Recommended Customer Reviews

Was not pleased with quality of work. I felt I paid for premium service and got quality of work I would expect from Home Depot parking lot. I would like to list the positive about the company first. The owner Sam D James came to a home I had made an offer on to scope drain pipes. I felt like he did a good job. He mentioned it could use a clean out and I gave him the opportunity to up sell or try to offer unnecessary repairs and he said he didn't recommend unless there was a problem. I appreciated his honesty and decided to use him to replace galvanized supply lines with Uponor Pex. This is where it all went down hill.
I was out of town when job started, when I got to my home they were 30 percent complete and it looked very sloppy. I had agreed that small holes would be cut to install pipes, but I was at a loss when I saw what they had done.
Also I assume they took my framing hammer, 2 flat bars, and Sheetrock saw. I told Forman and recovered all but Sheetrock saw. After job was complete, I noticed they had taken a pellet gun from a filing cabinet in my garage and don't know what else they may have taken. Why are they going thru my stuff. Most of it was left in home from previous owners.
When I addressed issues, the owner minimized it and said damage was incidental. I feel that it was negligent. Is it normal and acceptable to use homeowners bricks to put new water heater on? I wanted to put it on a base that would not allow dirt and lint to collect below it. I will have to remove to fix wholes and build base and they only put one valve on supply so I will have to drain water on entire system to remove. Owner thinks that is "above and beyond".
When I told him about missing gun he accused me of fabricating the story to negotiate lower price and asked for my proof. He is correct I don't have proof, just it was locked when they were not there and it was not broken into. Well, in conclusion, if my attached photos look good to you. Then by all means use this company if you don't mind paying a little more. In my honest opinion, I was billed a premium price for sub standard and sloppy, shoddy work and am angry to be stolen from and having my integrity questioned. I paid owner $614 less than billed amount because I will have to fix and complete the job and because I feel the work was so sloppy. I feel they did as little as they could get away with. I will never use this company again and could not recommend.
After repairing the water heater I found some of faucets were hooked up with hot water on the right. Still finding stuff messed up. Other contractors asked me if crack heads did work!
