Found out our hot water heater leaked and there was a pool of water in the catch tray beneath. Husband shut off water and drained the heater while I desperately searched for a plumber. Found high recommendations for JBS Plumbing on the Nextdoor App and I also confirmed it by checking on Yelp. Called them shortly after 3pm and left a VM. Fabi called me back within 10 minutes and was very helpful in her recommendations for water heater replacements. We ended up with a Bradford White (which Dale hardware had also recommended when we spoke to them for a quote). Talked pricing and I sent over photos. They confirmed they would be able to replace that same day! By 4:30pm Juan was at the hardware store buying the heater. Fabi kept me up to date on their timeline. Unfortunately on their way over to the house they suffered flat tires (2) on their truck. We rescheduled for next day. Appt was at 1pm but they didn't show until about 4:30pm. I was given status throughout that time and when Juan finally came, the heater was replaced and we had hot water again within 1.5 hrs. Professional, courteous and wore a mask. Thanks Fabi and Juan!

JBS is one of those small businesses you just want to support. I was given JBS contact info from others in my community as being reliable, fairly priced, and people that can just get the job done.

My water heater finally gave way and we needed someone to get out ASAP. Because the team knows my community well, they gave me an exact quote on what the water heater would cost, labor costs, and supporting materials would cost.

After 20+ years of use our shower/bath handle broke off (luckily in the off position) and repairs required a professional plumber. Faby responded to my Yelp request immediately and after a few text back and forth re: scope, schedule and pricing she scheduled our repair appointment at our convenience. Fabiola and Juan are a great wife and husband team. Yesterday, I hired them to install a kitchen sink, a garbage disposal unit, two toilets and a couple of bathroom faucets. Fabiola was very helpful over the phone, offering to pick up the items for free and offering to call up Home Depot to resolve a delivery issue. Their price was extremely reasonable and Fabi was very clear in communicating how much they charge for labor, supplies, etc. Juan and two others came over in the morning and worked assiduously all day, and were careful to wear shoe covers and masks.

All in all, it was a stress free experience, and I felt supported by Fabi from the beginning to the end.

I will be using them for all of my plumbing needs in the future and will recommend them to others!

Juan, Fabiola, and Alphonso are a great team. Quick response and follow through.
Juan and Alphonso replaced outdated hoses/pipes under my kitchen sink, installed a faucet, and a garbage disposal. Juan picked up everything for me at Home Depot. He sent pictures and prices for me to choose what I wanted. What service!!
JBS is fast and efficient, with very competitive pricing, plus a 90-day guarantee! JBS takes pride in doing a great job.
All in all, a very pleasant experience.
Forgot to mention....they cleaned up after themselves and ...they were masked!

Juan and his assistant, Alphonso just left after replacing my leaking bathroom sink faucet, the hot water stop, and updating the lines under my sink to meet current standards. Fabiola had given me a price, based upon photos I submitted, and they honored that price to the dollar, with the small addition of the price for the new unexpected parts. I am extremely pleased with their work. They worked quickly.....but surprisingly quietly. :-) Very quiet. I certainly intend to use them again, if/when needed, and will happily refer them to anyone I know. Thank you.

JBS Plumbing did an excellent, major job for us: Our 60-year old pipes started to leak under the slab foundation, and we decided to re-route all the pipes through the attic (had to open sheetrock for access, which they patched back neatly afterwards). In addition, they replaced all the faucets, showers (which was more difficult because we did not want to have to re-tile anywhere), a toilet, and a few other things. The plumbing was expertly done by Juan, with his assistant Alfonso. Both Juan and Fabiola (JBS Office) gave us advice on the fixtures, provided clear quotes expediently, and there were no surprises. It was a pleasure to work with them, and I can strongly recommend them.

Most water heater replacements are plug and play. Even well established contractors and plumbing agencies will tell you it will take them 45 mins tops to do the swap. And yet pretty much every one will want to charge you north of $1000 just for the installation.

JBS (Juan and Fabi) were well below that. And they were honest throughout the process. Fabi answered most questions over the phone after requesting pictures of the heater location, and that was followed by a visit from Juan since I wanted to look into going tankless. He explained why the difference between the two was so wide. After we settled on going for a tank replacement, Fabi got to work. We tried to shop for their recommended Bradford White brand with extended warranty but she could not find one (note: they will not charge a markup even if they buy the heater, unlike other plumbers). She was more than happy to have us buy one ourselves and have Juan pick it to at the local home improvement store. We did that.

Juan was quick with the install. He was able to help out with a tricky situation where the heater was slightly wider than the old one (we upsized). He has also offered to come back later and replace the water inlet valve which we discovered had a slight leak during the install (we didn't have a spare then) - without charging for additional labor! And he said he would check the water mains pressure too - again out of courtesy! This is exactly why we need to support local business.
