Okay, so let me start by saying our house is unique when it comes to heating. Hydronic system with forced air. I hired an Ontech ""Nest Pro"" who came, didn't charge me, but spent 1.5 hours in my house trying to figure out how to put the nest in. He concluded by telling me to call an HVAC guy. That's when I called JB Heating & Air. Benjamin returned my call right away, came over that same day, mask and booties on to protect our floors, and solved the issue we had with the heating system. He flawlessly installed two nest thermostats 3rd gen at an unbelievable rate. Definitely using them for everything I need. Huge thank you to Benjamin, and happy I found a reliable person to help with our HVAC needs as we just moved to the area.

I needed to have my toilet unclogged and was hoping to have it fixed by today, so it was getting late so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find anyone but thank goodness JB Heating contacted me that they would be able to come by at around 730 to 8pm. Ben was very good at showing up on time and was very attentive to my explanation of my issues. I had a heating issue and he went through all my wiring to find any issues. As it turned out it, he was able to isolate the problem to the thermostat and resolve my issue.

Lucky for us that Ben from JB Heating and Air Conditioning also does Plumbing. I needed HVAC and Plumbing to get the house right after a weird water backup into my utility room. Ben came same day, recognized what we needed and quoted a fair price for removal of the whole house furnace, water heater, and water softener from the utility room. Make no mistake he was busy but he offered options, did the work same day, and then came back the same day the room was dry and ready. Put everything back, all working nicely. He was fast and efficient and did a great job. You will be lucky to have him. Went above and beyond to get my family comfortable again. Thank you sir !

My air conditioning broke during an evening with a very hot day the next day. I contacted Ben over Yelp messaging and got an immediate reply with an availability for that evening and the most affordable diagnosis price from everyone I contacted (a handful of other technicians). Ben continued to keep me updated when timing change, which was appreciated, since I knew he fit me in on a minute's notice.

When he came, he was wearing a mask and did his best to avoid going into my house, which I appreciate during the pandemic. When he had to go into the house, he wore the shoe covers to keep my carpet clean. We maintained social distancing and he was able to fix my issue completely (something with the circuitry and needing to keep the AC clean). He gave his follow-up recommendation, including contacting an electrician to look over the house.

In summary, my stressful broken AC was fixed immediately and is still running well a week after. Thank you Ben!

Ben Lara is a very honest man. Ben was recommended by my Nephew who had his A/C unit installed in his new house and fixed his old heater from his old house. Before I contacted Ben to get a quote and his opinion. I already spoke with many contractors and got about four estimate. Ben estimate is very fair. He is easy to work with. My property is in Fresno and he drove from Salinas to Fresno to replace my broken A/C and retiring furnace unit that is 17 years old. I never met Ben personally only we spoke and text by phone. But by talking to him I can tell that he is a honest, sincere and a hardworking man. And he know his job very well. I am very please with his service and my tenant has no complaint and they are enjoying the new A/C that Ben installed.

Of course our AC died a few weeks ago when it was literally 106 degrees out. We messaged JB in a panic on a Sunday night and he came out the next afternoon and fixed our AC in about 20 min. Since he was late for the original appt, he gave us a discount off the repair, which I appreciated. AC working great!!! Thank you!

Ben is the real deal. Honest, quick to respond, and professional. He came on short notice on a Sunday morning to take a look at our aging AC compressor which wouldn't turn on. Instead of replacing the unit, which I was prepared to do, he confirmed that a simple switch had been triggered causing inoperability. While he was at our house, Ben also identified a space in the exhaust piping from our heater which he quickly repaired at no charge. Can't recommend this guy highly enough. He fixed our problem without ripping us off, and I'll definitely keep his contact info for future needs.
