Adam Jacoby took $6,000 from us and delivered nothing. No work. Nothing. He was a noshow for 3 appointments and we tried to reach him multiple times for six weeks before he called. We told him we wanted our money back and no response since. Check out Facebook page ""Victims of Adam Jacoby"" Plumbing. I wish I had, before getting ripped off.

Jacoby Plumbing was recommended to us, by our septic company, to have risers and lids installed on our septic. Adam and his guys came out in a timely manner, assessed the job and determined equipment needed to be rented. Jacoby Plumbing got the equipment, ""dug"" holes, installed concrete risers, put lids on them, and said that he'd return in the next couple of days to finish opening up the sand mound pipes to complete job. Being that my husband & I both work and couldn't take off to be there when he returned, my husband paid him for the job, BIG MISTAKE we know now! Waited a week, called & spoke with his secretary/wife/gf, who said we were on the schedule that week & he'd be out and that it wasn't necessary for us to be home since we'd already paid. Should never trust people to honor their word or work! We thought he came out on the day we were told and completed the job. Well, our septic cleaning guy came out recently to pump our tanks, removed the concrete lids, and proceeded to tell us he'd never seen someone *screwed* over so badly before. JACOBY had done nothing after he first left and our tanks couldn't be pumped. Calls to Adam Jacoby, by the septic company owner and ourselves, had Adam apologizing and
promising he'd be out that day to complete the job. No show. Subsequent calls have been ignored. Called him again a week later and left message to let him know we still had time to file a claim against him in small claims court and were giving him an opportunity to honor his word and work. That got his attention and he told my husband that he'd be out next day. Guess what? No show, again! Since we are still within the statute of limitations, I'm filing this week! This guy CANNOT be trusted.

My experience with Jacoby Plumbing in New Freedom.

June 2nd. They installed a new energy efficient water heater to the tune of $3600.00. I chose the bigger one because I could get a break on my taxes. They plugged it into a receptacle that was hooked on the lights line. (Which we didn't know at the time). When they left, they left the old extremely heavy heater and a towel shoved into the vent for the old heater vent because it was bigger then the new one. Stating they would be back the next day for the old heater.

June 3rd. No show

June 13th. I called asking for a receipt and ask if the heater was safe being turned on and off. I was told a receipt would be put in the mail immediately and they would be down they next day after 10 to fix it.

June 14th no show

June 20th I texted asking for a receipt for my taxes and promised I wouldn't bother them again. To date no receipt.

I strongly do not recommend Jacoby Plumbing. They never finished my job. Took them to court and won but they didn't pay that either. I also know I am not the only one they ripped off. There is a Facebook group of Jacoby Plumbing victims. I paid half up front and was to pay the other half upon completion. My father is in his 80's Adam Jacoby told my Dad I said to pay him, when I did not say that. My father gave him the check and they never returned. I also know there is a Southern York County Facebook page and he received good comments it is why I hired them. Since then I found out if you say anything negative on there, they remove that comment. Scam scam scam. Find a better plumbing company so you aren't in the same situation I am. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

My water heater tank died recently. Some sensor problem. A kind gentleman on Facebook gave me a sensor, but alas that fixed one problem then a different error popped up (sigh). Consulted with Jacoby Plumbing, Adam (the owner) recommended a tankless system.

His guys just left, took me from the old tank (left) to the new tankless (right). I was worried about lag between turning on the spigot and actually getting hot water, but heck, I think it's actually a little faster than my old system. The guys were nice, did a great job, in and out in just a couple hours. Took care of everything and hauled away the old clunker for me too. I was also super appreciative that Adam was willing to work with me, splitting the payment as I was a little short on the funds and payday is a week away. I bathed the last couple days with a bucket, so I'm *SUPER* super thankful for having hot water today not next week haha. Not to mention heating water on the stove to do the dishes was NOT fun either

So yea, if you want to explore a tankless system, Jacoby Plumbing is a solid choice. You won't be dissatisfied!

I had a terrible clog and called Jacoby Plumbing. They came out the next morning, were very nice and knowledgeable, and got rid of my clog. I will definitely call them back for all my plumbing needs.
