard with cleanup and taking good care not to damage the decking underneath the structure. I received lots of photos showing me the status of the work as the job progress and I'm thankful the job was done before this winter season really sets in!

JDB Construction came through for me to get me through another winter. I had some snow damage to the eaves on the first floor roof during last seasons heavy snow. I tried all summer/fall to get a roofer with no luck. Jordan's workers were working down the street doing the same roof stabilization I needed in early November 2023. I called Jordan and he got back to me right away. He gave me an estimate and his workers came after finishing down the street and did just what was needed. The eaves were jacked up to the normal level and is solid to get me through the winter. I would definitely use him again.

JDB construction has been great! They were able to do some repairs to my home in Mammoth Lakes that occurred as a result of the 2023 snowpack. They are responsive to my calls, completed the work quickly and are professional and friendly. I will be using them again.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I wish I could leave negative stars. Rushes you for payment/deposits then disappears!! When questioned on job status/timeframes he becomes very HOSTILE (especially to women). I wish I had never wasted my time as it is now almost winter and I still need a roof. He also passes off his issues to the client (his garage door guy disappeared with deposits, so no garage door was even ordered yet he thought he still deserved his mark up for his ""running around""). His workers are clueless (threw away our deck hand railing and replaced with 2 x4s!). If you want to be strung along and deal with someone who has no idea how to manage a job-site then this is the guy for you!

In the past year I wrote a positive review for Jordan Burroughs and his extended work on my home. His reassurance he would be available to take care of my needs in the future, was a great comfort to me with winter approaching. Jordan was honest regarding a cosmetic log which was repaired, that could possibly be dislodged again, and that he would take care of the repair, if needed. I greatly appreciated his honesty, and the work that had been done.
Unfortunately, after I experienced problems at my house, along with the log which was referenced was displaced, Jordan provided sporadic communication with repeated ""no shows"". It was a difficult winter for all of us, however after being ""ghosted"" from Jordan on several occasions, I compiled an email stating my concerns with the lack of correspondence and action to take care of my repairs. I asked if his intent was to return to my home to work with me, as promised. Below is the introduction to his responding email.

""I am sorry but it is 100 percent my decision to call you, talk to you, or work for you, I have decided at this time I cannot help you with any repairs from snow and ice needed at your property.""

In my responding email, I stated that I was taught you treat people, the way you wish to be treated. Unfortunately, Jordan was not raised this way, both personally and in business.

Jordan remodeled our entire upstairs apartment, adding in a kitchen, countertop, and bathroom. He did a fantastic job. He and his employees were respectful and a big help in design the space. We already have him lined up for our next remodel!!!! I highly recommend him and his team!

We've hired Jordan to work our Mammoth property multiple times. Work has included new doors, electrical, chimney wraps, exterior duct enclosures, paint, new wall construction etc. Jordan has always been transparent. Even when we had work done during COVID, he was honest and transparent about his labor availability. Jordan went out of his way to even meet with us in Orange County when he was passing by to go over additional details. Every time I've wanted to change a small detail, Jordan has always come back and addressed it. If anyone is interested in seeing the quality of his work in person, please private message me.

**WORST EXPERIENCE EVER**

We have done a lot of remodeling and have worked with various contractors in the past, so we understand how the process works and do realize that everything doesn't always go as planned.  But JDB (Jordan) has been so **UNPROFESSIONAL** and we are still dealing with him over 6 months later.  **DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY**

We initially reached out to multiple contractors to remodel 3 bathrooms in our Mammoth condo rental.  Our timeline required that the job get done before the winter season started.  JDB was one of the contractors we talked to, but his quote was quite expensive so we let him know that we didn't wish to move forward with his bid.  He reached out to us (even after I had let him know that I would be unavailable being on a family RV vacation across the U.S.).  He insisted he could and would get the job done in our time frame and gave us a guatanteed completion date.  He also offered (on his own) to pay a daily fee each day he went beyond that date in attempt to get our business.   Even with the higher cost we agreed to move forward based on the terms he gave us.  He went 45 days past the guaranteed date causing us to cancel multiple reservations and major loss in revenue.  Jordan then proceeded to say the job was complete even when major items were missing (shower doors).

Upon final completion **45 DAYS LATE** we had another conversation about the daily fee owed to us.  He made excuses including Covid (keep in mind we hired him 6-9 months into the pandemic already starting). In an effort to settle in a professional manner we offered him a lesser amount due payable to us which HE REFUSED.  He then tried to flip the matter on us saying he was owed more money for gas expenses for picking up goods and additional hours worked (all which should have been accounted for in his quote). 

Since our discussion he has hired an attorney and has filed a mechanics lien on our property which is totally uncalled for given the fact that he owes us money and he refused to settle.  We have now spent thousands of dollars in our own legal fees all because he will not follow through on a deal he made.  **THIS WAS ALL IN CONTRACT AND WE WILL CONTINUE UNTIL AMENDS ARE MADE**

Update: We have gone through mediation with the State Contractor's License Board and are currently being reimbursed gradually by JDB construction for the damage/work. Will post an update here once the reimbursements are complete by JDB.
