I've had two previous jobs from other companies fixed by JCP&H. I should have learned my lesson the first time. Not sure why the low stars, surprising to see. Both my toilet (done 8 months ago), and and my new kitchen sink/faucet (finished a few days ago) are done super clean. They even cleaned up the mess they made in front of my condos. Victor is a pro. These guys all day.

Hi I just want to let you know I did do my research sooo to change a kitchen faucet and angle stops underneath the sink the best quote was JC plumbing, I did call Hoa and you need 48 hour notice to shut off water, they do a courtesy printing of letting homeowners know and turn off the valves and they are familiar with our building cause Hoa uses them so the quote is $385
I called courtesy plumbing they quoted me $455 and the core plumbing was $650 sheesh... Jc plumbing is great as
Well cause I live in a
Condo and I have to put up notices 48 hours in advance and Jc plumbing did it for me as
Well in the whole condo building, Tim the plumber was professional, friendly, and nice as well, he practiced social distancing with wearing a mask and also wore booties over his shoes in my
Condo, the service was fast and job well done thank you will go to them again if need plumbing service

I tried several times to get them to give me a quote and finally had to give up because although they kept telling me they would call me back once they talked with the correct technician, they never did. After 3 attempts, I called someone else.

My condo had an upstairs unit pipe leaking down to mine, the HOA called it in and it took JC Plumbing 1 1/2 days to come see it. The water damage was so extensive that the HOA hired another company not JC Plumbing to demo the closet areas drywall and texture and was later going to be reinstalled through the HOA. HOA rehired JC plumbing since they also have a Restorations Company, they were to install insulation, drywall, and texture to the closet and a partial bedroom wall. Hector the manager said it would take 1 1/2 days to finish it, it took 1 entire week and had to be calling him to get updates, not very good at communicating with home owner.

They helped us by fixing all the violations made by the contractor's crew for our kitchen remodel. They were at the house in short notice to fix everything from aeration, to water lines, to gas leaks! Victor rocks! Knowledge, patience, customer service, dedication...
THANK YOU!!!

First off, I can see why you would attempt to discredit my review as a possible fraudulent one. Let me assure you that I did contract your company as you already know and if you truly cannot decipher Rudy is my nickname then you should stick to plumbing, and leave the thinking for people more suited to it. Now let's address the fact that this con took place close to 3 years ago and you are just now addressing it. One can only come to the conclusion you must have lots of free time from 9 am to 9pm, as to why, one can only speculate that your target demographic has seen your company for what it truly is and is contracting a company with business ethics and morals(not yours). Secondly, you quoted over the phone a valve for a shower, and your plumber replaced a valve for the shower. So why then would there be such a large disproportionate quote from one person to the other? Anyone can begin to see the con play out in this recollection of events. I have conducted business with multiple agencies and companies who charge you for the service they provide. Unlike you, who by your own admission quote and charge for the plumbers expertise and abilities(glad it does not require a masters degree). I would highly agree with you that people should contact other companies who do free quotes and would quote you with integrity and maintain it throughout the entire business transaction. Unlike you, who claim your time is too important, but even a lawyer would give you a free consultation. You reveal your inept ability to provide ethical business with a statement such as that. Many people who have conducted business with your company must see what I see and your average review score reflects it. I could see if I were the only 1 star review that you may chalk it up to a discrepancy on one customer but multiple people from multiple time frames cannot not all be wrong.

In December 2017 JC Plumbing & Heating installed an external air conditioner and repaired attic ducting, hired by our HOA to replace damage done by a falling power pole.

The new air conditioner stopped working in July of 2018, and the company asked for $189.50 to come out and check their work. We declined, and hired another company. The tech found that JC had not used eletrical connections (or even electrical tape), but had duct taped wires together, leaving stripped wire areas uncovered (picture #1). The shoddy workmanship was the cause of the failure, and the external unit worked fine. I personally watched the tech, and took the picture myself.

The tech noticed cold air coming from the attic, which our tenant investigated. We were appalled but not surprised when we found that the new duct work was not secured, and the ducts had been taped together. In the 6 months since installation, the ducts had literally fallen apart, leaving them unconnected (picture #2). This obviously is unsatisfactory and caused the AC system to be very inefficient and expensive in power utilization for whatever cool air actually made it into the house.

BOTTOM LINE: Do not hire JC Plumbing and Heating. They do not back up their work, and do such a poor job that you will need to redo it.

