I had a broken shower faucet in my South Philly property. Mark came by the morning after I called to assess the situation. We scheduled the replacement of the faucet and part of the tiled wall for later that week, and he came up with a temporary fix so the tenants could use the shower in the meantime. The final work was completed quickly and the shower has never worked better. Mark and his crew do great work, and I will definitely reach out to them for my future plumbing needs.

I had a leak coming through the ceiling and light fixtures of the kitchen stemming from bathroom (shower was being used at time). I called my handyman and he was unable to find the source and unable to replicate the leak. I called Mark at 7:30 am the following day after seeing many great reviews/feedback. He was able to come out to the property by 8:30 am and was able to find the origin of the leak. He repaired it the same day and area was cleaned up well.

I cannot say enough about the great experience I had with JB Plumbing today. The hot water heater in my new house looked like it was functioning but no hot water. After texting a few pics, the plumber figured out the problem and helped me fix it myself-saving me the cost of a visit and potentially unnecessary repairs. I am so thankful for the honest response and quick offer to help me try a simple fix at home. Mark and Martin did a fantastic job on changing my water heater on the second floor. With short notice and limited time, Mark came to my house, took measurements and provide an estimate free of charge a few days prior to installation just to make sure he quoted me accurately, and to make sure everything fits. On the day of installation, they came early in the morning to get everything ready. I ran into some issues with my HOA maintenance person, which resulted in a half an hour delay. Mark and Martin waited patiently and even went above and beyond to try to help resolve the issue. (they climbed down a dark/dirty ladder which was not their job!!) They were extremely detailed, patient, and honest to work with, and left the place clean after the job is done. It was really nice to see that they really care about their work and care about their customers! If you are looking for a reliable plumbing service, don't hesitate and give them a call! You won't regret it!

Fantastic service with an honest, reputable owner who seems to care passionately about plumbing and genuinely helping people out. Mark came to our condo building an hour after calling at 7am and the first thing he said was ""call the city water department"". Didn't charge a dime. Amazing - I'm house sitting for a friend and got a spoon stuck in the garbage disposal. I went on Yelp and found Mark. I immediately called and left a voicemail message. He called me right back and was out in less than 1/2 hour. Spoon removed and all is well. I've lived in many places over the years and have not had such prompt, efficient, friendly service. The best. Don't hesitate to call Mark for any of your plumbing needs. You'll be glad you did!

I signed up for yelp just to leave this review...I realized my hot water heater broke yesterday morning...I called JB and left a message at around 7:30 am...Mark, the owner, got back to me in about 5 or 10 minutes at the most...he mentioned they were swamped that day, but he would personally inspect my heater to determine the issue...turns out it needed replacement as I suspected...within 24 hours of my initial call, I had a brand new hot water heater installed and previous one removed...I'm a long time home owner in the Philly area and this was by far the best and least painful experience I have had with any repair/install service. If I had three thumbs I'd give three thumbs up! Nice work and even nicer people.

I would extremely recommend JB Plumbing and Heating. After speaking with Mark about my issue, he asked for photographs to discuss the problem and was able to immediately provide a reasonable quote. Because he could not get his team out, he even personally came to repair my shower within hours. After doing a quick and effective repair, I accidentally made the check out for more than the cost - Mark immediately came back to let me know that I overpaid him! The integrity and diligence is hard to find. Thanks again!
