I have used the wonderful services of Jay Young Plumbing 3 times and they have never failed to please me in every way. John had gone above and beyond and repairs my problems in a professional manner. My house is over 60 years old and you can imagine the problems that arise in the plumbing department. Dependable is the best way to describe Jay Young Plumbing. They never fail to get the job done properly!

Had a leaky faucet, that should have just needed a washer and was broken while unscrewing it. $120 per hour of doing nothing but breaking my faucet and not being able to fix it. Came out twice and still nothing. I will have another company out to fix this damage they did. Also, The customer service is not good at all! Christiana (the receptionist) is rude and doesn't even know how to hang up the phone before she bad mouths the customers. The owner Jay originally came to look at our faucet, and continued to have a polite conversation all about his upbringing and his family, but then over the phone that didn't get hung up, tells people that we wanted to stand over him and not let him work.... I will never trust someone who tries to lie when they don't think you can hear them! Customer service and reliability should be better than this! Sadly, I was a repeat customer through the years, but not any more!

We love dealing with John from Jay Young Plumbing. He's a nice guy that I believe I can trust, and he does great work. We've used them for 2 or 3 jobs now, and I will call them again if we need service.

I hired Jay Young Plumbing to connect my new fridge to an existing water line. When the service technicians arrived they said it was such an easy job and were embarrassed to charge the flat service fee of $95. It took them less than 10 minutes to connect the water line to the fridge. I paid cash and kept my receipt that reflected "checked for leaks". The next day the bedroom behind my kitchen wall was FLOODED with water from the leaking water line connection. I immediately called Jay Young Plumbing. The same service technician arrived and apologized for the leak and the damage it had caused. I cleaned up the mess while the technician worked on correcting their mistake. I had a flight to catch so the technician stopped the leak and instructed me to call upon my return to "fix" the problem. After returning, I contacted Jay Young Plumbing and they sent out a different technician who ended up running the line from my water heater via the attic to the fridge (something I was unaware that was possible). Upon his completion he handed me second invoice for $375. I informed the technician of the situation so he directly called Jay Young (owner) on speaker phone. Jay Young was extremely rude to the technician (his employee) and hung up on him. The technician asked me to sign the invoice agreeing to pay the additional $375 ( I did not). Instead I called the office directly and asked to speak to Jay Young. I attempted to give him the details of my situation, in a rude and aggressive tone Jay Young said he didn't care and hung up on me. I called the office a second time and spoke with Jay Young's wife. She informed me that her husband was "having a bad day" and apologized for his behavior. I later received a past due invoice in the mail. I attempted to reach out again with no solution as it was my fault that my "house was old". A year later I became aware of the fact that Jay Young placed a mechanics lien on my home for $375. The title company said they had never seen a lien for such a small amount. Long story short....DO NOT contract Jay Young. Not only did they not complete such an easy job correctly, they are downright rude and unprofessional.

My warranty company set up an appointment with Jay Young Plumbing, Heating And Air on Friday December 20th for a water leak. The appointment was set for Monday December 23rd. Great that means no water all weekend, but I understand that these guys are busy and it takes time. I called Monday morning to confirm they would be here and was told they would be. This was perfect since we had family coming in for Christmas. Well the company never showed up. After multiple calls to their after hours answering service I finally got a call back. Their secretary had supposedly contacted the warranty company to let them know they would not be able to make it. The guy I talked to said he was on a big job, but he would try to get over on Tuesday afternoon. I knew this was just to appease me and that is fine. He said it'd be Thursday for sure. On Thursday by 11 I hadn't heard anything from the company, so I decided I'd give them a call. I really can't believe what happened next. A different secretary told me that they would not be coming to my house. Again I was told she contacted the warranty company and told them they wouldn't be coming. This time the truth came out and she said she wasn't sending her guys for $95, but she told them they would come for $260. Sometimes it should really be about the people. It's been over a week for us with no water, but all she is concerned with is sticking it to the warranty company. After this experience I'd highly recommend steering clear from these guys.

My air conditioner decided it was not gonna participate!! Called Jay Young at 8 am, they had a rep out by 2:30 pm... house was cool by 4:00 pm. Great work!! And reasonably priced. I hope I never need to see them again, but if I have issues in the future you can bet they will get the call. Thanks!!

I had a busted water pipe on a Saturday morning and they got here within 30 minutes to check it out. John and mike got the job done quick and John was super friendly and explained everything to me in a professional way. Will definitely use them in the future for any of our needs!

We recently had the 3rd slab leak in our 30+ year old home. This is the first time that a plumber has tried to find the leak without first rushing in and tearing up the floors and foundation, or do a quick fix. Unfortunately, the attempt to not tear up the foundation could not be averted, but we believe the elusive leak that has caused issues over the last 28+ years was finally fixed. Bryan Porter was the plumber who fixed the leaks. He was respectful, on time, very tidy in cleaning up after himself. His work standard reminded us of years gone by. We will not hesitate to ask for Bryan when we have plumbing issues in the future.

I found this company thru Angie's List and couldn't have been more satisfied. The technician arrived with his son who's learning the trade and both were completely respectful, friendly and engaging. Finished in
about 20 minutes and fixed the problem perfectly.
I'll call on them again.

Jay Young has continued to deliver on my ailing plumbing needs. Chase has been assigned to come out on four of the past 5 times and I appreciate that he remembers having taken care of things before. They have always been able to pinpoint any issues without dragging out the service call. I appreciate that they never assume I am an not knowledgeable about my home and what all may be entailed with a particular issue.
