I booked him on a last minute request to change out my faucet and he did a great job. He was friendly and talkative unlike other handymen I've had. He went above and beyond and cocked my sink and even fixed a part that was broken below the sink free. The middle piece was hanging.

I'm so disappointed to be writing this review, Jason is efficient, professional and skilled. In our first meeting he had the best ideas for repair of our leaning patio. His charges are reasonable and he only charges for time used. We thought we had found our forever Handyman. The problem is getting him to respond to your requests. We had a great first experience, he put up our Christmas lights and he promised to come back to do the work he forgot about the next day- we didn't hear from him from over a week- turns out he doesn't answer when on vacation. We needed to confirm his time and again when he finally responded after repeated texts- he was on vacation again. When he came out on 1/9, he promised 2 estimates in a couple days, 5 texts and 1 call later still no response, even let him know I was going to write this review if he didn't respond in 3 days. Can't believe he could be on vacation from1/13-until now and I pray he didn't get horribly ill.

When HD couldn't/wouldn't install our new dishwasher, I hit Yelp (never done me wrong) and found Jay. He responded very quickly and came over on a Sunday! He found the issue and seamlessly I stalled the dishwasher. My 7 year old grandson was there and very interested, and jay let him help a bit. He does excellent word, fast and very good pricing. My daughter and I were very fortunate to locate Jay's Handyman Service, on Yelp. Jason replied to my call right away, and fit us in right after another job this evening. In no time he did a few adjustments and reattached the ceiling fan. He also helped me with several other ceiling fans that needed tightening, and inspected them for sounds they were making. Fans that we'll have him change out when they go out. He even helped me with the attic Mechanical Fan, that I didn't know how to take apart, to vacuum the filters. He's going to return to work on the bathroom ceiling light/exhaust fan another day. My daughter's so happy to be back in her room, after sharing my room for over a week. Jason is a pleasant person. He is a knowledgeable handyman, quick, very professional, and offers a generous price for his great service. We are very grateful to meet Jason. Thank you Jason :-) for making my birthday end great!

Didn't end up doing the work for me since our landlord wanted someone else BUT....

- he responded quickly to messages
- is an early riser so stopped by at 7:15am
- he offered a lot of helpful advice

Would definitely have hired him if our landlord had no preference.

Great service and value. Changed out 3 smoke detectors fast and efficiently. Installed my Ring doorbell and garage sensor too. Didn't even take him 2 hours and that included giving me an estimate on fence repair. Very honest and trustworthy, doesn't try to pad the time to do a job to charge more. Will use him for future jobs and recommend to others.
