These guys are hard to get a hold of. Repeated phone calls to get a response, a no show, then ultimately over priced for a slapped-together job. When asked for an invoice, a hand written (unitemized) note was given to us as they were walking out the door. If I hadn't asked, one would not have been provided. This was over a year ago, and I still shake my head every time I look at the the work they did (or didn't) do.

Jacoby came highly recommended from a good friend of mine. He came out in a timely manner and said we needed a new furnace. We have been without heat almost all winter. He asked for $4,000 up front and haven't heard back from him since. It's been quite a few months when he came out. How do I go about getting my money back. So I can get a reputable person to give me a furnace. I can't do it without the money that he took.

Adam came out and worked on my well, it was during Thanksgiving so it was pricey. I have been trying to get him to send me an invoice and as of today 1/9/22 I still have not gotten one, he got his payment that day, I really would like my invoice Adam, not a good way to run the business.

I highly recommend you do NOT use Jacoby Plumbing. They never finished my bathroom and I know I am not the only one they ripped off. I won a judgement against them and he hasn't paid that either. My father is in his 80's they were supposed to come and finish so I left a check on the fridge. They didn't finish but Adam Jacoby told my father that I said he was supposed to give him the check. My father being a trusting man believed him and paid him and they never returned. He conned an old man. I read an article that he was such a good man. Well to me that is far from the truth. BEWARE!!!

DO NOT USE Jacoby Plumbing!!! My mom called Jacoby Plumbing to fix a small leak in her baseboard heater in the basement that needed replaced, Adam came out and quoted her $300. He then got COVID, so his workers came out to do the work instead of Adam and charged her $595 after being quoted $300. After the workers left, the cold water pressure in the sink and washing machine was nonexistent, it took an hour to fill the washing machine. And there was a gushing water sound when the heat turned on that she thought was a leak. My mom called the company and left a message, to which no one called her back, so she called a week later, left ANOTHER voicemail and threatened to go on Facebook to leave a bad review and finally got a call back. Once she explained to the secretary what had happened, the secretary said she would tell Adam. The workers, NOT ADAM, came back out to check the pressure and told her it was her faucet in the kitchen (which is only 2 years old) and said that he will go to Home Depot and get a cold water cartridge. The worker then texted her while they were at Home Depot and said he would pick up another faucet because the faucet now was ""as cheap as a disposable camera"". That worker did not come back, but another one did with a faucet and told her that it would be $495 to install, my mom asked how much the faucet was because that's ridiculous, and the guy told her it was a $300 faucet. She denied the faucet and said ""who needs a $300 faucet?!"" She then called Jacoby Plumbing again, Adam called back and said he would come out and see what was going on. He came out and was told about the overcharge from the initial quote and told my mom everything that he would do from here on out would not cost anything. He looked over everything and said he would go to Home Depot and buy a hot/cold water cartridge for her specific house, this was October 5th. On October 17th my mom reached back out because she hadn't heard anything from anyone and asked what was going on. He told her he had the cartridge and never responded until October 19th. He told her he would call her in 10 minutes, an hour goes by, she calls and he said he would be out the next day which was a Wednesday. No call no show. She texted him AGAIN on Friday and asked what the hell is going on basically, and she never heard anything back from him. My mom had another plumber come out because they have not been good service AT ALL!!! That plumber said the water pressure issue was due to a cold water valve not being completely opened, and the water rushing sounds were due to Jacoby Plumbing not bleeding the system after turning off the water to the house. THIS IS BASIC PLUMBING THAT THEY GOT WRONG AND CHARGED WAY TOO MUCH FOR POOR SERVICE!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!

They turned a 1-day job into weeks due to no shows and lack of communication. Sloppy work, not up to code, half of it had to be redone by another contractor. Demanded payment in full before the job would be completed, then had to track him down to get them to finish. Adam ignored my messages and calls and only when I posted on social media publicly did he reply (which took 2 weeks). Definitely wouldn't use again or recommend. Only gave 1 star because Yelp won't allow 0.

1 star because the tub itself is nice.
These guys came highly recommended. All I see are good reviews on their FB page but Yelp shows otherwise; unfortunately I didn't check that until it was too late.

The job was started on 1/17. After being told it would be a 1 day job, the crew left without finishing to tend to another customer. Our home was left with a pretty thick layer of dust throughout and there were drywall, tape and trash bits in & outside our home. Adam was sure to get payment from us before he left, 2nd red flag.

The 1st red flag was the error in their measuring which caused our tub to sit too far back. This left a huge gap between the tile and tub which they covered with very wide trim. It's obvious a mistake was made and does not look pretty!

Adam's father (Terry) came back the next day, 1/18, to finish the job without the necessary tools; 3rd red flag. Luckily we had what he needed so he borrowed from us.

We were told we would probably have to do another layer of caulk ourselves, 4th red flag. We did the second layer and the issue continued. I reached out via fb messenger and received a response instantly - I was told that they would come out to fix the issue and was asked what days worked for us that week. 4 days later I still had not heard back, 5th red flag. I sent another message asking when they planned to come. 2 wks later I called and spoke with Adam. I was scheduled for 2/17 at ""8/8:30"". 9am came and went. I called for an update and I still have not heard back. It is now 2/24.

The quality of the tub is nice and we felt comfortable with these guys in our home; they seemed like good, local, country boys who we could trust.
We are so disappointed at the lack of follow through, error in measurement and the mess they left.

I had a frustrating experience with this company. Adam came out to look at my furnace. He looked at it for about 5 minutes and said I'd need a new furnace and also a new pipe to replace an old corroded one. I asked about the estimate and he said he would email me. I called and texted with the office person multiple times a week trying to get an estimate for the furnace and it still took three weeks for him to get back to me. He quoted me at $4230.00. My house is small and I felt a bit shocked at that number, so I got a second opinion. Another company came and looked at the furnace and figured out it just needed a part. He fixed it in 20 minutes and for only $100. Adam acted unprofessional when this was brought to his attention . I feel like he tried to rip me off. I wouldn't recommend this company.

We had a problem with well and they responded quickly. Called other plumbers and the were telling us a week before they could come due to frozen pipes. Jacoby Plumbing came to our resuce and had our water back in 2 days. Great Job Professional Staff and Great to work with
