Recommended Customer Reviews

They responded to a EXTREME water leak that had consumed 3,000 gallons in one day.
The two plumbers that came out (called by the HOA Property Management Company) were professional in every sense of the word. Exceptional follow up and communications from James LeCourt Plumbing office. If you need a first rate plumber then contact James LeCourt Plumbing. Their team has been awesome.

This company is TOTALLY SHADY! Not to mention they way overcharge. I had a leak in the garage of a rental unit I own. I called the association because they usually handle garage related issues. They called out LeCourt Plumbing, who came out, evaluated the problem, which involved taking the faucet piece off the pipe sticking out of the wall in the master tub/shower, put it back on, told the tenants baby sitter, who was there, that they had left their card, then they left.
I spoke to the tenant that evening who informed me that the association was not paying for the repair and when I asked, she said they had not left an estimate, just a business card. So I called the plumber to let them know I was the owner, they had come out to do check out a leak for my association, but apparently I am responsible and wanted to know why they didn't leave an estimate? I told them I did need it repaired, so if they wanted to give me a price I would probably hire them since they'd already gone out to look at it.
I was given a price of approx. $160 to have the same company do the repair work they checked out the day before. That sounded fair, so I made the arrangements with the tenant and with the plumber to call me with the repair cost when they were done and I'd give them my credit card.
They did the job, they called me and I paid them. Case closed...except after I get back from a 16 day trip and find that my association has tried to send me a certified letter, I call them to find out that they are billing me $180 for the initial visit to check out the problem. I told her that I had in fact hired their company to do the work and already paid them for the job. She was a little confused and did some checking and called me back and said their records did not show any updates to the bill being paid and I should call them to get it straightened out.
Fast forward, They billed my association $180 just to drive to my townhouse, walk up the stairs, pull the faucet off the pipe, probably look at the water stains in the garage, put the pipe back on and leave.
Here's where it gets totally shady, They charged my association $180 just to check out a job but do NO WORK, but to drive back and actually do the work, replace broken pipe, etc., only cost $140 (a fair price). I cannot believe that I called them, explained who I was and what the situation was, told them they didn't leave an estimate, so could I please get one and they completely neglected to tell me that there was a $180 fee that I owed for the ""checkout"" visit. I own three rental properties, and a home of my own, and I have ALWAYS had the cost of an estimate visit either be around $50-70, or if I hired that company to do the work, it would be absorbed if I hired them to do the job . They just said it was $140.
So, here I am almost three weeks later being charged more than double what I was quoted to fix my repair, and in addition to the totally shady behavior, they are rude and do not care to discuss options. THERE ARE NONE. They take no responsibility, they do not care that this is totally messed up, and I hope people will at lease read this review and know what they are dealing with--YOU WILL NOT GET THE TRUTH AND IF THEY CAN LIE, CHEAT, OR STEAL FROM YOU AND STILL FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT LOOK LEGAL--THEY WILL.
I did call my association and leave a message to the same affect. I hope they realize that they are being cheated and over charged, too.
Good Luck James LeCourt Plumbing you cheating shysters, I hope you get what you deserve.

If you had an actual website I would have written privately there but, since it says it is under construction I am writing here. I did not use the services however, I notice a couple of the comments mention being prompt and on time. Maybe that is because of the way they drive! I was cut off in traffic this morning, TWICE, by their big old van speeding down Crown Valley at 7:15AM and cutting in an out of traffic as if it was some little sports car. Lane to lane for several miles. Where is a cop when you need one? Very dangerous. I certainly hope he made his first call on time. Not too intelligent to drive that way when you have the company name painted on the truck!

Tldr; this guy is rude and an absolute crook
HOA sent them out. I was told I could not pick my own plumber and they never said anything about the rate.
No charge was ever mentioned before he came out nor was I involved in the time he came but of course he decides to come right after 5pm (after hours) granted I did not know of any charge or that the time he came matters since he was called by the hoa around 2pm and came right after 5pm
He comes over and I find out the problem in five minutes (I didn't want to turn on the water with out a plumber), he literally did nothing as I turned it back on and found the problem. He begins to laugh at me saying I'm out thousands of dollars in damage (upstairs was flooded to the downstairs ceiling) and that the hoa. Right before he gets in his truck he says he is going to bill me $400 which I laughed off as I thought it was a joke and told him no way as he was there less than ten minutes and didn't even offer to repair.
Months later I get a bill for over $300 for less than ten minutes and no services / repairs rendered and any other plumber would have had no charge.
I'm currently working with my hoa to try to sue these crooks.
Tldr; this guy is rude and an absolute crook

Same as my check in:
Thank GOD for these people.
I just bought a condo in Aliso and two days after I move in we discover some water leaking in our garage. Called the HOA and they sent these guys out.
I can honestly say I'm happy it was them who were called. Excellent work.
They discovered the source of the leak almost instantly and resolved it while also taking cautionary steps to make sure none of my belongs were damaged.
Well done!

