very unreliable!!! will not answer calls or text after starting the job over a week ago. owner said he would return with the washing machine part and now will not respond. wasting our time all for a no show

Cancelled the first time, second time, he said he was on his way but never showed up or text or called. Only heard from him again after I gave him a bad review. Would never recommend him.

I chose J&D for his prompt response to Yelp request.
Service was set up but J&D never showed.
I had asked for communication if there were issues. I was told of issues only when I reached out to J&D an hour after scheduled service time.
Then last scheduled service day has came and passed, I still have not heard from them.

The company has many services I need including installation of a
sink and appliance repair.

Highly Recommend! Our dryer quit working over the weekend and we first tried to schedule a repair through the manufacturer's website. We waited several days for a response only to be told that there would be a ridiculously high scheduling and additional labor cost for someone to just look at our machine. Luckily we started looking elsewhere and found J&D Handy Service. They responded quickly to my Yelp inquiry, answered all my questions before scheduling, and were available to come out the next day (without a scheduling fee). Upon arriving, it was clear that Dave had vast knowledge of the dryer and common problems with the machines. He was more than willing to explain everything he was planning on doing to test and find the problem. He explained the price point for each of the possible issues and it clearly showed that he was trying to do what he could to get us the best price. Luckily with his hard work, he was able to fix our dryer without even having to order another part. And for less than the other company's minimum! I will be calling them again for any appliance that breaks in our house!
