I would highly recommend staying away. He always said, I'm a man of my word. Nothing he said worked out. He was always asking for advances and then left me in the lurch -- and I've had to hound him to get my money back. And he still owes me money. There's plenty on contractors out there, don't use him.

I had J&D Home Innovations paint out a couple bedrooms, bathrooms, and a hallway and they did a really good job. Israel and his team were very professional, polite, and actually showed up when they said they would. They were very good with the details of my job and I appreciate that. We're very pleased with the results, and would not hesitate to use them on our next project.

This contractor was awful! He said he'd be here at 8 a.m. then texted that morning to say it would be 9 a.m., showed up at 9, then said he and his workers were going to Denny's for breakfast. Finally started working at about 10:30 a.m. he had a kid helping him that had never laid flooring before and it looked awful. It hadn't even been locked together upon removing it.

I had to pay someone else to come in and re-lay the flooring. They wasted so much flooring, I had to buy 7 more boxes at $4/sq.ft. Terrible experience.

We are remodeling our laundry which contained a half bathroom into a separate 3/4 bathroom and laundry. We had the plumbing moved around by another company (Evolution Plumbing). Israel, Chris, JT and Israel's brother (did not get his name) installed a pocket door, built the divider wall, waterproofed our new shower area and leveled the floor. My wife and I are going to do the finishing parts (tiling, painting, drywalling and flooring) to save money by providing sweat equity.

Israel and his crew are great people, and provided excellent service. They did a fantastic job, and the structure looks great. Israel always does respond when you ask him a question, and is very flexible in what he will do and will listen to you about what you want. He has an excellent eye for building, and does the job right by making sure that things are built well. His pricing does seem fair, and Israel and all of his crew are polite and had great manners. They also did clean up well, and the site was broom clean once they were done. Since there would be some dust, I did ask him to close the doors to contain the dust, and they did just that. I do not know for sure if they would have been mindful enough to do that on their own, but I assume that they would have. In addition, they know their own limits and can recommend tradesmen when they can not perform a certain aspect of a job, for example electrical work.

The only negatives I have for them is that they might take longer on a job than anticipated. Israel thought it would be a 2 day job, but it dragged out to 3 days of work. He was also a day late with his initial estimate too. For us this was not horrible, but if you are on a very tight schedule you should probably let him know so he can plan accordingly.

Finally, I would recommend J&D Home Innovations to anyone who is looking for some remodeling. They are honest, fair and great to work with. Thanks again Israel!

My wife & I live in San Diego, and we were devastated to learn of the unexpected death of my brother in Utah. Israel was the ONLY remodel person who replied to me in my time of need, to secure the home of my brother, and he provided COMPASSION and he provided the EXACT work my wife and I needed!!!! THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEAL!!!! He is the holy grail of contractors. I was amazed by his professionalism, attention to detail, and his promptness. Israel responded to my many messages in record time and was super accommodating with scheduling. I only requested he do touch up paint on our base boards and he painted THE WHOLE THING! They look better than when we first got them. His caulking technique is so clean and the finished product is truly amazing.

We had gotten our floors redone, and as a result our base boards were pretty torn up. After deciding to keep the base boards we had low expectations on what the final result would look like. Israel took the time to carefully caulk around the baseboards and repainted the whole thing. They look brand new!!! I cannot thank Israel enough, and plan to work more with him in the future.

Very great company to work with. We needed some framing done to start finishing the basement. They were in communication very quickly, gave us a fair bid, and were ready to come do the job in a short amount of time. They professionally showed up on time, did a great job very quickly and left the area cleaner than they started with; you'd never even know they were there. I highly recommend this business. I bought a front door and simply needed a professional installation of that door.

Communication: We texted back and forth, I sent him pictures and he was very prompt in answering ALL of my questions.

Reliability: He came to my house when expected, made no excuses and just got to work! The demo was fast, the install took some time but got it in. He had to come back, but EVERYTHING remaining was done to Perfection! Door closes well, locks good & NO air penetration in to the house.

Honest: He offered a free estimate and stuck to it, although my job was much more difficult than he and his crew estimated. He didn't try to upsell or give me ANY B.S. about why it's now going to cost more.... I watched how difficult my project was to them, and they did not complain! How Awesome & Professional!

Respectful: He explained the extra things that he and his crew had to do to fit my door, I have an older home, so that was great. They Always swept up after themselves and were very polite/professional to me and my family!

He spent SO much time making sure everything was perfect.... I actually thought he was working on his own house. Haha! Israel is a true Diamond in the Ruff!

Will definitely utilize Israel and J & D Home Innovations again!

Israel came out to give me an estimate.
Loved his communication and upfront honesty about what he'd commit to doing and what was out-of-scope for his services. Also really appreciated he didn't try to up-sell, or make things seem harder than they were.
He also gave me advice on things I could do myself. If you have a job and need upfront advice and a reasonable estimate, definitely give this guy a call!