I rarely take the time to review people but after reading all the negative stuff I feel compelled to weigh-in. I'm about to call them out and only landed on Yelp to get their number.
I have used them 7 times that I can remember - at my rental property, my home and my office. I call them back because they have always done a great job. I have to admit that they aren't the cheapest but I suspect that is because they hire experienced plumbers. And they've NEVER surprised me with charges. They give me a quote before they do the work. Obviously, they can't come out for free so I know there's a minimum. That's the way it works!
They've never sent anyone that didn't know what they were doing. Of the 7 times, 5 were to stop leaks (water heater supply, toilets and slab,) one time to clear a kitchen drain and once to install fixtures.
Always a professional guy shows up on time, does the work and cleans-up after himself.
I recommend them on a regular basis.

They were prompt, however their pricing is nothing short larceny.
The company is employed by our HOA Association, and were called to investigate a leak in my guest shower that seem to be coming from the unit above. The guy shows up cuts a whole in my drywall doesn't see any water or leak other than the damage to the drywall. He tries to knock on the neighbors door and access the unit above to ascertain if the leak is coming from the neighbors unit was unable to do so, and hence he leaves.
A few days later he makes an appointment with the owner of the unit above spend 15 to 20 minutes running the water and as you're not trying to ascertain whether or not he can find a leak wasn't able they leave.
A month later I get a bill for $500 lol.
After a few conversations with folks at their office they realize that we were in fact overbilled my $90
I'm sorry to say but a service call like that should cost nothing more than $200-$250 so if you want to get screwed employ these guys.

I don't know what you guys are talking about.
The HOA referred me, this is true.
I was highly motivated to make sure all these bad reviews were substantiated.
I was proven very wrong.
Jennifer was perky and helpful. She's just a nice gal who answers your angry calls. Give her a break. Who else calls the plumber except stressed out people?
Spoke to Brett, who was a soft spoken, polite gentleman who inspected the issue pertaining to my plumbing prior. He gave a quote and noted that it included all parts and labor as well. He even referred me to a dry wall guy.
Pro Tip: if your tub is attached to the floor and the wall, you're gonna need a dry wall guy.

I'm sitting watching TV and my wife starts yelling and screaming that there is water and poo coming up from a downstairs bathroom while she was doing laundry. That's right people, poo water coming out the bathroom and into the hall, good times! Wife called these guys and they handled it. Ron was one of the guys who came out and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and left the area where he was working very clean. Very happy with the services provided.

Recently my Mom had a water heater that was leaking in her garage. I told her that i would find a plumber to come and fix it. The problem being, I live in Arkansas and travel for my job. I hit the Yellow Pages and found James LeCourt Plumbing.
I called and spoke to Jim and explained what had happened, and my situation. He told me that he would dispatch a plumber to my Moms as soon as he could and would call me back with an estimate for the work. I assumed that they would be unable until later that day. Wrong!! My Mom called me about 45 minutes after I spoke to Jim. The plumber was at the gate to her community.
The plumber arrived at her house and immediately began assesing the situation. He explained, in detail, what the problem was and what was going to be required to fix it. My Mom called me, and I told her to go ahead and approve the repairs. With water all over the garage, what else are you going to do? The plumber did not have a water heater with him and advised her that he would need to get one then would complete the repairs. Again, I figured this would take some time to do. And again, I was wrong!
He left the house and returned in less than two hours. The middle of the day in Irvine, I thought that was pretty good time! The work was completed within two hours, including clean up.
I can't express enough how happy I am with James LeCourt Plumbing. Living so far away from my Mom its hard to find trustworthy businesses to do work for her. Very professional group. I was kept in the loop during the whole process. Really made me feel at ease. One more thing, the cost was under the initial estimate.
Great Job!! Thank you!!
