Had some work done and was not given a price until everything was complete, I thought it was obvious that I would need an estimate to make sure I could afford it, but I guess I should've asked ahead of time. Feel like I was taken advantage of. Make sure you ask him for a price before he does any work.

Joe was doing work at the business next door to my business, and I told him I had a problem with my toilet. He took a look at it, went to the hardware store to get what was needed to fix the problem, and completed the work the same day. When he was done I asked if he could come to my house and replace a sprinkler valve. He came the next day and replaced two sprinkler valves.
