I just moved here, and now turning on the disposal caused the adjacent sink to back up. There was also some water in the basement, behind the washing machine.
I started with low expectations... I emailed Friday evening and Monday at 10am... crickets. But it WAS Friday night. I called and they found the email and Doug was here at 2. He quickly figured out where the clog was, solved the problem, made minimal mess (and cleaned it all up), tested everything, and explained how I can keep him from coming back. Inexpensive, a nice, knowledgeable guy, and quick response (after the glitch). I will say, to date, I have NEVER given a five star review!

My husband noticed an issue with a pipe in the basement and was concerned about our mainline. I sent a text on a Friday afternoon and received a text back about 10 minutes later. We had a technician out the next morning. He texted before coming over, was on time, and super friendly. Would definitely use them again!

The home inspector warned us that the main drain was so clogged, he couldn't scope it. Kevin from Jake and Snake arrive the same day I called. He worked until he was able to clear the drain all the way to the street. A true professional. A joy to work with.

We had a clogged kitchen sink. This company got us on their schedule quickly, were on time, gave a reasonable estimate over the phone (that was accurate), and they were able to resolve the issue properly. Their technician Kevin was courteous, professional, and fixed a clog that was quite a distance downstream. It's nice to deal with an honest and fair company.


Just a note: We initially called a couple other companies like Rotorooter and Applewood heating and plumbing. Both were overpriced and wouldn't even give a quote until they were onsite. Then the cost was $500+ (I guess they must think they're doctors because $500 for an hours work is just stupid). Basically, I told them to pound sand after getting over the sticker shock. Both companies have what I would consider questionable ethics and seem to count on people who are desperate for a repair and will pay because they're in a pinch.

Jake the Snake provided excellent service at our home recently when our kitchen and laundry room drain was clogged. They were easy to reach, and we were able to schedule a repairman promptly. He was very courteous and professional. We would definitely call them again should a similar problem arise.

We had a main line back up. Had another company come out and told us our line was blocked and they could not clear and they were going to charge us over $6000 to unblock by digging up our yard, etc. We wanted a second opinion and we are so glad we were referred to Jake the Snake sewer. They came out the morning we called and cleared the line. We asked them to do the camera as well and they said the pipe was fine and just needed annual maintenance.

The technicians were polite, on time and knew their stuff. They were great and we plan to use them every year now.