I have now had JC Plumbing & Heating come out to my condo for repairs 3 times and I cannot say enough good things about them. When I first started calling around for a plumber, this company was one of the only ones who actually answered their phone and responded to my request immediately. Each time I have booked them, they have given me a time to expect the plumber plus a courtesy call that the plumber is on his way. Both Jose and Aaron have done repairs and inspections in my condo and their professionalism, work ethic, and respect has been astounding. They took pictures of everything they found and replaced, and emailed me a full report after the service was completed. Due to the fact that my neighbors above and below me all share a common water line, they always check in with the neighbors after doing work to see if it caused any back up or issue with their plumbing and even took time to speak with my downstairs neighbor who had questions about the work I was having done. They are clean, honest, and explain everything they found and did before they leave. They are also very reasonably priced. The front office staff, including Vicky, is extremely polite and responsive. This is not the company that my HOA uses but I will only use them in the future. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me!

I dealt with this company by accident. My upstairs neighbor had a leak involving her water heater and a pinhole leak between the shared walls of our units. My neighbor hired this company based on the fact that the HOA here uses them.

My neighbor initially called the company way before Christmas and after the plumber came out, he shared there was mold involved so he couldn't fix the leak until the carpenters came out. He took pictures of the damage to share with the carpenters and he did, after a week. Meanwhile, my neighbor kept calling to see when they would come out. Right before New Years, a supervisor, named Edgar shows up and provides a quote. Stating it could all be repaired in FOUR days. He stated, ""1 day demo, 2 days to dry out and 1 day reconstruction with the mold test,"" He reassured us that the everything could get done before the weekend so that we could ""have our living room back."" We have a baby so it was very important to get things done in a timely manner. It was also understood that they would coordinate services between the plumbers and the carpenters; however, my poor neighbor had to make several calls when the deadline could not be met on Friday to figure out when they were coming out. And as time passed, Edgar seemed more agitated when speaking to my neighbor over the phone.

I should say, my neighbor was very meticulous in documenting who she spoke to, when, and what was said. On Friday, nothing was done to our wall. The mold inspector came out to test the air and apparently results were gonna take 2-3 days. So no work got done on Friday. You would think that Edgar, being a supervisor, would understand the timeline and the process for completing work. It is my understanding he has no experience in carpentry!

The company failed to communicate when they would arrive, what work would be done for the day, and what that meant for their timeline. Dates kept being pushed further out. Allegedly work would be completed on Monday, yet no one showed. They didn't even call! My neighbor had to call and they told her they couldn't start until the mold results came back. On Tuesday, ONE guy showed up to do our wall. He seemed a little surprised we were told it could all get done in one day. On Thursday, William, bless his heart, came to repaint the wall, only one of the colors didn't match. Apparently, Edgar told William that the paint in our garage was the right paint-without CHECKING! You always check, right? Then the same thing occurred with the laminate flooring- he assumed the extras that were stored in the garage were correct, come to find out they weren't and there wasn't enough flooring. One would check though, right?! The mud on the wall takes 24 hours to dry, at least, paint another 24 hours to dry and the flooring, needs another day- so at least 3 additional days would have been required from his timeline. The flooring one more day.

Edgar and I did have a chat during the course of repairs and he contends that he never told us the remodel could be done in a day or that it could be completed by Friday, January 5th. However, three people heard him give us the deadline of 4 days, which he later changed his story to mean the following Friday. Furthermore, the company should have checked for if we had the correct paint and quantity of laminate flooring needed to complete the job. He admitted having other jobs, so organization of employees to complete work was obviously a struggle. Edgar did apologize for the miscommunication and shared he should have communicated directly with us, but again did not seem to grasp that real reason we were upset is because we assumed work would be completed in 4 days. Why 4 days? Because that is what he told us. I also do not like his demeanor, when he started his conversation with, ""let's get something straight here..."" AND during our conversation he walked away without excusing himself to take a phone call (unprofessional). Then he proceeded to blame our neighbor for the miscommunication rather than take credit for the faults, saying, ""I'll tell her to her [neighbor] face that is not what I said... ""

William, the carpenter, did a nice job repairing the wall and was very courteous and professional. He communicated with us the steps required to complete the work. He listened to our frustrations and empathized. Because of him the company gets ONE star.

Because of the failure to check if there was enough flooring, our neighbor had to search, purchase and pick up flooring. Incidentally, it is now nearing the end of January and we still have a big patch of flooring that has not been installed. So, thank you for the aggravation and headaches.

I can see potential in the company, two services under one roof, but there was too poor of planning and communication to really make it functional. There really is really poor communication and a lack of customer service.
