I had a horrible experience with Jade's. I called for a quote for some plumbing work in the context of a modest condo remodel last summer. The plumber came, gave us a quote, and said that, considering how hard it is to get workers to come do with during the summer in Jackson, we should probably pay in full, upfront. And not knowing any better, we did- several thousand dollars. In hindsight, he took advantage of and manipulated us. Everything went downhill from there. It was incredibly difficult to get the tech to come to our house. We were charged for each visit, even though that hadn't been disclosed to us initially. Information about what pieces had to be in place for the tech to do his work efficiently weren't laid out ahead of time but rather dispensed bit by bit, with more charges each time he had to come and tell us he couldn't do the work. Once, I got bawled out by Jade himself for having had our contractor do something I originally wanted Jade's to do... but it was only because I couldn't get the Jade's tech to answer my calls or come back. I have kids: I needed a sink. Ultimately, I tried to get Jade's to refund my initial prepayment for the amount of the work that they were going to do and didn't do... and they ignored my calls and emails, refused and protested, and hoped that I would just go away for weeks and weeks... until I finally did. I feel used and ripped off by Jade's. They took advantage of me. They worked as a team to blow me off. They didn't do all the work I paid them for. They owe me over $800. I hope people read this and can avoid getting into the same situation. Please do not trust this company. We've told all of our friends here in town; that business is lost.
