Our contractor hired him because he used him on another project, he said he work was good and the price was reasonable.
Backstory:Me a contractor too, I was able to do the work if I could fit it in and not slow down our master bath remodel. At the time I wasn't able to get the plumbing done to keep the project moving. So our contractor hired him to do the work.
First off, bad on both myself and our contractor for not getting a price on the work that needed to be done.
We supplied the fixtures to be tied in and our contractor had done some of the water supply plumbing to cut down on the work that needed to be done by him.
The work was time & materials (T & M), I got an invoice for $2500 for 14 hours of work and the invoice wasn't itemized. Both myself and our contractor were a little put off with the amount of time for the work and the cost.
After our contractor talked with him he did lower the cost by about $250 and had itemized it-some what.
For the amount of work that needed to be done it would of took me around 8-10 hours to complete. For someone that does this for a living, 14 hours was a bit much. He should of had this done is about 6-8 hours. At $135 per hour the guy needs to bust a move and not take his time. Yes I did tell him this when he reached out to me to get paid. He needs to lower his hourly rate if he's going to move at that pace.
Keep in mind to, a plumber on prevailing wage in our area is around $104 per hour. So he's way off on his labor rate!!

He did end up lowering the cost down to $2000, but I still feel I was gouged and he was back peddling to save face.

Bottom line:If you use this guy
1. Quality of work is good
2. GET AN ESTIMATE BEFORE COMMITTING!!!
3. Check his labor rates!!

I would give Jason ten stars if I could. I had a water heater that wasn't working. He answered my call in the late evening, diagnosed the problem and was there the next morning with the repair part. He communicated in advance the cost and the timing and he delivered as promised. Additionally, he is a really nice person, which is a bonus. I will be using him for all of my plumbing needs and I will be telling all my neighbors.

After having new appliances delivered, we realized the new wall oven would not fit due to a gas line regulator on the cook top being in the way. I called Jason late in the evening Friday night and he was there to look at it on Saturday!!! He was thorough explaining how he would move the regulator to allow for the new cook-top to fit properly. Needless to say I'm so glad to have called Jason, he is prompt, professional and knows his stuff! Our new appliances were up and running in no time.

If we could give 0 stars we would. We called Jason based on the other glowing reviews and was thoroughly disappointed with his lack of service and professionalism. He came out for a leaky pipe under the house on Monday and said he had to order the part and would be back Wednesday. On Wednesday, he texted to say the part wasn't in and would come Thurs. On Thurs., I had to text him and he had another excuse as to why he couldn't come out. If he didn't want to do the job, he should have been up front about it. He strung us along and had charged for the initial day that was suppose to be credited to the final job. His unprofessionalism was unacceptable and left us in a bind without water.

I recently moved to Windsor with my elderly mother and we needed to have our dryer hooked up, so I called Jason. He was prompt, courteous, friendly and competent. Our drier is now fixed! Jason also figured out what was wrong with my shower while he was here and didn't even charge me for it.

The man has integrity and he knows his stuff. And he's a nice guy.

Jason installed a new water heater for me and I couldn't be happier. Of course my water heater went out on a Sunday. I called Jason and he gave me a reasonable quote and said he could come on Monday morning. My old water heater was leaking and he walked me through the steps on how to shut it off over the phone. He showed up promptly and completed the job in a couple hours. He cleaned everything and left my garage great condition. Jason was prompt and professional. I would definitely use him for any other plumbing needs.
