We started a kitchen remodeling project with James and his team in October. Two months later, it's all done and we are now ready to enjoy our new Kitchen for years to come. During the past 2 months, James (business owner) was always on-time, communicative, and on top of everything. He is very detail oriented and I appreciated that a lot. His office (especially Shawna) is great at communicating every step of the process. They addressed every questions/concerns that we had almost immediately. We were in need of a full service remodeling shop to help us renovate our home. We spoke with a number of contractors in the area but James Remodeling, a father & son outfit, really set themselves apart with their detail oriented approach to estimation, project planning & communication. In particular Armin (the son) was with us every step of the way and was very responsive whenever we needed to talk to him. The first step was getting an estimate from them and they delivered an itemized estimate which made it very easy to fine tune the scope of the project. This may seem like a small detail but none of the other contractors we spoke to gave us anything remotely as polished as James Remodeling. We decided to pull the trigger with James Remodeling and shortly thereafter the work began. We renovated the entire home: kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, paint, etc. James Remodeling took care of all the logistics for us which was a godsend. Armin accommodated everything we threw at him. For example, we ordered a large farmhouse sink but it was an odd size. This could've been a big problem but Armin and his team customized the cabinet underneath the sink and now it fits like a glove. Supply chain issues for building materials could've caused significant delays but Armin has relationships with so many vendors that he didn't miss a beat and was able to order everything we needed. The project was just completed and boy are we happy with the results. It's not hyperbole to say that it looks like a model home. James Remodeling really came through for us and I can't wait to work with them again. I also wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch, family run remodeling company that cares about the details and very clearly takes a lot of pride in their work.

We recently hired James remodeling to remodel our master bath and downstairs guest bath. They did an excellent job. Fred was our point person. He was always helpful, friendly and very responsive. He kept us updated and checked in at every level of the project. The showroom had a large, beautiful selection. James was also wonderful and very professional. We knew immediately after talking with him he knew what he was doing and we were in great hands. His crews, through the process, were also very professional and their work was very well done. We will use JR in the future and can highly recommend them to others.

Armin,
I appreciate your response, but what I don't appreciate is that instead of being sincerely apologetic about the lack of follow through you are trying to make it seem that my post was unreasonable given the holiday weekend. I understand that it was a holiday weekend but regardless, a simple text back is not a lot to ask. The part that you conveniently ignored was that I also shared with you my discomfort with your sales rep, outside of the awkwardness , he failed to capture the project request correctly. That is why we asked for someone else to handle it. As the owner, you expressed to me that service was important to you and that you would take over and handle it yourself. Failing to call me back after over a week is not my idea of quality service and being busy is no excuse for not calling a customer back.

It doesn't seem that you really ""looked"" into things much or at all as you seem to think the job was only for plumbing. In fact it is a $10,000 job even with just the items that I said I needed from beginning before Fred added a bunch of extras that I made clear I didn't need. Again, I understand you may be busy, most contractors are at this time, but it does not excuse the terrible customer service and lack of communication. The work will eventually slow and the companies that will stand out will be the ones that understand true service.

Working with James Remodeling was truly a wonderful experience. It is hard to find contractors as honest and operate with such high values and integrity, as James, Armin and the entire team. They were professional and passionately perfectionist that did everything the right way, while always remaining patient, helpful and understanding the impact the remodel had on our entire family.

This is a review from early on in the process and Armin is a great guy. He is very compassionate to his clients needs and he himself understands how crazy the housing market is right now. It is great to support local small business owners during these trying times and Armin is great local contractor. He is punctual and efficient in his time.
