Called them out this morning for my A/C not working properly. They arrived within the hour and it took him no more than 10 minutes to figure out that I had a bad capacitor. It was an easy swap for him. After changing it out, he cleaned the coils and unit so it looked good as new. I definitely had a good experience with this company. I had my A/C compressor stop working on Thursday. Called them Friday morning at 715AM. they arrived at about 1100AM. They only had one person on call. It was July 3rd, not 4th, and apparently in the summer heat in Texas they were running a "holiday" crew. I was also up-charged $135 for "SERVICE CHARGE SUNDAYS/HOLIDAYS". As I have noted, it was Friday July 3rd, not the fourth.
I was not informed by Ashley when i placed the call that Friday was considered a holiday by James Lane. I was only informed AFTER the completion of the work by Justin. So needless to say, Thanks for being available to get my AC running again, but you need to be more upfront about when you are going to surcharge for a day that is not a holiday simply because the company chose to do this! Even the banks were open for normal operations on Friday and celebrated the 4th of July on...you guessed it the FOURTH OF JULY! When its 85* inside and the temp is going to rise, these companies have you by the "bal**" and can just celebrate a holiday whenever they chose i guess!

Would not respond to my home, and I'm a previous customer, for an air conditioner emergency without a credit card and couldn't guarantee me a technician would be available. I have two elderly golden retrievers suffering in the heat. Apparently James Lane values money more than customer service. Disgusting.

It was time for our Fall checkup and Josh came out, when scheduled and did a professional job inspecting, cleaning and installing new filters in all the units. A clean bill of health and some tips on what to look for, settings for the efficient use of the units and Josh still went the last mile cleaning up and making each area just like he found it. A real pleasure to have Josh in our home.

My AC went out and called James Lane to come check it out. I called in them around 9:30 they came out about 2:50. The temperature was 83 in the house. It took him about 45 minutes from arriving to replace the motor. Cost me $720.00 (crying) but when it is 108 outside and you have children you gotta make some life choices. The representative Justin was very friendly, polite and professional. We always call this company for AC and plumbing issues.
