They installed a new HVAC unit for my condo that cost almost $10,000. The unit came with a 5-year warranty. I had problems with the unit since the first year of install. I had to call Jama to come back to repair it and pay for their service fees every time. I told Jama that it was not right that a new unit had so many problems, but Jama ignored my complaints and told me the unit was fine. The last repair occurred in 2020, eventually Jama told me that they couldn't repair the unit anymore. I would need to purchase a new unit because the warranty has expired. I called Jama multiple times, sent them emails a few times, but they refused to engage in any communications. This company is the worst!!!

My friend referred me to this business. I needed my HVAC system serviced. They have an easy system to book appointments & receive/pay invoices. They did a great job inspecting & cleaning everything. Gave me pointers & explained every step as they were doing it. I called them back for the next service & I now have an annual contract for scheduled maintenance. I prefer to have them scheduled otherwise, I'll forget it about it until something breaks in the middle of winter/summer. They're on top of it, very professional, & trustworthy.

Jama has been my HVAC services go to for almost 10 years. My geothermal system doesn't require much but when it does I can always count on Jose to diagnose and repair promptly to get it up and running again without fail. He is honest and reliable and I welcome him in my house.

Excellent service. Miguel came over the morning after I called to report that my mini-split system was not working. He quickly diagnosed the problems and came back the following day to make repairs.
He wore booties inside the house, and a mask (because of Covid). When he came back to do the repairs on the second day, he and his assistant had to go back and forth between their truck and the interior of our home, so they tracked some leaves inside, but they cleaned it all up before they left.

These guys are a joke! We had them out May 30th. They cleaned my coils and charged my hvac system. They said they fixed a small leak in my system and charged me 980.00. In mid July the unit wasnt cooling any longer. When I called in to have them check it out the person on the phone gave me a rough time saying it was my fault and I had leaks in the system and I would be charged again for it and a""leak check"", this is before I even gave her my address. They wanted to sell me a entire new r410 system..... Finally I got them to come out to figure what was happening. The guy was there a few hours and he could only find the leak ""they stopped"" a month ago. I told the tech I wanted someone to call me Monday to discuss this since it was a weekend...no one called, I had to call them and gave them one final notice before stopping payment and try to make this right...

I called another company, they fixed the leak and added freon to the system over half the cost to these clowns. The tech also stated they shouldnt have used chemicals to the coils because it damages them.

Moral of the story, if you are looking for a great company who stands behind their work then dont use these guys. If you want to see a circus, give them a call.

I have dealt with this family owned and operated company for 5 years
and they have never failed me- They are wonderful and do not over charge and will work until the problem is solved- I highly suggest you given them a try!

They responded the same day which was very nice. The tech was very polite and got the job done in about an hour. My major problem with this company is that they charged me 3x the actual cost of the capacitor they changed. Other than the price gouge, they were average.

The technician had to access the roof to fix the A/C. After he left, a hole in the ceiling was discovered in the area where he had accessed the roof. Jama was informed and denied their tech had done it but no one else had been in that area. Jama refused to fix the ceiling. I will not be using them again. If I could give them zero I would.

After contacting over 20 different companies about repairing a closed damper/vent above my furnace, I received a referral to Jama. All the other companies, including the company that installed my new furnace, Michael and Son, told me they could not repair the damper/vent. Miguel from Jama, came to the rescue! He methodically inspected the issue and determined that it was a fairly straightforward repair. He removed 2 small sections of duct, enlarged the access panel to the damper/vent and made the repair in less than 2 hours! Very professional and courteous. Please remember that the small, local family-owned companies can do wonders when even the big boys who say ""if you can't, we can"" really cannot do it. I highly recommend Jama Heating, Cooling & Plumbing.
