We were referred to Jake's plumbing company by a good friend who had work done by Jake's plumbing. We had raw sewage coming out the side of our house and causing an awful smell in our home and then water was backing up in all of our toilets . We contacted Jake's plumbing company ,he came out right away to fix the problem.

Working again with Jakes through America Home Shield and once AHS sorted out our contract renewal, we were pleased to have Jake arrive as scheduled and handle our leaking kitchen faucet. It took 2 visits, as expected, as process required pre approval for the purchase of a new replacement faucet. Given the process was interrupted by Thanksgiving, we actually got great turn around. Jake and Co arrived this morning, installed new faucet, walked us through the features and headed off to another customer!

Even if we didn't have AHS, we'd certainly call Jakes!

Based on my experience Jake isn't to be trusted. He made recommendation for expensive repairs and was difficult at ever step. The warranty company sent another plumber and they were able to fix it in one call at no additional cost. Jake didn't return call or respond to my letter. It took 3 months to get nothing that took the next plumber an hour. Based on my experience the 5 star rating are made up. I would ask to talk with live customers. Get a second opinion.

Jake's Plumbing was assigned to do a 2nd opinion call from my home warranty company after things went bad with the first plumber they assigned to my claim. My garbage disposal wasn't working. The first plumbing company didn't even look down the drain, they only took a picture of the unit under the sink, told me I needed a new garbage disposal, said that they weren't sure the insurance would cover it, took the $65 and left. Thus the 2nd opinion. This morning when Eric from Jake's Plumbing arrived, he already had his tool bucket in hand, asked what the problem was, got under the sink and within a minute had fixed it. There was some small object that had lodged in there and it froze the motor. There was no need to replace the disposal. Eric then noticed that my gasket needed to be replaced, had an extra one on him and quickly replaced that. Eric was great. He really knows his stuff when it comes to garbage disposals. I'll definitely use them again in the future.

I have Eric in my house today. He is realy nice and professional, and doesn't mind to do the hard job. He has made a lot of efforts to fasten a faucet in a very small space, which the last technician told me that it was not accessible and nothing he could do. Big thanks.

We were referred Jake's Plumbing through our Home Warranty (First American). We are very pleased with their service for our water heater. We had already gone through a big ordeal with our water heater. From the time they were assigned to us, the plumber called and made the appt., came on time. They fixed the heater temporarily, as we had to wait for the parts. They even called and checked after the heater was fixed temporarily, if it is working or if the part has arrived.
When the parts came in, they came back and finished their job. They were on time, great customer service and we would highly recommend it.

I would not recommend Jake's Plumbing to anyone. Very unprofessional businessman. His employee Eric was very professional and informed me Jake needed to contact AHS insurance to check my coverage to complete the work. No call for almost a week. I called Jake and he proceeded to tell me the work was done. He became argumentative instead of trying to rectify the problem. Called AHS and they said I'd have to pay for another plumber to come out so I was stuck with Jake. Jake sent Eric out again just to say all the work was not covered. Called AHS, they said he never contacted them and this is when I requested a supervisor call me. While on the phone complaining to a supervisor at AHS, I received a VM from another supervisor from AHS who had just got off the phone with Jake and he told her the order was closed and my washer clean out and kitchen sink were both cleared. WRONG!! It was my toilet and washer clean out and they were not fixed. Incompetent and shady business practices that cost the consumer time and money.

Came home to a clogged sink. I attempted to fix the problem myself and I broke off the clean out plug. I called Jake's Plumbing and received a quick return call. I explained the problem and was given a two hour window for a plumber to show up. About an hour later, Jake showed up and immediately assessed the problem. Jake provided a quick solution and assured me it was not as bad as it looked. With a quick snaking of the drain and a new cap, the problem was fixed. Jake was very knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend his company to fix any plumbing issues.

I was extremely satisfied with Jake's Plumbing and will definitely use this company again. The plumber was easy to contact, returned my call promptly, showed up on time within the 2 hour window, and even called when he was on his way. I had 3 different problems fixed/repaired at my home which was serviced by Jake's Plumbing - 2 shower head leaks and a gas line switch installation. Everything is in good working order now. This was a very professional experience. I appreciated Jake's honesty and fair pricing for parts and repairs.

I would highly recommend!! We had noticed water dripping from our ceiling by the time we got home on a Friday night. Jake had answered on the first call early Saturday morning and was at our house a few hours later. They were very professional and determined the problem right away and fixed it and for a fair price. Jake also recommended us to another company that will fix the damages the leak had created. Jakes plumbing is honest and friendly with great customer service and price. We will definitely be using them in the future.
