When Joe was alive, the business was great. I regret having used them for a recent water heater replacement. Communication was fair, service was slow and took a few days, plumber made sure we knew that we needed him more than he needed us and the bill was $2000 for a $500 job. RIP Joe, we miss you but I can assure you that we won't be using your company again.

Not the service I remember from the old days dating back over 20 years. Scheduled for kitchenette food dispenser repair/replacement and main kitchen faucet replacement. Also wanted three outdoor spigots replaced. I accepted a three week wait to accommodate an unexpected plumber illness. When they no showed, I called to learn they thought an estimate was in order first. OK. When were they planning to schedule that? They said they would try to dispatch a plumber to fix the malfunctioning sink that afternoon. No one came, no one called to reschedule my job or an estimate. I indicated they could skip the estimate during the last call! . Still, no show, no call. Too big for little jobs, or common courtesy? I'll give the hungry little guy my business....

Don't have any hot water. We've been trouble shooting for almost three years now. they come to take a look and never come back to actually fix the problem. Life gets in the way, I call months later, they come and look at it then the cycle repeats. Not pleased at all

On 3-18-21 I phoned JC Plumbing and got their answering service and left information with a live person that I had a leaking pipe in a radiator that needed fixing. The woman I talked to said she'd have someone there first thing in the morning so I took the day off. No one showed the next day, Friday the 19th so I called to find out when a plumber would be showing up. The woman at JC who answered said she knew nothing about it and that I would get a call back (I didn't). I scheduled another appointment for 3-22-21. The plumber from JC Jacobs showed up (I wasn't home at the time), fixed nothing and apparently turned off a set of valves that fed water to a cast iron heater in the upstairs bathroom. My elderly father was watching him but couldn't specifically point to which valves the tech had turned. Your plumber said he'd be back the next day, 3-23 so I took the day off and he never showed again and the woman I talked to at JC said he was somewhere else and apparently had no intention of stopping by. A few 70 degree days later and we realize there's no heat in the upstairs bathroom. By this time, I'd called another plumber from another company to fix the leak in the other radiator, which he did. Since we realized there was no heat in the upstairs bathroom and didn't know why, we called this same plumber back to the house again and he found the two valves that the JC Jacobs plumber had messed with and turned them the correct way and charged us $180.00 to fix a problem that JC's plumber had caused. Emailed them looking for reimbursement for the problem they caused and received no reply.

For some reason, the locations says CA, which isn't correct. I'm on the south shore, Massachusetts.

Joe Jacobs has been my plumber for over 25 years. The last job was a replacement of an old steam/ radiator oil system with a forced hot air system. The job was difficult due to not having a full cellar, and the plumbers had a lot of tedious work to do in the crawl space. The house is much more evenly heated now. As always, Joe's plumbers did a wonderful job. I wouldn't call anyone else.

Blew me off a few times, then after i gave up on them they showed up and entered my house without me home. They did work that I didn't ask to be done and then tried to charge me 3x what it should have cost.

Very Disappointed! I worked with J C Plumbing back in the fall, requesting they give me estimates for several projects I had around the house. I was very patient with them as they canceled and rescheduled my appointments as their plumber to come estimate (I think his name was Steve?) had a medical issue. Eventually when he did come and spent about 45 minutes with me, I never heard back from him to get an estimate for the work! I even called them to follow up several times. I was always told they would get back to me. What a waste of time! It's not right to treat people like this. At least give me the courtesy of a call back or tell me you're not going to help me. Why waste my time?

Mike and his crew came to my house for a fairly simple new sink installation. They were great to work with. The installation was fast and efficient. I would definitely use JC Jacobs again.

Running the washing machine late yesterday, when water started spraying all over the room from one of the hoses. The pipe was backed up. We contacted JC Jacobs Plumbing around 8 p.m. Joe dispatched Mike and Dave out to the house first thing this morning and they were done with the job within half an hour -- allowing me to get back to laundry by 8:30 a.m.!;) Great service! Thank you Joe, Mike and Dave!
