I have never had such a bad experience with a person who was supposed to be professional in my entire life! I called this company this afternoon to schedule an appointment to have my sewer pipe unclogged. I was told that they would be here between 3-5 P.M. At 2:30 P.M., I decided I had time to go and make a deposit at my bank. At 2 minutes to 3, I arrived at my house to find that my mother, who is living with me because she's too old to live independently, allowed them inside against my wishes.
My mother had no idea where the main sewer pipe was so, they had to go into my bedroom where there is a door to that small space. That means they also had to open the other doors to find it while I was not there! My bedroom is my personal space. It is my sanctuary. I don't appreciate strangers in there when I am not home. Who would?
They should have asked if the homeowner was home.
Then, they should have waited until at least 3 P.M. to see if I would be there and not have entered until I was there. That would have been the professional thing to do.
I told my mother I didn't appreciate her letting them inside. Because my mother is 89 years old, she is hard of hearing so, I have to talk loudly. The man told me that I was being rude to her. I wasn't. We are very frank with each and always have been. That is the way we are. The man said that I should have more ""respect"" for her. I told him she should show some too.
After all, it is my house and my bedroom she allowed strangers to enter.
He told me that normally people complain when they are late and not when they are early. I did not complain that they were early. My issue was that they came into the house without the homeowner (me) being present. Then, the man was talking to my mother about the trees in the front yard and how they may be affecting the clogged pipe. I told the man that I was the homeowner, not her.
At that point, he took offense at that and told his co-worker that they were ""out of here"" and that he never met such a ""rude person"" in all his life.
They went down stairs and were whispering about my jogging suit and he called my jewelry ""fake ass"". It isn't but, that should not matter to him!
He also called me a ""punk"". The girl, who was with him, for some reason, mentioned my ""1998 Cadillac"". I don't know what any of that had to do with my clogged sewer pipe. They accused me of getting the home from my mother even though she has never owned the home and didn't move in here until a while after I had purchased it. The house is in my name. Not hers. It was never her home, not that it should have mattered to him.
He should have consulted with me, the homeowner, and not with her. They should have waited until I came home before entering.
The girl inferred that I staged the whole thing to get out of paying even though I have thousands of dollars of open credit on my cards.
They both left in a huff and didn't bother to clean anything up. Sewer water was on my bedroom floor. They left the back door wide open after leaving. The house became ice cold. My mother noticed it first and had to go to her bedroom. That is the way they treat the elderly? By freezing them to death?
I don't recommend this company to anyone. WHAT A DISASTER!
Charlee R.Ranged cost of work at $350-$450. In & out in 30 mins. Less than an hours worth of work, I expected to be in the lower end of the range. Was billed $495.
Had a non emergency plumbing issue, so I decided to stay local small business with it. Estimated to arrive between 9-10 am, ended up coming at 3:00 pm. No big deal, no emergency. The tech that came was super nice and professional. That part I give 5 stars. However, after poking around for an hour and calling another colleague for help, they were not able to diagnose my clog issue without ""taking apart the walls"", nor offered a feasible resolution. Still was charged a ridiculous service/labor fee. Also the van that the tech was driving left 3 large oil spots in my driveway. Response from the office when I called later to let them know about the oil spots from their van was ok thanks. No apology. Wow.
I wouldn't recommend calling them unless you want to get screwed. They were called for a clogged toilet on a Sunday and was charged $700 to snake the toilet with a hand held toilet auger. A weekend usually means you will pay extra but $700 for 1 hour is ridiculous. Taking advantage of a 90 year old couple should be criminal.
Awful customer service on the part of the technicians. The owner needs to know his employees shout at people on the phone and hang up on them. And incessant inappropriate texts. Just terrible to deal with.
Called for after hours emergency service. Toilet valve and hose leaking. A live person answered the phone and called us back within a few minutes. The plumber (Kris)
arrived in apx 20 minutes. The job was done quickly and right. Thank you!
I have used this company's service a couple of times. They are very accommodating, professional,
And prices are reasonable.
Saturday morning on Thanksgiving weekend we had a sewer backup. After calling many plumbers they were the only ones to respond. Shane came out within a couple of hours, within 5 min. of the estimated time. He was cheery and went right to work. Wonderful to deal with, and a good price for a holiday weekend. Will be using them from now on.
Was given a quote $155 to replace a bathroom sink faucet. Plumber came out and said it was complicated as it had to be hooked up underneath the sink. Well duh how else do you attach the parts. I've never seen a faucet with the parts other than the spout and hot and cold handles mounted anywhere else. So he said because it was sooo complicated that it would cost $295. I told him to forget it. What an attempt of a rip off.
Michelle D.Jim and his crew are great. They have done all of the work in our house since we bought it in 2003. They've installed a hot water tank, replaces frozen shut-offs, repaired or replaced faucets, and they always do a great job. Very timely and dependable. Even came out on a Saturday due to their hectic schedule, but did not charge overtime. Call them, you will not be disappointed.
