I had a very bad clog in my kitchen sink. Jay Jay mechanical arrived a few hours after I filed my claim with my warranty company that same day. They are very professional and were able to fix the clog that same day. Although I had to help the plumber with clean up (I don't mind since it is my house obviously), everything was back to normal the same day. All was covered by my warranty company and I am now back to normal with my sink. Thank you for your help.

I had a plumbing issue with one of my bathroom's tubs draining improperly and called my home warranty company who dispatched Jay Jay Mechanical. I spoke to Kantrell who show great concern at addressing my issue and even fit me in the very next day. The service was very professional and they even explained to me what was causing the issue and ways to prevent it in the future. I will definitely use this company again and I highly recommend them to everyone. Great customer service as well!!!!

Company lies and untrustworthy............................................................................... purposely got me declined by home warranty company cause I wasn't going to hire them

Don't bother contacting them. Unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest owner. A Lot of phone tags, no return calls, texts or emails, give you the fun around, overpriced service.....found out after I called 2 other company could of save 200 dollars but my fault. Will not return calls but will gladly call back and take your payment first. A lot of bad comments, 2 filed reviews on BBB recently noting everything above. I will never use them again. The worst service and scams!!! They will take your money and leave you hanging like he did others.

Jay Jay was called to repair my air conditioning. They came within 36 hours and solved the problem within 15 minutes. They were professional and courteous.

This company was contracted through our Home Warranty Company, not that I am very impressed with them either, to come out and install our garbage disposal. After about 2 months of phone tag between our Home Warranty Company, Jay Jay Mechanical and ourselves we finally got an install date and time. We were told someone would be out on December 12th at 2pm, we accepted and agreed with the given time slot and I made arrangements to be able to be home so they could come out. December 12th is here and at around 8am my husband is getting a call asking to come out around 10:30, after some discussion with myself we politely declined as we had already agreed upon 2pm, the tech was very understanding and polite and we were given the impression that he was under the impression that we weren't given a time slot. About 5 minutes after hanging up with the tech my husband gets a call from the Owner stating that we were given a time frame of 10:30-2pm, not just one particular time period and that now because of our location it would be after 2pm until they reached us, but he'll call my husband back in 15 minutes. Never hear anything (which has been an on going issue from the start of never being called back and having to follow up ourselves) Anyways fast forward, 2pm comes and goes, 3pm comes and goes, by 3:30 I call the company just to get an ETA, the owner seemed polite enough at first, he was a little hard to understand as he was talking super fast, and he seemed irritated that i was calling to get an ETA and basically told me that he will get a hold of his tech and then call me back in...you guessed it...15 minutes. 15 minutes comes and goes and not one peep from the company. I gave them until the EOD on December 12th to show up; now we are calling our home warranty company and telling them to just cancel and that we will find someone our selves. I understand that when you're a small company things come up and you may have to reschedule, but the constant phone tag, and lack of communication is what really put a sour taste in my mouth.

We are now in the process of getting a new A/C unit inside and out because the units Jay Jay (Kantrell) Mechanical installed were not compatible, nor installed correctly. We had a heck of a time getting him to show up when he did. As a matter of fact, he never showed up when he said he would. If you could get a hold of him on the phone, he would say he'd be there soon but wouldn't show. I called him out on it one evening and he said he did show up but no one answered the door. That was definitely a lie. Needless to say, do not use this company.

Would highly recommend. Had 2 other companies prior to Jay Jay who did not show up for there appt nor did they call back. Jay Jay was here when they said, and returns my phone calls. The techs where very courteous and respectful and explained what was going on.

Cantrell and his collegaue did a great job. They got my valve fixed the same day on my tub and explained what the issue was and what to look for in the future to prevent further problems. He was thorough is his explaination, he was on time, and he got the job done right the 1st time. I just cancelled an appointment on a seperate claim (for which I was assigned another company) via my home warranty to make sure his company could come do the work. He's a good guy, a straight shooter and he fixed the problem the same day, thank you!

Aaron from Jay Jay Mechanical was sent to my home by my home warranty company to provide a free preventative maintenance check on my heating system. I was informed that my unit was not working properly due to a shorted furnace control board and that I would need to pay $100 deductible payable to Jay Jay Mechanical in order to file a claim with my home warranty company. Kantrell, the owner of Jay Jay Mechanical, proceeded to prepare a report for my home warranty company stating that I was using an incorrect Honeywell thermostat, and that it was not the proper thermostat for my application, and that a battery exploded in the thermostat. He then went on to say that a wire was off on the furnace control board and that shorted the board out too. Aaron gave me 3 reasons why my furnace control board failed, all 3 of which seemed to be unlikely causes for the malfunction. I have a heat pump with an oil fired forced hot air furnace. Aaron's observation and diagnosis seemed very amateur and unprofessional considering that the unit is 6 years old and the thermostat is the same one that was installed from day one and worked fine without any issue whatsoever. When I spoke with Kantrell, he stated that the thermostat could work for 10 minutes or ten years before it causes a problem. I put a call into Honeywell and spoke with George Magallanes from technical support who assured me that my thermostat is acceptable for my application. I asked Kantrell for my $100 to be refunded and was told that he would not. As a consumer, it seems that I didn't receive anything whatsoever for my $100, however my warranty company did... an inaccurate report from Jay Kay Mechanical used to support their denial.
