Unbelievable. I just recieved a bill in the mail for $168.00. A salesman came to my house to give me an estimate to get our whole house generator working. He wanted a deposit of $800 to cover parts and labor. Apparently they didn't enough money. I called another company and they got my generator running for $80.00. I plan to contact the better business bureau and if I hear from Jackson again they will hear from my attorney. Never experienced this in 60 years.

After our pole light was moved during a construction project, it proved unreliable. Activated by a photocell, it had worked for 40+ years at dusk casting light on our mailbox. Following its repositioning, it continued to work like a champ in dry weather. During bouts of wet weather, it started to kick the circuit breaker and black out. We engaged Jackson Total Service, Inc. to correct that specific deficiency. Obviously, the problem had to be a defect in the electrical line or other wire connections near the light pole. After inspection, the technician determined a light pole swap off and proper nearby connections in keeping with code were the answer. Costs associated with the project approached $1000 ($902.05). The new pole light worked splendidly for 6 weeks. With the first wet weather at night, it went back to kicking the circuit breaker. Isn't this where we came in? We contacted the company several times (by e-mail, web, phone & post) for redress. We were greeted with bunkerlike silence. Evidently, they have no warranty. In our experience, this is a """"service as is"""" company. By all means, get everything in writing. This is definitely not a BBB company; no good faith effort was ever expended to resolve the issue. Bottom line, if things go south, so do they.

Jackson Total Service is the BEST!!!!!!! I have used them for the past 5 years for AC, Plumbing and Electrical, for my home and my dental practice. They are truly 24/7!! Darren replaced our facets in both bathrooms. As usual he did a great job. He is always here on time and knows what he is doing. We have used Jackson for all our plumbing and air conditioner needs for many years. I would highly recommended Jackson Total Services.

First service sent a person who could not troubleshoot it totally and then tried to charge for extra hours. Fortunately, I got it corrected by a person who was called when he arrived and left. The second time they sent extra people who mostly stood around watching others who struggled to get it done. The job was billed at 2 to 3 times what it should have been. The owner needed the money so badly he would not listen to the facts that they did not even come with the equipment needed and had us go get equipment. It has soured me from using them again. Just a regrettable experience with less than helpful or understanding administration people who make excuses for incompetent people and screen the owner from customers' concerns. Not sustainable business ethics with that service.

Great all around service. Plumbing, electric, and AC services are excellent and have used all of them. Have tried other companies and they are just not as good. Jackson may not be the cheapest, but they are one of the best. Call before 5 and no overtime fees or after hours fees. Friendly workers, fast service usually. They do it all. They have replaced toilets for me, fixed leaks, serviced AC and done inspections. I use them every time now and have seldom been disappointed.

Less than 1 star. I called for an ESTIMATE. The job was a simple replacement of an outdoor outlet from 2 prong plug to 4. He came and told me it was very complicated and was going to cost around $850. I said it seemed excessive, and I was going to get another estimate. I had another master electrician do the job the next day for $150. Then Jackson had the nerve to charge me for a service call when no service was rendered. Totally unethical as well as a rip off. Use Coastal electric.

They serviced my home last year in January. I had a water leak. We thought it was from the shower drain. They took care of it they said. They charged us $1000.00. The leak was not from the tub but from our air conditioning unit. We found the problem ourselves and had it repaired by a vey reputable company Cool Breeze. There never was an issue with the shower but they took our money and ran. I contacted them many times after with no satisfaction.

Trustworthy, efficient reliable. Showed up on time and fixed the problem quickly for $100 after Service Experts said it would be $15,000. Nice to have honest people you can trust.

This company's lack of customer service and lack of integrity are astounding. The owner of the company cannot be bothered to return a phone call or even address a customer service issue via email. The """"supposed"""" Customer Service Manager argues with their customers rather than try to listen and understand an issue. Do not trust that their technician has """"fixed"""" whatever problem you are having. And, if they say they cannot find the problem, INSIST they keep trying to figure it out. Only then will you possibly get your problem solved.
