Terry at Jake the Plumber does exceptional work. I hired him to help me with a full remodel where I took an old home to the studs and he completely rebuilt the entire plumbing system. Terry, the owner of Jake the Plumber, was on time, worked quickly, and cost MUCH less than the other bid I received. I had 3 pipes leaking under 2 bathroom and 1 kitchen sink (in our house and our rental). The first bid was for $1200, but Terry charged $250 and told me it was only failing caulk on one sink (which we fixed ourselves).

The problem was fixed the same day for much, much less. Plus, Terry was a really nice guy. Highly recommend.

Terry got great reviews on Yelp, so I tried him and he lived up to his reputation. I needed a new hot water heater but it wasn't an emergency, so I could price out the bids and bide my time. He beat the competition and provided a top-quality Bradford-White hot water heater. Some other plumbers use a lower quality brand to stay price competitive. He installed it on time and even installed an earthquake strap at no extra charge. I would definitely use him again.

Terry is a straight shooter. If you're tired of getting jerked around by other shops or not sure they are giving it to you straight, look no further. Terry has been my first call plumber since I bought my house 15 years ago. He completely replaced all my iron pipes with copper and pulled a new 1"" copper service line in from the street. Also installed a new gas water heater. It was a huge job and he did it quick and the price was more than fair. Since that time I've used him for a bunch of minor jobs like snaking my side sewer or installing a new gas line (he's also an airsmith). Did I mention he's a super nice guy? Takes his shoes off when he comes into the house, cleans up his work area, shows up when he says he will. Seriously, what more can you ask for? Over the years I've recommended him to all my friends and their assessment is the same as mine.

Terry's awesome to work with. He came out to scope out the job for free and was super easy to work with when we agreed to go for the install on our odd-sized water heater and two of our toilets. He went above and beyond when I asked him about a little trouble we were having with a shower.

Completely agree with other reviewers that they're knowledgeable and professional. I'd recommend Terry and his small biz any day.

Called in the evening for an appointment in the am - today - thanksgiving day. All things considered, was quoted a reasonable price. There was something nasty in my drain and terry fixed it ASAP. Roto-rooter wanted 2x for the same work. Actual price matched estimate. Don't be extorted - call jakes - they're cool

They came in, made a quick assessment, fixed the issue and were done. 1 hour. Wonderful, knowledgable and professional. I will hire them again, if I have a need.

We had an excellent experience with Jake the Plumber!!! This was not an emergency situation, but when I called a live person answered the phone and set me up with an appointment for a few days later. I called several other plumbers and left messages and not one of them called back. The morning of the appointment Terry from Jake the Plumber called me prior to arriving to confirm, arrived on time and was in/out within the hour. The rate was actually much more reasonable than I had anticipated. Terry was personable, professional and because of the service overall we would use Jake the Plumber again in a heartbeat (and will also recommend them to friends and neighbors)!!
