Ripoff artists. Scammers. Thieves. I have a sewer pipe outside of my house. This pipe has a pair of cleanouts on it, both missing their caps from the previous owner sabotaging this place (foreclosure bought home). One is a 6 inch pipe, all it needed was a female cleanout cap popped into the coupler that is already there. I went to Home Depot and got that myself after calling these scammers. Took me 5 minutes of prepping, cleaning the inner surface, slathering it in PVC Cement, and popping in the cap. That one is done. I called these pirates BEFORE doing that part myself to see how much it would cost for them to come out and fix the two issues. Issue number 2 is a bit more complex. The other cleanout is a 4 inch PVC pipe, about 1.5 - 2 feet long/deep in the ground, and is cracked from top to bottom... which means digging... which apparently costs this company $100 an hour or something to do the digging... ... because they wanted to charge me $800+ !!!!!!!! ARE YOU INSANE???!!! I understand digging is hard work and all, but it does NOT take 15 hours, and there is NO way your technicians are getting paid a super high amount of money to do this job. No... thank you.

Very expensive. I was in total shock. I called since I knew someone whose husband worked for Jackson. Well, I think I had to pay for them to come and give me an estimate -- once done by another contractor, saved hundreds!! crazy....

We had them install a sink new hardware and a garbage disposal, more than $600. Had to call them back out because the garbage disposal wouldn't work right. They looked at it and said everything was fine. It wasn't. After a couple of months, I took it apart myself, and found that the drain line from the sink was 2"""" too long. It stuck into the drain line past the 'T"""" blocking the """"T"""" entirely. Took 2"""" off the pipe, put it back together, now have no problems.

I have had a couple encounters with Jackson Services. They installed a tankless water heater, which is, I'm sure everyone knows, not cheap. I paid a couple thousand and went on with life. Well the tankless water heater went down. Called them out and they told me the motherboard is fried. I was told parts would come in Thursday, didn't get parts til next week. Cold showers til then... The parts are under warranty, however, the labor will cost me $360. I'm young so I'm not educated on pricing . Well I've done some good research and I am getting destroyed in pricing! I was over charged for the water heater. I was over charged for the labor. I got an estimate before all that to fix a tub leak and got quoted over $1,600!!!! I'm in LAGRANGE!!! I can walk to there building. A company quoted me hundreds less and they are 45 mins away. Do business with out-of-town companies. You'll be surprised how much you can save. Jackson Services is a mediocre plumbing, HVAC, etc.

had them replace toilet and fix a drain. replaced another toilet with Bass plumbing and they did it in less than an hour for $170. these people charged me $375 for the toilet and almost $1k for the entire job, took them more than 4-5 hours. I would never use them again nor would I recommend them knowing how much i was ripped off.

Beware - Our heat pump froze over during cold snap. Jackson technician told me I had a freon leak and there was none left in the lines. Said I needed a new heat pump at a cost of $7700. Had Four Seasons HVAC from Lanett give me a second opinion and he said I had no leak and there was plenty of freon in the heat pump. Curious???? He found that the board that controls the defrost cycle was bad. Cost for board was $400 instead of paying $7700 for a new system I didn't need. Recommend you get a second opinion if this company tells you that you need a new system

Although the telephone rep and technician seemed courteous, they are extremely over priced in their services! They charge $80 just to give an estimate for their work! Reputable places will give you free estimates! I had another company do my services and saved several hundred dollars!
