I'm very disappointed in this firm. I've been trying since May to get them to come out and change out two outdoor water spigots for me. One of these was supposed to be an Aquor hydrant. I sent in a request for a quote and I received no answer back. I called them and I was told someone would call me. No one did. I called them back and the person on the phone was surprised that no one called me back to get scheduled. I had a plumber call me and we set up a tentative install date and I was told I would get a call the day before a plumber arrived. I even prepped the one wall for the Aquor hydrant by removing the sheetrock and other obstacles that would be in a plumber's way. Nothing. I called back again and I was told that someone would call me. Nothing once again. I get that this is a small job and the metro is a busy place but I'm busy as well. This firm is obviously not interested in my money nor my small project. I wasted my time chasing them when I should never have to chase any contractor in the first place.

I have used Janecky Plumbing a few times over the years. They are my first and only call for plumbing issues. This most recent call was due to a burst water pipe. It burst Sunday evening and I had an inspection on the house due to the sale of it the following Monday at 2:00pm. They needed the water turned on for the inspection so the water line had to get fixed. Shelly put a rush on my house call with no additional charge. Andrew, technician, came out at 12:30, fixed the pipe and double checked a couple other issues for no charge and was out by 1:30 which was just in time for the inspection. They are fast, polite, knowledgeable and clean. I highly recommend them! Ken

I'm very pleased with the plumbing work I got done with Janecky Plumbing! I know now that their main specialty is remodels & bigger buildouts, but I just needed some old, bad plumbing work fixed in my house in St Paul and they are clearly good for that kind of thing. My work was done by Andrew; I see that he has been mentioned in other reviews here, and that's probably because he is really smart, timely, and has great communication. One particular leak problem that I've struggled with over the years was finally resolved thanks to Andrew out-sleuthing everyone else that's tried to figure it out. I will definitely reach out to Janecky next time I need home plumbing work done. Andrew confirmed that they're available for all kinds of things like A/C installs and adding basement bathrooms, but they won't come out to just ""inspect your furnace/boiler"" because companies that offer that service are usually just trying to get their foot in the door to sell you stuff. So yeah, I really liked Andrew and this company!

Andrew helped me today with a confusing ceiling leak. He was so great to work with and took the time to figure out what was causing the leak. He was a detective! He found the problem and fixed it right then and there. I couldn't be happier!

We've had Andrew from Janecky Plumbing come out twice to our house in the last month to fix a dripping bathtub faucet upstairs and then a basement shower that wouldn't heat up. He fixed both jobs quickly and told us exactly what was being done and why it needed to be done. Andrew is great. I also appreciated how detailed he was in writing up what he fixed on the invoice so I have that for our records.

I couldn't be happier with Janecky Plumbing. They communicated well, did great work, and were priced reasonably. Nate did the work and was friendly and professional. I'll definitely use them again.

They do great work but really expensive. The lady in the office is short tempered and not very nice but the guys that do the work are good. Just expect to pay an arm and a leg for the job. Always seems to be twice as expensive as the quote!!!! And we had them out three times, all three times they went over budget!!!!!

I have Dave, Ryan and Matt do work at my home three times. They have been respectful, professional and thorough. Most importantly they have gotten the work done right the first time at a reasonable cost. Janecky plumbing is my go to call for plumbing jobs.
