Last Monday I returned home from a short vacation and found a flood in my entry closet. What a mess! I'm SO happy with John, Yolanda, Theresa, and especially Giovanni and Ernesto who took great care and replaced a drain pipe that had a nasty crack. The drywall was just patched, the closet is as good as new and I wouldn't call anybody else. Thanks MUCH JB!

I called J.B. Plumbing 2 months ago in an emergency to find & repair a plumbing leak which ended up being behind a wall. They replaced a broken copper pipe and cleaned up in one visit at a reasonable price. Once again, they showcased their experience & professionalism. Yolanda was a huge help managing additional minor repairs.

J.B. plumbing was also my original plumbing subcontractor when we built the house in 2001! If you want a knowledgeable & dependable plumbing company, this is the one to call!

I could not be happier with the service I received from JB plumbing. They were recommended by an old friend and contractor. They arrived on when they said they would. I told them I had five plumbing problems that needed to be addressed, and they tackled them one after another and did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

You should look elsewhere. Ridiculously expensive, can't give a straightforward quote and very rude. Asked for a quote to unclog kitchen sink - a pretty straightforward plumbing job. Woman answering the phone said it would be $149, with additional charges if they needed to use equipment. Huh??? How else do you unclog the drain except by using equipment?? When I asked, she confirmed that the $149 is to just have them show up at the door, and if they actually do work to unclog the drain, which necessarily would involve using equipment ( a snake, etc.), there would be additional unspecified charges. When I asked for specifics on the additional charges, the representative was unable to provide detail on what additional charges would apply, and under what circumstances. When I asked to speak to someone who could provide more information on the anticipated likely additional charges, she abruptly said that she didn't think ""they would be able to get out there this month,"" and hung up the phone on me!

Contacted other plumbers who agreed to come out and fix it for $89 for one, and $99 for the other. They agreed that If after assessing the job, there might be additional charges, they let you know up front, and you could decide not to have any of the work performed by them. And that is free of charge! In other words you don't pay if they don't do the work. Unlike JB plumbing, where you have to pay $149 just for them to show up and they don't tell you how much it's going to cost before hand.

They were quick to respond and arrived when they said they would. They couldn't find the leak within the walls between our two units so they resorted to cutting out 8-9 holes across both units trying to locate the leak. The billing wasn't done the way they told me it would be so insurance didn't cover the work they should have.

The biggest ding is that they recommended California Restoration to do the mold remediation and demo work after the leak was fixed. This was a HUGE mistake on their part. I trusted them (my mistake) and didn't check their yelp reviews, which are horrible. They lost our HOA business based on that poor recommendation. We use Pacific Coast Plumbing and they've been excellent.
