I recently called Jarboe's out for 3 apartments to repair a furnace. They condemned my furnace and said there was holes in the heat exchanger. They quoted an enormously outrageous price on replacing the furnace. They said they would not charge me a service run if I agreed to their replacement prices. I called another reputable repair man for estimates and they replaced the furnace for 1/3rd of the price quoted. I was very pleased with the furnace installed and the work performed. As far as Jarboe's, they soaked me for the service charge and I didn't get anything from them. By the way, I tore into the old furnace and there were no holes in the heat exchanger at all. This was there way of installing new instead of repairing old furnaces. I won't call them anymore.

I called Jarboe's Plumbing to install a sink I had purchased at Costco. I was able to schedule a time convenient for me. Aaron gave me a price up front and gave me an estimate on the time required. He did the install quickly and professionally and cleaned up after himself. I had a great experience with Jarboe's.

I would actually give ZERO stars. We called at 7:45AM this morning and were told they would send a tech and that they would call us when they were 30 minutes away. After hearing nothing by 3:00, I called back and was told that we were next in line. At 6:00pm I called back and got their answering service and was told that they would have someone call us. 6:40pm we received a call from someone at their shop telling us that they only have one tech working.... WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD INFORMATION TO HAVE UPON THE INITIAL CALL. So I have wasted an entire day and will NEVER call Jarboes again. They installed both units we have in our house and it has been a complete and total disappointment. They come for routine maintenance calls and inevitably one week after them leaving we have issues.
WILL BE USING BRYANT OR PRUDENTIAL GOING FORWARD.
Jarboes sells inferior products and lacks any form of customer service.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go with any other company BUT Jarboe's!!!!!!!!!!! Told us our service would be a flat fee per hour when we called for them to come out....all we needed was 2 toilets to be replaced and we had already purchased the toilets. THEY CHARGED US $246 PER TOILET TO REPLACE!!!!!! Most ridiculous thing I have EVER heard of! We even had a free service call coupon that he did NOT apply! I wasn't the one home when he made the run or I would have resolved this on the SPOT. When I called customer service I got the most RUDE rep who treated me like I was garbage and that Jarboe's was the best place ever. All I wanted to do was speak to a manager and get a break down of why exactly they charge $246 to replace ONE toilet.........HOW HARD CAN REPLACING A TOILET BE??????????? THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE OF THEIR MONEY! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will give credit where credit is due. I now have a 1 year service contract which I had to buy to avoid the service call, the free service call coupon is worthless. In the end a 10 minute repair that I diagnosed and cut the access in the wall for which i found out after could have fixed for $40 by going to Lowes cost me $478.00. Jarboes did show up promptly and fixed it but it cost me. Knowledge is priceless.

USE ANYONE ELSE!!! RUN AWAY FROM JARBOE!!! Issue is worse after they came out and did a $3400 job. My basement has flooded 3 times since they ""fixed"" my plumbing. They never finished the job they started in June, but sure did cash the check the day they started the work. They keep sending the same dumb ass out to work on the same issue, and it's just getting worse every time he touched it. Jarboe's cut my electric fence line then never paid to repair it. I keep calling and being told a supervisor will call me back, but I never calls back. The worst business I've ever used!!! Save your money and hire anyone else

I recently had Jarboes out to perform the annual furnace tune up on a house I just purchased.

Pros:
-The journeyman technician was very professional and wore boot protectors while in the house
-I asked if I could lean over his shoulder and learn about my furnace and he was quite helpful in teaching me.
-He knew what he was doing

Cons:
-The previous home owners had pets and did not do the proper maintenance on the furnace. As a result, there were chunks of pet hair in the ductwork. This was cleaned out but left on the basement floor
-He did not plug the condensate pump back in and as a result, the furnace did not kick back on. I had to go down and troubleshoot.
-Biggest one for me: In my opinion, any company tries to hook you with the coupon in the paper for the low cost tune-up and then try to sell you on extra items. One of the items was the cleaning of the condensate pump for $32. I can buy a brand new (identical) pump on Amazon for $39 with free shipping. It would have been nice to at least ask my mechanical knowledge (I'm a mechanical engineer btw) and see if I am able to disconnect 1 hose clamp and 1 PVC fitting and just change out an aging pump.

Overall, my furnace is running better, but I would expect more.

We called Jarboe's for the motor of our heating unit making a reverberating sound (it reminded me of the sound you hear as the dentist drills your tooth) while distributing the a/c. The technician came quickly, and called first, so far so good. They replaced the motor, which cost over $800. That night it was slightly quieter, but still making the same noise. they came back 3 days later, a ne tech could still hear the sound and tighten a few screws which helped a very little and then pronounced the problem is we need our vents cleaned and charge $74 for the trip. We called again they came back a week later. by then it was unbearable to listen to. The tech said he would talk to his superior about refunding something for the motor that was at best unnecessary or perhaps defective. Just heard they said no. we called another company. THEY gave us a great deal on replacing the whole unit which was not so much more than just the motor.
Jarboe's was very professional but not worth it.

Jarboes came out on Friday. Since my water heater was 15 years old, the service man said he could repair it with no warranty for about 400.00. Since it was so old he said he could install a new one for 1548.00. I was shocked at that price. Asked him why so high, he gave me some story about the government requirements etc. I said no and went to Lowes. I purchased a 40 gallon tank with installation for 748.00. The plumber at the store was shocked when I told him the story. I would never, never recommend this company to any. To me they are bandits Anne

Absolutely horrible! I had them come out to unclog my drain. They came late and then worked as if they planned on being here all night for what should have been a 15 minute job. He couldn't seem to get it unclogged for some reason, and then told me that he was approaching his second hour here and I would be charged extra. When I informed him that I was not paying for two hours for a 15 minute job, he miraculously unclogged it in about two minutes. He then gathered his tools while dropping the F-bomb several times, trampled through our landscape crushing our newly planted flowers and wrote up the invoice while telling me how he had just recently beat up a motorist in a road-rage incident. They were suppose to come back and run a camera through our drain, which I paid for. They have not been back to finish the job which they were paid to do. A very unprofessional company! I have a different company coming today to finish what I paid Jarboe's to do last month.
I am in the service industry, and would NEVER allow this to happen to any of my customers!
